Third Person's Pov
...

A man was unconcious in his car, his head on the steering wheel and visibly bleeding. His car had hit a tree and now had made a dent in it.

Sirens were heard from the distance as two cars had just barely avoided collusion and now one of them was at the edge of the bridge of the road and the other had hit a tree.

Soon the sirens has gotten closer and finally you could clearly see that there were police cars, fire trucks and ambulances were parked at the scene.

Police officers marked the area with yellow tape and the firemen were trying to pry the doors of each car open. Once they got the doors open, the paramedics were called in to get them into stretchers.

Once both victims were loaded into the ambulances, the ambulances were speeding away to the hospital, while the police officers were towing away their cars for further investigation on the accident .

In the ambulance, the paramedics were trying to stop an unconscious Lucas from bleeding out
"Sir he has lost a lot of blood," a medic said
"He's going to make it, he has to" the senior medic said
"Sir if I'm not mistaken, this is Lucas Neviera, the famous ceo and multimillionaire" another medic stated
"Yes it is.." the senior medic replied

They put him on oxygen and held a cloth tightly on his injury to prevent further bleeding as they sped away to the hospital

When they got to the hospital, the quickly put him on a movable iv drip and rolled him into the ICU

5 hours later

A doctor was heard talking to the nurses about the patient that had just operated on
"We've managed to stabilise him and he should be awake in a few days" a nurse said
"Any permanent brain damage?" the senior doctor asked
"None sir...." a nurse answered
" Good, now we need to call any relatives that he may have..."
" Sir, the police brought his cell phone back. and it was undamaged" a medic said
" Call the last phone number he had contacted " the senior officer demanded
"Right away sir ..." a nurse answered

Amika's Pov
...
Today has been a fairly busy second day at the restaurant and I had some very good news

My new car had arrived today and it was going to be here in a few minutes. I was very ecstatic that now I could be collecting the ingredients myself instead of ordering transport

Even though it was a very busy day, I had missed Myra alot, even though we only spent the day and night together, I felt like I had been with her forever

My car was here!!! , I quickly rushed outside to see my car.
And lord it was beautiful, my black medium sized car, it was a miracle that it was finally here

Now I'm sure you're wondering how I could afford to get a car when I just opened a restaurant, well.....I sort of won it in a competition last month a few days before moving here

I had won first place in a cooking competition and yes with the funds I used some of it on my apartment and saved some of it to my bank account.

"Hello, you must be Amika, right" a dark haired woman said with a smile while holding out her hand for me to shake it
" Yes I am Amika" I said equally with a smile and shook her hand
" Sign here and the car is yours" she said while holding out a form to me
" With pleasure" I said and then signed the form
" Congratulations, this baby is officially yours" She said cheering for me
It all felt like a dream to me, I was finally getting my first car
" I'll be off then, see ya around" she waved and I waved back
Just then I received a call from an unknown number
...
"Hello?" I said tense
" Miss Amika, Hellooo"A little voice siad
"Myra, how are you" I said with a chuckle
" I'm good but Daddy isn't" she said sadly

"What happened Myra?" I asked with worry
"My aunty wants to talk to you" she said
"Hello?" I said again
"Hello, this is Myra's aunty and Lucas's step sister, Everly" she said sounding like she was crying
"Hello Everly, I'm Amika the woman wh-"
"The woman who took Myra in while she was missing yestarday and took very great care of her, yeah Myra wouldn't stop talking about you" she said softly chuckling while
"Yes I am she," I chuckled as well
"Well, I am actually asking for a favour," she said
"Sure, what is it" I asked
"Could you please take care of Myra for a few days, please" she said while sounding like she was going to cry
" Yes of course, but is there anything wrong" I asked worriedly
"I'll tell you when I get there, I can't talk in front of Myra," she said
"Ok I'll be waiting" I said

With that I cut the call and started to think what could have been wrong.....Did something happen to Lucas

Myra and Everly got here about 15 minutes after the call and immediately Myra saw me standing outside the restaurant she came running to me

" Miss Amikkkkaa" She said while jumping into my arms
I chuckled while holding her in my arms
"Hey Myra, I really missed you baby"I said while hugging her and kissing her forehead

I put her down so that I could greet Everly
"Hi I'm Amika, it's nice to meet you" I said with a smile
"Hi I'm Everly, and Likewise" she said with a smaller smile
She had a tear marks and was visibly tired
"Please come inside, we'll talk from there" I said while putting my hand on her shoulder as reassurance.
...
"And just this morning, I received a call from the hospital telling me that..that he was in an accident..." Everly broke down in my arms for the third time. Not that I minded.

My Heart dropped when I heard that Lucas was in an accident, I was already worried about him when I found him in his car with bruises but now.....I don't even know how Myra was going to react

"Oh My God, I'm so...., I'm so sorry..." I said with tears forming in my own eyes, I was begginning to like him and when life sees you happy...

it takes that happiness away

"The doctors told me that they have managed to stabilise him and he would be unconscious for altlest a few days" she said while wiping her tears away

Thankfully Myra wasn't here to see this, I had put her in the play area and she was happily playing with some dolls...

"Don't worry, we have to be strong for him and for Myra,I'm sure he'll be fine" I reassured her

"You're right, we have to be strong, thank you so much Amika, for letting us come here" She said
"It's really no problem" I said
"Myra will be really excited, she doesn't know that she will be here for a sleepover" she said happily
I chuckled
"Let's go and tell her now" I said
...
We found Myra playing in princesses in the play area,
"Myra..."Everly called her
"Yes aunty Everwy"she said cutely

"Aunty Everly will have to go away and see daddy because he is not feeling very well" she said to her while bending to her level
"Oh no, is daddy okay?" she asked with a small voice
"Yes, daddy is okay, he is just sleeping at the hospital for a bit till he gets better" she said trying to make this as child friendly as possible
" Okay" she said while still looking a bit sad
"So in the meantime while aunty goes to to
the hospital, You're going to have a sleepover with Miss Amika again"
"Yayyyyyy we're going to have so much funnnnn" she said happily
Everly and I both chuckled
"Okay I'll be off then, bye bye Myra Love, she said while bending to her level and kissing her nose, Bye Amika" she said while hugging me
With that we went outside to get some of Myra's clothes and toys and Everly left for the hospital
"Guess what Myra?" I said
"Whatt?" She asked with excitement
" I got a brand new carr" I said happily
" Yaayyy, so does that mean you're going to dwive around sometimes" she asked
"Sometimes yes, but right now let's get your stuff into the car" I asked
I opened the trunk and put her stuff in the car and she got her stuffed rabbit and held it.
I checked the time, 5pm....

Since I had nothing planned I decided that we would go out for a little while
"Hey Myra, what do say about some ice cream" I said
"Ice cream!. Ice cream!..Ice cream" she cheered
I chuckled,
"Let's go then" I said while opening my car and letting Myra inside
I sat in the drivers seat and we drove away
...
We were currently in the ice cream store selecting what flavoured ice cream we would have
Myra seemed to be having a very hard time choosing what ice cream we would have....I don't blame her
There are SO many good ice cream flavours here
"Hey Myra ,have you decided what ice cream flavour you're going to have ...." I asked her while eyeing the refrigerator that had ice cream bars

What, they're so freaking delicious
"Yupp, I'm going to have a chocolatevanillastrawbewwy ice cream sandwich" she said all in one breath
I laughed at her,
"Okay, let's go and get it" I said
"What are you having Miss Amika..." she asked cutely

" Hmmm, I think I'll have a.....an ice cream bar, I love those alot" I said while walking with Myra
"Daddy loves those alot too, maybe when he gets better when can all come here and get some with him" she says looking up at me while smiling
"Yes , Maybe" I returned her smile as well
...
A few minutes later we were outside finishing up on our ice creams except Myra took a few bites of mine
"Hey no fair, " I said while pouting and faking a sad face
"Hmmm, she said in fake thinking, maybe , you could have a bite of mine" she said while offering me a spoon of of all three flavours of ice cream she had
I took a bite as soon as she brought it near to my mouth
she giggled
"You're really silly..." she said while giggling
I joined in the laughter as well
...
Now we were shopping for some groceries since my fridge was practically empty

I asked Myra if she was tired and wanted so sit in the shopping cart, but she refused saying" I'm a big girl now, only little girls sit in the shopping cart" making me laugh

Right now we were in the snacks aisle. Since we needed some snacks, Myra was mostly picking those out, since she begged me to let her help

Now we were in the fruits and veggie ailes
" Blueberries..., Check
" Apples...., Check
"Oranges....Check
"Lettuce...Check
"Bananas....Check

"I guess we're done with everything on our list, " I said while ticking the last thing I had on our list
"Waittttttt......we forgot one last thing on our list" Myra suddenly said
" What is it" I said while trying to check what was missing
"It's not on the list...." she said
" Oh, then what is it...."
" Let's go to the sweets aisle" she said while holding my hand
"Okayy"
...
Soon we were at the sweets aisle and Myra seemed to be looking for one specific thing
"Found ittt..." she said while holding a special kind of chocolate bar in her hand
" Good Chocolate for Good Luck, Daddy always said that when was doing work or somebody got sick, so maybe the Daddy will get better soon if he has some good luck" Myra said

I found myself tearing up at the sincerity of this child, she was so sensible and thoughtful for her age. I hugged her really tightly and whispered in her ear
"Daddy will be okay, I promise " I said while gently stroking her hair
"You think so?"
"Nope, I know so..."
" Now let's go and pay so we can go home and watch Sofia the First..."
"And Elena..?" she asked happily
"And Elena.." I chuckled
