you already know how much i adore chuuatsu and atsulucy, but CHUULUCY?!??? im so ashamed that i havent thought of it until now, because it would be........... adorable. theyre both angry redheads, but i feel like chuuya would just be so nice and polite and caring towards her?!?? and lucy would be a bit snarky with him at times, but she would also be so genuinely kind???????????? add atsushi to the mix and you have three people who are all some of the kindest bsd characters, in my humble opinion

this relationship would just be so, SO sweet. again — theyre all just so nice. i definitely feel like lucy would be the grumpy one in the relationship, but chuuya and atsushi would ground her — she could be ranting about all the people who have wronged her and the things she'd like to do to them in graphic detail, and they would just pat her head and smile. they think shes adorable (and theyre right!!). but when they feel exhausted and troubled and overwhelmed, its her turn to do the same for them. she makes them tea and hugs them awkwardly until they feel better :)

chuuya would def be the more mature one, who can get angry, sure, but never at them. he's mostly just tired. hold him and run your fingers through his hair and hes happy as can be. hes so used to violent, loud, annoying people, and all he really wants is some ground to stand on, and a place to come home to, which they happily provide. i feel like he'd be overprotective as hell too, mostly because he doesnt want them to leave (like everyone else... god dammit dazai, look what you did, you gave him abandonment issues) chuuya would be the resident cook, i think, because lucy cant cook for shit and atsushi tries and fails. he makes them coffee every morning without fail

and atsushi? atsushi is the anchor, the glue that ties them all together. hes so naturally sweet and soothing, and makes everything a little bit better just by existing. if anything, his only flaws are his deeply-rooted feelings of inadequacy. he tries so, so hard to be the perfect partner to both of them, which usually just ends with him feeling unworthy of their love (because theyre both so radiant, and hes just plain old atsushi). but they reassure him, and comfort him, and make sure he knows how happy he makes them. atsushi is perfect without even trying fr

but yes. they all deserve to be happy. their relationship would be comforting and calm and nurturing, like a cup of tea and a warm hug and autumn. theres something about them that just makes me so happy? stan all three of them
