Rachel and Paige entered in the Command Room, where the rest of the Waddle Squad was waiting for them, looking as confused and worried as the two girls.

They all sat down and waited  for a few minutes, before Gary enters in the room, looking even more nervous than when Rachel first saw him this morning... Xir flippers were slightly shaking, and xe looked like xe really did NOT want to be here...

He walked between the table and the big screen on the wall, on which the Director appeared.

Director : Agents. Agent Gary and I finally got our flippers on the identity of the culprit of all the sabotages and the incidents that have been happening since a while now... If I might be honest with you, we already had a little idea on our minds, but... we refused to believe it.

The agents's eyes widened and their breath stopped for a while. Gary was looking at the floor, playing nervously with his sleeves.

Gary : ...The culprit is... Laura Glory.

JPG : And... Do you know them ?

Gary : ...She was... the Director, Rory and I's childhood best friend...

Rachel : Wait, you know the Director since YEARS ?!

Gary  : Yes. But we prefered to keep it a secret since it could be a big hint on the Director's identity. But in this case, this information needed to be revealed.

The Waddle Squad stayed silent as a reponse.

Director : Let me explain you the whole story and the reasons of their action...

It was in highschool that I met Laura... We were both in the same class, and she had difficulties with class. So I helped them, and I started to give them privates lesson at their igloo. We becamse close, and we started to hang out even when we didn't have any work to do. She was very grateful to me and did everything she could to pay me back in some way, even if I told them I didn't need any reward. However, she was always pretty stubborn and kept treating me like an idol. It was quite embarrassing to be honest.

And one day I decided to introduce them to my twoclosest friends : Gary and Rory. They immediatly got along very well, and we all had fun times together, helping eachothers and giving eachothers advices.

Everything was so... beautiful...

Too beautiful to be true.

In our last year of school, I've noticed Laura seemed... distant with me. She started to skip our meeting at the library to study together, and refusing every offers to hang out between friends.

But she also seemed like she absolutely wanted to surpass me. I could see the glaring she was throwing at me everytime I would get a better grade than them.

So I tried to talk to them one day and...

Laura : I've had enough of you thinking you are the smartest.

[REDACTED] : Wh-What ? I never said such a thing ! DId I do something wrong, something that made you think that ?

Laura : ...Stop acting like you don't know. Stop acting like you are a saint.

[REDACTED] : Laura, I am not acting ! I just want to know why your are being so distant ! You don't even want to study or hang out with us anymore !

Laura : I know you are going to distract me from my class. And I can't let you trick me like that.

[REDACTED] : EXCUSE ME ?! I never wanted to stop your from learning ! I just wanted to spend good time with you ! What is wrong with you ? Why do you accuse me of such things ?!

Laura : ...Since you've helped me with my class, everyone started to like you. Even my own friends started to leave me for you... You just helped me to make you look like a perfect girl, didn't you ? 

[REDACTED] gasped as their eyes widdened, refusing to believe what their friend just said.

[REDACTED] : ...Are you even listening to yourself ? How can you assume things like this ? Is it really how you see me ? An hypocrite who uses others for fame ?

Laura : Well, you took a scapegoat like Gary under your wings, putting your own reputation at risk. Who would do that if not to look good to the others students ?

[REDACTED] : ...I was wrong about you Laura. I thought you were a passionate, honest and clever person... But in reality, you are fake, selfish, with a brain full of prejudices.

Laura : EXCUSE ME ?!

[REDACTED] : You heard me well.

Laura : Okay you know what ?! Our oh so called "friendship" is over !

[REDACTED] : ...So be it.

The young penguin waddled away, and their now former friend said one last thing to them.

Laura : I WILL SHOW YOU ! I WILL BECOME BETTER THAN YOU, AND EXPOSE HOW FAKE YOU ARE !

Director : ...And so, we both entered in some type of competition, against my will. We both started our own agencies, and we both give our best to help the Island... Gary and I, to save the peace of Club Penguin. Them, for fame. 

The room went completely silent, the agents being still shocked, Gary being too nervous to talk, and the Director waiting for questions... And finally, the Gadget Guy spoke up, trying to keep his cool.

Gary : And so... after the recent events, the Director and I thought about the possibility Laura would have caused them and trying to frame us... But we refused to jump into conclusion... And also because Herbert was most likely to be the one trying to ruin the island.

Director : But we analyzed the hints you have found : the claw marks, the fur, the prints and even the pair of glasses you found while you were looking for Dot...

Gary : The fur, prints and claws marks are indeed from Herbert... But we found someone's else digital prints on them. And we found out those was old fur and claws Herbert have lost or cut one month ago ! And we followed the print and noticed they were not entering in the places of the incidents at all ! The rest of them just got covered in snow !

Director : As for the glasses, those were just a copy that the culprit wanted to use as an evidence against Dot after a new disaster.

Dot groaned in rage.

JPG : So if I got it correctly : So in conclusion : Laura Glory caused disasters, and then put us into a wrong track by using Herbert's old fur and claws and covering the real destination of his prints to try to frame him. And then she spread rumors about us behing the real responsible of the incident to ternish the PSA, and get more fame ?

Director : Exactly.

Rachel : ...That... LITTLE...

Rachel slammed the table with her flippers, making everyone jumps.

Rachel : Director ! I will stop Laura ! I will show the whole island her real face ! And I will make her PAY for what she did to you all !

Director : Agent-

The yellow penguin put her flipper on her chest and stood up.

Rachel : I, Rachel Chapelier, will stop Laura Glory in the name of the EPF and the PSA, to bring back the peace on Club Penguin.

Everyone just starred at Rachel, who slowly started to loose her confidence, and started to get embarrassed.

Rachel : Huh... It was that lame ?

Rookie suddenly got up as well.

Rookie : I will do that too ! I want to save our agency !

Jet Pack Guys followed him.

JPG : Count me in.

Dot also got up from her seat.

Dot : Yeah ! We are not going to let this fake friend take down everything we built with you, Director and G !

And then it was Paige's turn.

Paige : We'll show everyone who doubted us what the PSA and the EPF are capable of !

The Diractor and Gary were silent for a while... Then the scientist smiled warmly.

Gary : Thank you agents. I am proud to be your mentor.

Director : And I am proud to be your Director. 

Rachel : And I am proud to be an EPF agent.

Director : Well, agents. Today is the day we put an end to Laura's actions. So...

"Be resourceful, be remarkable, be ready."
