Today was the day I would face all my darkest nightmares from the last two weeks, home. I couldn't even look at the barn or even Stormfly. I couldn't even look at her without tears starting in my eyes. I walked up to my room amd stared at the floor, what else could I do? Homework, like I'm not in the mood to do algebra, nor advanced chemistry. I didn't want to think, the only thing I could think of was hiccup, horses, and school. And let's face it all those things equaled to one another.

The next day

I woke the sound of my little sister screaming like a hyena." Come on hazel... Really." I whisper to myself. I drag myself out of bed and go to the dresser to find my old ripped jeans and smiley face t shirt, I was hoping if my shirt said I was happy then maybe people would think I was happy. I looked in the mirror and there it was the tiny red burn on my forehead. I took my eyeliner out and began to put it on along with all that product to make you 'pretty'. I tied my hair in a quick ponytail and put in my best fake smile then ran down the stairs, maybe things would be okay today....

SURE enough everything was great. There may have been a great deal of sarcasm in that statement. As soon as arrived everyone was already swarming me and asking me questions, god can't I get a break." LOOK everyone let's just treat this day like all the regular days. Quickly everyone left me and all was left was punzie...." Punzie what happened to your hair?" I asked as I started touching it." My hairdresser she cut it.." She said a little upset.it was short and brown..." I told her the regular and she thought this was the regular.... I'm sorry this is the least of the problems, are you alright ?"" I'm fine."" Are you still coming to the dance."This is when I thought...
Why can't I go and have fun for one night and just enjoy the dance.
" yeah... I'll go.. Why not." I let a real smile appear for a split second." YAY oh anna will be soo happy to hear that. She has been wanting you to come for sooo long." She cheered." Yeah let's just hope something good will happen from this ."
" come one the dance is tomorrow let's go tell them we are going."
Later on that day I was in advanced chemistry when someone approached me.
" I'm fine." I say not even looking at the person." How did you know that was what I was going to ask?" The voice said with a tiny chuckle at the end." What do you want hiccup." I asked my voice filled with annoyance." I was just wondering if you wanted to go to the dance with me ?" He asked so calmly." Don't you have a girlfriend for that." I snarled." Yeah but I like you." He said passionately." Well you had your shot but you blew it by being... You.... Just don't play me like this." I said as I started to gather my books." I'm- I'm not trying too , I'm just wanting to go with you." He said basically begging this time, this was cute why can't he do this more often." Really then prove it." I walked out, and I might I just add like a boss to my locker." Sooooooo has anyone asked you to the dance yettttt." Anna said approaching me." Yeah but not in to it." I said coldly." Ohhh come on." Anna whined." Come onnnn anna I'm actually going to the dance don't try and convince me not to go." I copied her tone." Okay fine." She smiled and hoped over to her boyfriend." Crazy girl." I laughed as I grabbed my books.
