Me, Harry, Sue, and all the rest of the Cullens stood in a straight line at the front, our arms linked. None of us were speaking, and there was definitely a strange silence around us. None of us could speak to one another, despite the fact that soon, we may no longer have each other. We were standing in the field where the fight with the newborns happened, as well as the thing with Renesmee. 

I went through the list of Volturi members that had any special powers. Aro could read every thought you ever had through just one touch. Renata's gift is similiar to Bella's, yet it retracts physical powers, rather than mental powers. Marcus can read the emotional ties between two people. Chelsea could destroy the emotional ties between people. That definitely could be an issue. What if she weakens the bond that we have for one another, and then we no longer loved one another enough to protect us?  

Then I remembered that Bella could give all of us a shield.

I kept going through the list anyways. Jane can make you think that you're feeling terrible pain. Her twin brother, Alec, can make you feel nothing. All of your senses are turned off, therefor you're very vulnerable, and he will kill you in a second. Demetri could track people if he's ever been around them, which would be a problem if we all gave up and ran away. One at a time, the Volturi would find us and kill us anyways. Running from this fight was obviously not an option. 

Afton could make himself invisible, which sucked. There was nothing we could do about that one. Of course, how long could he possibly keep up his invisibility. Probably not long enough. Plus, I heard from the Cullens that if you focus hard enough, you can see through his shield.

Corin has the ability to calm you down if you're in stress. I can't really see that helping them too much. It was kind of a useless ability, if you asked me. 

That's when I went through the list of special abilities that we had.

We had two mind readers that could anticipate the next move and counter it. That was helpful for them. We had me, who can read the minds of animals, which didn't really help this much, considering how I can't read the minds of any of the wolves. We also had Sue, who can change into a wolf. Jasper was a seriously experienced fighter, and he can change your emotions. Alice can read the future, meaning she may be able to anticipate the next move.

Alistair could feel when living beings are close, and this ability is much more wide spread then it is for most vampires. Nobody will ever be able to sneak up on him. Siobhan has the ability to change the outcome of an event if she focuses really hard. That could mean life or death for us. I considered asking her to try to stay out of the fight so she can concentrate on us winning. Maggie, who was a member of Siobhan's coven, can detect if someone is lying. That may come to use if this battle becomes one of words, rather then of weapons. Charles also has this ability, but it's not nearly as strong.

Kate can electrify someone if she's touched. That will come in handy, for sure. Eleazar can sense the abilities and strength of that ability in other vampires. If a vampire in the Volturi have a power that we don't know about, we will certainly know soon. Zafrina can project vivid images into someone else's mind, making them see something differently then what they were previously seeing before. Benjamin can manipulate the elements in anyway that he likes, so he can use that to fight.  Corin has the ability to make anyone feel content in their current situation, which she can use to her ability during the fight. 

Renesmee can make anyone know what she's thinking, which could be a good taunting tool. Fred can make people physically repulsed by him. He can use this to make people stop thinking of him, and he can make his attack. Raoul can make people think that he's their leader, which would come in handy. 

With all of that in mind, that meant that the Volturi had 9 vampires with special abilities. Our side, on the other hand, had 19.

That boosted by confidence as the Volturi approached. Behind the line of Cullens were all of the other Vampires, of which I couldn't come up with a defined number, but I knew that there were more than 35. But, on the other hand, I couldn't help but to notice that there were more than 35 Volturi members. 

Suddenly, all hell broke loose.

The fight was on, and I mean it was on! I found myself fighting mostly wives. I killed one, two, three! I was killing quickly. After I killed them, I would always make sure to rip off a limb or two. Benjamin was using his ability to our great advantage. Rather than fighting, he would run around the battlefield and burn the remnants of vampires that were killed. Of course, he only burned Volturi members, but as I looked around, I realized that the only vampires that were being killed were the Volturi. They were dropping like flies! 

I noticed that Jane and Jasper were fighting. Bella was nearby Jasper and projecting her shield so she can protect Jasper from her. As I watched, I found myself being attacked by another wife, of which I just quickly killed. I looked back over to Jasper and Jane, and I couldn't help but to cheer out when I noticed Jane hitting the ground. Jasper ripped off a few of her limbs, and Benjamin ran right over, torching the hell out of her. Jane was dead.

I turned around and gasped as I noticed Alec walking over to Harry. Harry was absolutely still, his face blank, and I knew that Alec had used his numbing powers on him.

"Bella!" I yelled. She finished off her opponent before turning to me. I pointed to where Harry was standing completely still. Her face looked confused, but only for a second before she noticed that Alec was there. She ran over, fast as a lightning bolt, and stood right in front of Harry. Alec stopped in his tracks, taken off guard by the sudden obstacle. I ran over there, too, coming up behind Alec. I watched carefully as Bella made Harry not numb. Bella glanced at me, gave a curt nod, and I pounced.

I wasn't the only one fighting Alec. Harry and Bella were fighting him, too. We were biting him in a bunch of different places, making him scream out in pain. One of his arms were trying to push me away. I took advantage of that. I grabbed his wrist, closed my eyes, and tugged. The arm came right off.

Bella and Harry followed my lead. They both started to tear off his limbs, and I looked around to find Benjamin. Relief flooded over me as I saw him running over to his. It looked like he was carrying fire in the palm of his hands. He shot Alec with the fire, and we watched as he started to burn. The Witch Twins were both dead.

All around me, it was like a sea of fire. So many had already dropped dead, and not a single one of ours did.

I crouched and looked around, trying to find my next victim, until I noticed a hard fight between Aro and Carlisle. Aro appeared to be winning, and I ran over to help. From behind Aro, I put both hands on his head and tried to twist, but Aro was resisting his head being ripped off.

I kept pushing and pushing, and yet somehow nothing was happening. His resistance was too strong. I was trying so hard to rip Aro's head off that I failed to notice what was going on with Carlisle until i heard the snap.

Horrified, I looked around Aro to find Carlisle laying on the ground. His head was ripped off, and I could see the cracks going up his face from the breaking of his marble body. I looked around frantically and noticed that Renesmee was currently unoccupied.

"Renesmee! Come get your grandpa and carry him far away from here!" 

She looked up quickly, and I noticed her laying her eyes on Carlisle. Her face twisted in pain for only a nanosecond before she ran over, picked up his head and his body, and went running into the forest.

I bit into Aro's neck, and he screamed out in pain. After holding him there for many seconds, I turned him so we were facing one another, face to face. Our red eyes were held in a tight gaze.

"I will kill you, Aro. You're done messing around with everyone. You're done killing people for no reason. This ends today."

"It was all for a good cause, dear Charlie Swan."

I hissed at him. "I'm known as Charlie Cullen now."

With no hesitation, I grabbed the sides of his head and twisted, this time not giving him time to react. His head ripped right off, and within a second, Benjamin had him aflame. I stared at the burning body of what used to be Aro, and I felt no regret. Killing wasn't exactly the Cullen way, but I didn't care. Not when this man almost killed Carlisle. Just as long as Carlisle's body doesn't catch on fire, he would remain alive.

I looked up, and noticed that the army of good vampires were all staring at me. There was not a single Volturi member still left. We were all alive, and all the Volturi were dead.

"We did it!" Yelled Alice, who was running into Jasper's arms. There was silence for a split second before everything erupted into cheers. The Volturi were dead! I found myself within Bella's arms before I had any time to react.

It soon fell into silence, and I was standing beside Jasper and Edward.

"Where's Carlisle?" Edward asked, his face suddenly frantic and worried. "Where's Renesmee?"

"Don't worry about them. Renesmee took off with Carlisle's body after Aro ripped his head off. Just as long as he's not on fire, he'll be alive soon." I replied.

"Aro tried to kill Carlisle? They're friends!" 

"No, not friends... Aro wouldn't have tried to kill the Cullens back in Italy if they were friends."

"Where's Aro? I'm going to kill him!" Edward yelled.

"Sorry, Edward, but I beat you to it." I gestured over to Aro's flaming body. 

"It was so great." Zafrina said. "I saw it happen, and I was close enough to hear. Aro called him Charlie Swan, and then he said, 'I'm known as Charlie Cullen now.'"

"Did you really say that?" Edward asked me.

I nodded. "I want to be part of your family, if that's okay."

"Charlie, you already were." Esme said.

I smiled, and I saw the majority of the watching crowd smile, too.

"Yes, we won the battle, but now what? Who's going to keep vampires a secret?" Jasper asked.

"Nobody." Spoke Carlisle as he walked into the field, Renesmee close behind him. I saw every single Cullen get a relieved look on their face, including me. "It's time that the world knows that there is such thing as vampires. We'll act as a new Volturi, but only to calm down human drinkers. They will kill all of us if they know that there are dangerous ones. It'll take self control from a lot of you, but you can do it."

"I think that we're all up for that." Spoke Benjamin.

"Good, because it's how it's going to be from now on. Humans will know vampires."

Cheers erupted again, and I watched in triumph up until the moment that Renesmee kissed my cheek.

"I love you, Grandpa."

"I love you, too, Renesmee."

After that, the Volturi never messed with us again.
