Janvi pov

My world stopped recognizing it.

No.

I opened the door and see, but no one is there.

No one knows about it other than me.

"Jaan" I heard Adith's voice.

I get into the apartment and closed the door with a puzzled look.

Again I heard my phone's message sound. Before I could open it Adi called me again. "Who is at door?"

"Maybe Adam"

"Are you okay?" He asked with a concerned look

"Ha?"

"Why do you look pale? Are you alright? Do you have a fever? Can I take you to the hospital?" He bombarded me with questions.

"No Adi, I am fine. Just..... just...." I took a deep breath, "nothing. Fresh up, I will make breakfast"

"Are you sure?" He questioned me looking into my eyes.

"Yes"

"Do you want to share something with me?"

"No Adi. Come quickly" saying that I went to the kitchen to cook us breakfast. I know even if I stand there for a minute he will extract his answers from me.

I don't want anyone to know about that me. I want it to be only as of the past. But now I am afraid that it will affect my future with my man. I want to know who might send that message to me, maybe later I have to investigate it.

Breaking my thoughts I started preparing the breakfast, chicken curry, and chapatti with grape juice. I want to give Adi healthy dishes as he is not taking care of him these days.

While preparing it Adi came to the kitchen, I handed him his black coffee and resumed my work.

"Jaan, we are leaving today night at 9 pm"

This made me stop in my tracks.

"But...... Okay," I said sadly.

"I know you want to be here for long, but I have some work in India. So we have to be there soon. I will take you here some other time"

"Okay"

I still have just 13hours to be with Adam.

Later I went out with Adi, Adam, and Tom to the park opposite our apartment as Adam wanted to play with me and Tom, whereas my husband is busy with his mobile sitting on the bench. I ignored him, he won't ever hear me when it comes to his business.

"I am not talking to you Javi," Adam said interrupting my thoughts.

"Why little boy?" "And I don't like him," he said pointing to Adi.

"You don't like him?" I asked him sadly.

"Yes," he said and sat on the grass floor.

"Why?"

"Because of him you are not playing with me," he said showing his sad face to which Tom barked supporting him. These two are very badly more than best friends.

"But I am playing with you?" I said in the same sad tone he used.

"You are playing with me but you always look at him while we play. You are not playing with me all the time" he complained about his childish voice.

Jealousy I say.

"Aww my cute little boy," I said pinching his both chubby cheeks and kissed him, "I am sorry"

"I am glad that I get your attention more than this little man," said Adi from my back. I turned to see him, he is smirking.

"Keep dreaming Dev. I am not watching you forgetting my Adam, I am watching whether his parents reached home or not" I fibbed managing the truth that I am seeing him. "I am hurt," he said conjuring hurt.

"Ok let's go back, I have ordered food and we have to go back to our home," he said making my face fall.

"Javi you are leaving?" Adam asked me with tears in his eyes.

I hate seeing him cry. I sat on his level and hugged him.

"I am sorry Adam"

"Don't worry Adam, we will visit you more often whenever your Janvi wants to see you?" Adi said making me shocked.

Does he agree to take me here whenever I want to see Adam?

I looked at him not believing his words. Am I hearing wrong?

"You heard me correct Jaan, I will take you to him whenever you want to see him" he never averted his gaze from me.

"Then daily ask him to take you to me. I will see you daily" Adam make us broke our eye contact making me laugh at his thoughts.

I giggled and hugged him tightly.

"I will miss you, my little boy"

"I miss you too Javi," he said hugging me back. Then Tom came in between us and barked making me laugh. I missed these two cuties and their mischief.

Then we went to our apartment to have food and bid bye to Adam. He cried a lot and never ready to leave me. So we both waited for him to slumber. Once he slept I gave him to his mother and kissed his head and hugged Tom once more and went back to the house we were yesterday.

Later at night, we both went to the Airport and get into his private jet to return home. After a long 9 hours of travel, we landed in Mumbai at 3 pm. We both didn't sleep as he is busy with his work and I accompanied him.

This time he took me to his residence. Seeing the gate my heart fell into sadness as the past came in front of me. But I didn't speak anything seeing his happy face.

As we both went into the house, there came an awkward silence between us. So I started to make my way towards the steps and climbed up to go to my room.

"Where are you going Janvi?" I heard his voice.

"To my....my.....my room," I said shuttering.

"Why Jaan?" "N..nothing... Just..." He cut me in the middle.

"You don't want to be with me?" He asked in a broken tone.

"No, I don't want to be in the room where you spend nights with your girlfriends," I said angrily.

"But Jaa..."

"I can't Adi, try to understand me. How can I sleep on the same bed where you slept with those girls? I feel disgusting to even enter that rooms" I shouted.

He keeps on looking at me for a few seconds, then he came to me and grabbed me, and walked to his room.

"I will not come there if you want you can come to my room," I said struggling to get out of his hand.

"Just keep quiet Janvi," he said.

"No," I said and hold the railing of the steps which made him stop in his tracks.

"Leave it" he ordered me.

"No"

"Leave it Janvi"

"No no no and no", I said stubbornly. He left my left hand and started to take my right hand from the railing so I hold it hard.

" you won't listen to me?" He asked me with a straight face. I shook my head in no.

"Then I have no other way" I gave him a chaotic look.

He bends down and picked me off the floor and took me in bridal style making me off guard, which made me lose my hands-on railings.

He held me closer to his chest again which made my eyes wide in shock.

"What... What...are...are you doing?"

"Helping you Jaan," he said with a smirk looking into my eyes. I can't even blink my eyes while looking into those grey orbs, it's like I am captivated by those mesmerizing eyes.

He started to walk while I never left my eyes away from his which is looking straight.

He opened the door making me move my gaze away from his face. I look into the room to find it different. He placed me on the floor. It's not his room. I know his room, I never went in but I know it's not his room.

Turning to see him, he smiles at me and gestured to go inside. So I moved into this beautiful room. It's really beautiful in grey and black, with an amazing view through the big glass window.

I feel his presence at my back.

"This is my room before but now it's ours"

"Then that room?"

"Which room?" He asked as if he doesn't know what I meant.

"You know Adi" I am still not facing him.

"This is my room Janvi, all other rooms are just a room"

I stayed silent as tears made their way.

He turned me around by my shoulders and wiped my tears.

"I never brought any girls to this room. You are the first and you will be the last one too" his eyes held truth.

I don't know what to say to him so I kept silent.

He went to his closet leaving me to look at this room keenly. The bed is placed at the center of the room with black, white, and grey blankets. A big 65 inch Tv is just placed opposite the bed in the glass. A big sofa at the right nook of the room.

"Jaan" he called me.

"Mm?"

"Can you please wear this tonight? I want to take you somewhere" he asked hesitantly showing a shopping bag. How can I not say no?

"Mmm ok," I said taking the bag from him.

"Take rest I will be back at 9 pm"

"But you too didn't rest" I remained him.

"I know Jaan, but the work I am going to do is much more important to me than my sleep," he said and walked out.

Him and his work.

I lied on the bed and fallen into my dreamland.

"Janvi" I felt someone tapping my shoulder, I pushed their hand.

"Let me sleep" "Jaan we will get late"

Adi!!!

I stood up shortly adjusting my dress and hair.

He chuckled seeing me. Idiot.

"Get ready soon Jaan"

I took a bath and changed into the robe and look out to see the room empty. He is not there. So I quickly went to the closet and opened the bag he gave me. It's a casual outfit.

I put vermillion and braided my hair and get down to see my handsome man sitting on the couch tapping his feet impatiently. He looks hot in his t-shirt with sleeves rolled and jeans.

Once I climbed down he saw me with wide eyes like not believing what he is seeing

"What happened?" I asked confusingly.

"You look stunning Jaan," he said showing his perfect teeth. "Credit goes to the one who chose this outfit"

"That means you should appreciate me," he said proudly.

"Is it? But I don't like it. Can I change it?" I wanted to tease him.

"You can if you don't like it," he said sadly.

I hit his head lightly, "idiot I like it"

"It's okay Jaan you can change it, don't need to lie to me"

"You don't believe me?" I asked him.

"I don't want to repeat the mistake"

"So what about now?" I inquired raising my eyebrows

"You like this dress," he said.

"You are a tough man to deal with Adi. Come we are getting late, it's already 9.23"

"Yes," he chuckled and bend down to take his brown jacket and wore it.

"Come let's go," he said and went out.

"Wait here I will come" I nodded.

A few seconds later, Adi came in a bike that too dukes bike with a helmet and gloves on. Are we going on this bike? Bike?

Am I going with Adi on a bike?

That to my dream bike DUKE? I have always loved bikes.

Am I dreaming?

"Climb on Janvi"

"Are we going on this?" I asked unsure pointing at the bike.

"Don't disrespect my girlfriend Jaan, she will get angry?" he said with fake anger and gave me a helmet.

"But....." I never went on a bike.

"Trust me Jaan," he said with full confidence. I nodded.

"Put your legs on both sides and sit, hold my shoulders for grip"

I followed his instructions and finally done.

"Hold me Janvi"

"It's okay" I managed.

"Hold me it's a long ride"

"It's okay I will manage"

"Your wish," he said with a smirk and roared the bike off the house. At first, speed is low, but once we reached highways he started to raise the speed more and more. I can't sit steadily if he maintains on to continue this speed.

I hit his back, "go slow"

He never responded but I know he heard me. So I hit him again.

"I said go slow" again silence. This time I hit him hard.

"Idiot slow down or I will fall" I shouted gripping his coat.

He stopped the bike sideways and removed the helmet.

"What?" He asked like my words didn't reach his ears.

"I asked you to slow down"

"But I am driving very slowly Jaan"

"You lying idiot. Is this slow? I will go back, I don't ever come with you again" I said and removed my helmet.

"Janvi wait," he said.

"Why should I?"

"Just wear the helmet I will tell you"

"No, I won't"

"Please Jaan" he pleaded slightly turning to me. I wore it.

"Now give me your hand"

"Why?" "We are getting late Janvi, be quick" I give up.

He took my hands and made me hug him from the back making my eyes go wide.

"Adi" I whispered.

"Now you won't be in fear," he said and ignited the bike to maintain the same high speed, I hugged him tightly by placing my head on his back which made him stiffen but came back to normal within few seconds. I smiled at this and started to feel the cold breeze that touches my warm skin.

As always I want to stay like this forever and want the time to freeze in the very same second.

I closed my eyes with a smile plastering on my face due to the peace in my heart and soul. I never thought that I will have someone for me who will accept me unlike my parents did.

Thinking of them I felt my heart is heavy with guilt and sadness, maybe they were right? Adi is facing all these just because of me? A loud horn broke my thoughts.

The journey seems very short but we have been traveling for an hour. With him, my time seems very short.

"Where are we going?"

"A place where you will surely love," he said placing his hand on my hands which is around him.

I hummed.

After half an hour we are near a small hill which is vague due to the dense wilderness. I got down the bike removing the helmet and look at the trees which are tall and very dense. The only source here is the shining half-moon which is accompanied by some twinkling stars, they are visible as the clouds are clear.

My question is why we are here?

"Shall we?" He smiled at me.

"It's so dark"

"I will make sure to keep you safe with my life" I looked down at his words. He took my hand in his and started to walk into the trees. The path is very rough with hard stones and roots of trees. Birds and insects are making sounds to indicate their presence.

Snakes?

It's a forest I am sure snakes will be here definitely. I hold his hands hard thinking of the snakes.

"It's okay, it's okay" he assured by placing his other hand on our hands. I nodded with a smile telling him 'i am okay'. After a few minutes, we reached a dark plane land. But I can't see anything due to the darkness.

"Are you ready?" He asked with excitement.

"Yes," I said.

"Count 3 slowly"

I looked at him again, he asked me to continue by his eyes.

"3," I said. As I finished the counts the place around me is lit with lanterns, it's like the place is a plane with a small road that leads the way to somewhere.

"Follow the lights Janvi," he said from my back. I did.

With my every step a lantern is lited up making me smile wide. As I took another step the whole place glows with decorative lights making my smile widen.

There, in front of me is a beautiful house which is a two-story building made up of woods in between tall and dense trees.

Woww.

It's, amazingly, fabulously awesome😍😍. The surrounding is peaceful and calm. The whole place is full of fresh leaves which screams nature.

"Do you like it?" I heard Adi's voice on the back of me whispering near my ears. I suddenly turned to him and looked into those lovely grey orbs.

"Loved it" I smiled.

"Let's go inside," he said and took me inside the cottage. It had a small living area and a kitchen at the end with a small dining table for two peoples.

"Janvi I placed a dress on the upstairs on the bedroom, can you please wear it and come soon?" He asked rubbing his back of his neck.

"Okay get ready soon you have 15 minutes. Please be soon" he said and went out without hearing me. This man is impossible to understand. I climbed up to be greeted with a large bedroom. A box is placed on the bed with a note in it.

Grace me with your presence with this beautiful dress.

I smiled at this tone and opened the box. It's a beautiful royal blue gown with net sleeves till the elbow. I instantly fall in love with it.

I wore it, it hugs me perfectly at all places. I applied lipgloss and put my hair in a ponytail. Also, I wore matching shoes. Once satisfied with my look I went down thinking deeply about what he might have planned now.

As I got down I see my Adi putting on his blazer suit above the white t-shirt with blue jeans. The blazer is the same color as mine. He looks dashingly hot and handsome. My man.

He wore his button and look up to see me. Once his eyes landed on me he stopped in his tracks looking at me intensely. I lowered my eyes avoiding his gaze.

He took a few strides and stood in front of me. "Gorgeous," he said taking my hand in his.

"I... I... Thanks. And you too look good" he said with a blush.

"Mmmm let's go," he said to take me out of the house. I am just following his tracks wherever he goes. He showed me a piece of cloth.

"Not again Adi," I said sadly.

"You won't be disappointed with the surprise," he said and blindfolded me.

He takes me by holding my hands and stopped after a few steps.

"Ready?" He asked I nodded my head, "yes"

He removed the cloth, my eyes shined in the scene in front of me.

It's decorated beautifully with lamps and a table for couples at the center of it.

"Lead the way, my lady," he said and I did as he said. As I sat at the table he asked me to wait and he went into the house. He came back with a box hidden with a cloth in it.

"Again close your eyes"

"No. Not doing again"

"Last time. Please" he pleaded. I closed my eyes. Feb a few seconds later, "open slowly," he said and I opened slowly.

It's a cake It's a cake. But why? I looked at the top.

Happy birthday My JAAN

A tear rolled down my cheek seeing it.

My birthday?

He gave me a knife and asked me to cut it.

"I can't"

"Please just for me" he nearly begged. I cut the cake and feed him. I never spoke a word after seeing the cake.

He stood up and came to me to sit on his knees. "Can I have a dance with this beautiful women?"

"I don't.... don't know" I stumbled.

"Let me help you," he said taking my hands and played a romantic song on his mobile.

Placing my right hand on his shoulder and left hand in his hands, he kept his left hand on my waist. He pulled me close to him reducing the distance. He removed my hairband from my hair making it fall loose.

Leaning very close to me without taking his eyes off mine, he tugged a loose strand of my hair behind my ear, he kissed my cheek making me shiver in his touch and hold his shoulder tightly through the blazer and blazer my eyes shut.

He stayed idly for a few seconds without taking his lips off my cheeks.

"Happy Birthday Jaan" he whispered against my cheeks. Hearing him I let out a sob and hugged him tightly to let out my tears fall freely.

"I am sorry for saying those words Jaan. You are not an orphan, I will always be with you even after my death and end of the universe" he murmured hugging me.

"Why are you doing this Adi? Never a single person did these to me.

I have never celebrated my birthday in my life. Not even a single person knows my birth date, even if they know they won't mind it. You are the first one to wish me a birthday and also the first one to celebrate it.

You are the one who hurt me to the core and now you are trying to making me feel things which I always wanted to feel.

You are making me drown in guilty by doing all these." I said breaking the hug.
