Jina's day was a disaster.

She woke up at 9:45 a.m. for an important meeting she had at 10. Jina rushed out of bed with her messy hair sticking out at awkward angles. She swore deliberately to herself that she'd do well and help her company get the prestigious contract.

But now she wasn't too sure about that.

If it weren't for the fact that she was an important part of the meeting and was the one who had all the essential files.

That's how the day began for her. She had to stay overnight to complete the presentation due in less than 6 hours.

When she got out of her house, it was already late. She had planned to go by bus but had already missed every single one. There were no other choices left than walking at that point, as she had given her car for service just the day before.

She stuffed a loaf of bread in her mouth and carried a juice carton in her other hand as she wore her heels and rushed out.

Just as the warm breeze hit her, she noticed someone's presence.

"Need a ride?"

She looked to see who it was. It was Jungkook, standing near his car in front of his house. He was leaning on his car and wore an expression that made her think he knew she would be late.

Jina had to look at him twice to make sure she wasn't hallucinating. He was so handsome in his formal attire. The suit and tie made him look much more attractive.

Jungkook noticed how her eyes were scanning him and stood there, enjoying all the attention he got. "If you are done staring, tell me," he said while smirking, making her snap out of it.

"W-what was it again?" She stuttered slightly, looking at him, thoroughly embarrassed.

"Do you need a ride? You look like you might need one," he repeated patiently while waiting for her answer.

Jina thought about it for a minute. "Do you know where I have to go?" she asked curiously as he chuckled. "I do; I have to attend a meeting at your company today," he said as he got in the car. "Hop in," he said, enjoying looking at her perplexed face.

"You- so what does that mean-"

"Yes, Jina, I am the head of the Jeon company you are going to present to today. It wouldn't matter if you were late this way."

"I thought you were an employee," she whispered as she walked near him hesitantly. He thought for a moment and stared at her watch; it was five past 10 in the morning.

"Thank you; I'll er- be happy to."

Jungkook smiled as he got in his car. Jina awkwardly looked at the mirror sideways and fixed her hair. She looked down and avoided eye contact with Jungkook, who looked by his side multiple times to make sure she was comfortable.

'How embarrassing,' she thought as she gnawed on her lips.

'Madwoman,' Jungkook thought as he smiled. 'I like it.'
