Oh dear.

Oh dear.

Oh deary deary me.

It looks as if we have another person that I can call bullsh*t on. Lovely.

So guys, I'm sure you saw the lovely presentation by the great Frame Industries today. It's going to be fun picking apart this one. Basically, if you didn't hear the talk, don't read this, because it won't make sense. If you were at the girls' talk instead of the boys', that's fine too, you can learn, because learning is fun.
Anyway, I shall point out three things wrong with this presentation, and for each point I will award extra rubbish points based on how stupidly they failed. Let's go.

Point 1: Failure to cite sources.
Now, if you were in Mr Mac's class this year, you may be annoyed at how much he forces us to source. Don't be, because if you don't source correctly, you could end up like Frame Initiatives, and have your opinions taken with a grain of salt. You see, in our talk about respecting women, our presenter cited the 'facts', '1 in 4 women are raped', '1 in 2 girls are sexually assaulted in schools every year' etc. The main problem with this is that you fail to define what those facts are, for example, are six year old girls sexually assaulted in schools, or is it just the old ones? Plus, Frame Initiatives, you failed to cite your sources properly, you only cited a website, which could lead to absolutely any article if I typed it in, you need to provide a specific web link if you want your opinion to be worth more than a grain of salt.

Extra rubbish points: This company presumes itself to be for gender equality, yet one thing that is strange is the fact that the boys' talk was called, "Respecting Women", while the girls' one was called, "Respecting Yourself". Shouldn't there have been a respecting men class as well if you wanted gender equality? Oh yeah, you forgot about that, oops.

2. The Picture
The presenter showed us a picture from a tumblr ranter's blog, it was a selfie, and the caption was, "You see my boobs, hair and makeup, but you do not see my scar, my abusive relationship or my eating disorder." I get the sentiment, but no. Firstly, she's wearing a really tight shirt, and she's got her chest puffed out, if she didn't want us to look at her breasts, she wouldn't have done that. For most girls, I don't look at their breasts, because they were normal sized shirts. Also, if you don't want me to see your hair, don't cover up half your face with it. And, if you want me to see your scar, don't cover it up with makeup. And if you want us to see your abusive relationship, well, you're slightly crazy, we can't actually see abusive relationships, that requires us to talk to you, which would be difficult considering you are this stupid.

Extra rubbish points: This presenter cites a tumblr blog to prove his point, which is the epitome of having no actual sources to prove your point.

3. The Part Where I Stopped Listening
The presenter says, "Women are obviously the victims in society, their biggest dangers are men, and they earn 1 million dollars less over their lifetime." In the first part of this statement, he cites a source from a comedian. I don't know why you need to cite your sources from a comedian, because last time I checked, they weren't the sharpest tools in the shed. Remember, so far this guy has not produced any legitimate sources, his opinion should be taken with a grain of salt. The second part of that sentence, the wage gap thing, is also bad sourcing. You need to use a study that uses rough statistics from another study published thirty years ago under a biased government, and also requiring that study to be from a different country. Why can't you just use a source from our country? Or are there no sources that help your cause that come from Australia. Although I don't know which study he derived this opinion from, because again, he fails to cite the source.

Extra rubbish points: The presenter fails to have a basic understanding of economics to understand a first world economy can not be sustained if a large discriminatory wage gap exists.

I stopped listening after that, simply looking at the stained glass windows, which are incredibly beautiful, you should look at them more often.

So there we go, what we've learned today is that this company should not have their opinion taken seriously, and that we should live our lives just the way we did before. Although I get one thing out of this, the fact that I was right all along, I knew they were going to call us all rapists, or something very similar to that.

Goodbye everyone, I will see you in the next chapter!
