I reached the house, and stood before the door. I heard something shuffling around inside, hopefully it's just some animal. If not, well, if still got my gun. Gun trained on the door, I use my free hand to slowly open the door.

CREAAAKK

Slowly, I enter, but the shuffling stops. See? No one,  just paranoid Y/N. I lowered my gun a bit, and wondered a bit. All of a sudden, I'm pushed up against a wall, knife to my neck. 

"Woah, slow down buddy. At least take me to dinner first," I joke, "I'm joking, I can't actually eat anything."

"Ralph doesn't like visitors. Who are you?" 'Ralph' asked hurriedly.

With him paying attention to my upper body, I lifted my arm slowly to point my weapon at his stomach.

"I suggest you lower your weapon, Ralph, before you get a stomach full of lead."

The knife gets pushed harder against my throat, "Drop it." Silence. " DROP IT!" He roars.

My gun clatters to the floor, before I realize the LED on his temple. "Your an android too? I promise I wasn't trying to hurt you." My skin on my face peels back as I reveal the smooth glossy plastic beneath. "I was just looking for  a place to camp out tonight. I'll be out of your hair tomorrow."

The knife is removed from my neck, and I take a step to the side, where I can get a clear view of Ralph. He has a large gash on the left side of his face, stained with blue blood. He's also very jittery which I find odd, but pay it no mind. 

TIME JUMP: it's now morning.

I had taken to the upstairs bedroom last night, and I realized I should probably find different clothes to swap into. With the police probably looking for me, it would be good to change my appearance. Luckily, there was a closet with a jacket, a hoodie, and some jeans. Perfect. There was also a Detroit Gears cap on the floor. I took that too.

The stairs creaked under my weight. When I reached the bottom of the stairs, I headed for the door and left. No creepy android, no knife held against my throat again. Back to Jericho.

(A/N: wow this chapter was a pain to write. I'm so sorry it turned out like this 🥲 Anyways, the next chapter will be out very soon because I've had it in my drafts for a while. :))
