It's been a couple of days since the dance, I was at home binge watching my favorite Anime on my laptop; that I recently brought that was originally meant for school work; since I didn't feel like studying today and I was tired from my job at Maid Latte Café. I was wearing an oversized sweatshirt of [favorite anime] with shorts underneath while hugging my gifted plush.

"Sheesh, when is mom going to come back home... I'm starving. I really hope she didn't get distracted with no sweepstakes magazines." I then paused my anime and began to head out of my room, the light of the hallway blinding me since I had all the lights in my room off. Suddenly I heard the door unlock in my house, I could hear my mom talking to someone, maybe she was on the phone. I quickly made my way down the stairs making my way into the kithchen "You're finally home mom! I was starv—" I was silenced by a tall blonde figure "Usui?! What are you doing in my house!"

"Oh do you two know each other?? Usui here helped me carry the bags! Isn't he just a gentlemen!" Suddenly my mom came next to me a spoke in a whisper "I wouldn't mind it if he becomes my son-in-law" I felt my mom nudged my shoulders and I instantly blushed bright pink.

"No way mom!"

"Well.. I guess I should head out now." Usui was about to leave but then my mom stopped him.

"Oh no! Please, stay for dinner! It's the least I could do to thank you for your help" I looked at my mom smiling over at Usui, she looked so insistent on making him stay for dinner. "My lovely daughter will even help make your own portion"

"Well with such an offer, I simply can't refuse" Usui smirked and looked over at me, I continued to blush and then I blushed even more that he saw me in my attire! I don't want anyone knowing I watch anime! He has so much against me now!!

"Fine! But let me change!!" I ran out of the kitchen and as soon as I did the floorboard where I stepped broke yet again, this time because I didn't notice I fell facedown on the floor.

"My goodness! (Y/N), honey! Are you alright?!" My mom rushed over and helped me up along with Usui.

"Y-Yeah, I'm fine. These floorboards I sturdy, someone has to fix these.." I rubbed my forehead and my nose right after, they were beginning to hurt.

"I can fix it" Usui suddenly walked over to the floorboard and examined them.

"Oh no! We can't have our guest suddenly fix our house"

"I don't mind really"

"You really are a kind person" My mom simply smiled at him, I just stood there looking at them and then suddenly my nose began to bleed. "(Y/N)!!! You're nose!!" My mom began to panic and quickly take my upstairs to get patched up.

Time passed my nose and forehead had a large bandage around them, I was all changed up into some leggings and a plain light blue shirt and I was now with my mom in the kitchen. We were going to eat a pork cutlet bowl for today, I was helping her deep fry the pork cutlet. I looked over at Usui who was fixing the gaps on the floor. Though I can sense my mom was planning something mischievous.

"How do you two know each other (Y/N)? Has he confessed his love for you?! Is that why you're so embarrassed that he saw you with your anime stuff" My mom kept nudging me, I began to feel annoying with her constant nudging.

"I-It's not that! We're just currently in the same class... Is all" I didn't want to tell her that I've known him since middle school, it might even trigger her.

"Ohhhhh! So are you interested in him?"

My face turned crimson red with her sudden question "Mom!!" I raised up an egg that I got from the egg carton and she ran giggling avoiding me. We both just ended up laughing, I caught a glimpse of Usui who just looked at us with a smile on his face.

We finally finished setting up the table and we all sat down finally, my mom constantly asking Usui random questions. I just ate being embarrassed from my mom as she was clearly trying to hook us up!

"It's been a while since I had a home cooked meal. It was really good thank you so much" Usui placed his eating utensils down and looked over at my mom with a soft smile.

"Aww, you're welcome Usui. I certainly wouldn't mind if you passed by for dinner every once in a while. Food taste better when you're with the ones you care about, or simply enjoying it with others." I looked over at my mom who had seemed to enjoy the company of Usui. I don't really bring friends often, I never found a reason to invite anyone really. "Well you should really head home now! It's getting awfully dark now! I'll clean up!"

Usui bowed his head and began to head out, I followed behind him for a bit. "Now look who the stalker is"

"S-Shut up! I'm simply joining you halfway because my mom asked me too!"

"You don't have to, If anything it should be the other way around"

"Well too bad!" I walked beside him, it was completely silent for a while until I spoke in a monotone voice "Thank you..."

"Hm? Did you say something?"

I clenched my fists, I didn't want to repeat myself as I was already embarrassed to say it in the first place. "I-I said thank you! I hadn't seen my mom that happy to receive company since we isolated ourselves from the rest of the family.."

I felt him place a hand on my head "It's fine, if anything I should be thanking you guys for the trouble. I can see you and your mom care for each other a lot. I even noticed some bruises on her.."

"Yeah... We've been through a lot. Honestly that experience has made me not want to get married at all! Like men just hurt you and use you.."

"If you stay in that mindset you'll miss out on the one person who really loves you for who you are."

I chuckled and looked up at him "As if anyone would love someone like me. I'm too complicated to be with. I doubt anyone could handle me. And I'm not into anyone right now." I continued to walk, but Usui stayed back I noticed and looked back at him curiously as to why he stopped.

"Is that a challenge? I could totally make you love me"

"Shut up you perverted weirdo. Just head home now! I've walked you far enough!"

"Wooow you're so harsh (L/N)" He looked as if he was pouting and continued to walk seeing him wave "See you tomorrow"

"Yeah, Get home safe!" I then turned around and made my way back home only to find my mom patiently waiting by the door.

"Soooo, did you guys kiss?"

"MOM!!! Geez! We're not going to date! He doesn't like me and I don't like him either!"

"Awwww come on! I want a son in law and grandkids in the future!"

I walked in blushing and she continued to bug me about how I should marry Usui for the rest of the night. As if that's ever going to happen! No way! I'm not letting it. Then suddenly I remember what he said about finding the one that will love me for me, would anyone really fall for me. I'm such a mess. There is no way. Oh well, I'm going to continue binge watching anime!
