I don't own the names, and a lot of the information. Its from the Twilight Saga, of course. I hope you enjoy!

I stood in front of the mirror, staring at myself. My bright crimson eyes stared back at me, reminding me so much of the familiar taste of blood. I couldn't help but to lick my lips at the thought of blood. It tasted so delicious, so great, yet it was never enough. I always had to go back after feeding to get some more blood. I knew I had become obsessed, but that's what happens. I knew now that there was nothing I could ever do about it. I was a vampire, and this was purely my nature.

I tried to recall how long ago I had been in Forks. What year had it been? 2009, if I can recall correctly. Had it really been four years since I had last been here? It felt like barely a day. Of course, when I knew that I was going to live for eternity, four years literally was nothing.

I knew that it was dumb to come back to Forks. Surely the people who still remembered me would notice the way my skin looked like white marble, that I hadn't aged a day, and that my eyes were crimson red. Yet, I knew that I could pull it off if I had to. And I have to.

I became a vampire four years ago, here in the very town of Forks. It had been a cloudy day, and the fish weren't biting, so I went out to the graveyard, all alone. The fishing trip had reminded me too much of my dear old friend, Harry Clearwater, who died from a heart attack. Or so I thought.

I visited his grave, and I ended up talking out loud, as if I was talking to him, probably looking like a crazy old guy, if you asked me. I sat there for many hours, even after it had gotten dark. I told him about everything. About how there was something strange going on with my daughter, and the Cullens. I told him about how Jacob Black, and the rest of those boys were werewolves. Later on, I mentioned Leah and couldn't help but to laugh at myself for forgetting her. She was always hot-tempered about that. In addition to the wolves and what ever those Cullen folks were, I told him about how I didn't really want to know. All I knew was that the family Bella put herself in was a family of something that just wasn't right, and she had made herself what ever they were. Then, as I sighed in remorse about how much I missed my Bella, Harry appeared to me.

He was just there, standing there. He was staring straight at me, and I looked around to see if I was alone in the graveyard. Once I confirmed that I was alone, I looked back to Harry. He wasn't the same. His usually tan skin had gone completely pale, and the wrinkles that had been set into his face had disappeared. He looked very young. About 30, at the very oldest. I couldn't put my finger on who he reminded me of, but the resemblance was uncanny.

Then, I noticed his eyes, which had been hidden before by the shadow of his cap. There were bright red, the color of blood. I shivered, and knew now who he reminded me of. He looked like the Cullen family.

The Cullens didn't have red eyes, I knew. They all had these strange golden eyes that had never made any sense to me. Yet, the face... The skin tone, the perfectness of Harry's face. I knew at that second that what ever he was, it was the same thing that my Bells had been turned into.

Harry came closer to me, and he started to speak. "I knew of the werewolves, Charlie. I lived in La Push, on the reservation. All of us knew. All of the council members, at least. We were all very aware of the werewolves, as well as the vampires. There was legend that the Cullens were vampires, and we all knew it was true, but I never imagined that I would be one of them."

"You're a Cullen? What? Vampires? Harry, you're not making any sense what so ever. How could you be what the Cullens are? You're dead!" I replied.

"That's what we all gave you the impression of. Do you know what that heart attack was caused by, Charlie?"

I shook my head.

"It was caused by a vampire, Charlie. When were out patrolling for those giant wolves, which were really the boys, as I'm sure you understand now, I found a wolf footprint. I had brushed it out, that way you wouldn't pick up there trail. I didn't want you to kill any of the boys. Then, as you kept going, Victoria tried to kill you. She was poised to do it, but I pointed my gun at her. She saw me, ran after me, and the scare gave me a heart attack."

I stared at him in awe and shock, unsure of how to reply.

"All those strange deaths that happened? Yeah, those were from vampires. Bad vampires. A small coven of three had been killing people. Those deaths in Seattle were caused by a newborn army that Victoria had created. Of course, all of those vampires are dead  now. You have no reason to fret."

I exhaled a deep breath, and I saw Harry cringe. I watched, confused, and continued to breath deeply, trying to control my slow, oncoming panic. He looked at me, and seemed to be in pain.

"Harry, are you alright?" I asked.

He didn't answer, but instead bent his knees, as if he was about to pounce on me. In that moment, I understood. Harry had never died. He had been turned into a vampire.

"Right you are, Charlie." Harry said, answering my unspoken thoughts. "That is exactly what I am. Carlisle turned me. That open casket funeral you attended, I was really alive. Vampires can go a long time without moving, and they don't need to breath. Vampires are naturally cold and pale, so I assume that I looked pretty dead to you and everyone else."

I started to shift my weight, preparing to nonchalantly scoot away from him. The look he was giving me was starting to frighten me. I exhaled again, and continued on by taking another deep breath.

"Stop breathing like that, Charlie! You're only burying your own grave." He hissed at me, and pounced.

I knew now, four years later, that the Cullens were vampires, including my daughter. I was now in a small coven with Harry. Just the two of us. I knew now that once Harry was buried, he got himself out, covered the grave back up with dirt, and went off to the Cullens house. Yet, before he had even gotten there, he smelled a human walking along the side of the road. Of course, he couldn't resist, so he fed off of him, and now here we are today.

For the four years, we had been bunking with the Volturi. We were almost as important as Jane when we left. Aro positively adored us. Harry could read minds, just as Edward could, and Aro had always had a soft spot for Edward. I had the ability to understand what animals are saying, whenever they make noises, as well as hearing there thoughts. That was very useful when hunting, because I could always understand the birds telling each other about humans that they could see. So, Aro kept me around for that reason as well.

Yet, we went back to Forks because we both knew the area well, and the familiar walls of the Volturi  castle had begun to bore us. So, now here we were.

I heard Harry walking up the porch from outside, and entering the house. His smell filled the entire home, and I said, "Harry. I'm thirsty."

Harry was next to me in a split second, his vampire speed sending him up the stairs. "Me too. Forest behind your house?" He asked.

I nodded. "Yeah, sure. I'm very familiar with that area. And if I remember correctly, which I'm sure I do, there a lot of hikers who like it out there, and don't mind this rainy weather."

Harry nodded. "Sounds good to me, son." He looked around the room, examining everything. "I remember this house so well. It's strange to think that it's no longer your home."

I looked at him, and knew that I didn't have to tell him what I was thinking, but I did it anyways. "I never sold this house, Harry. It's still mine. And I think it's safe to say that it is my true home, considering how I lived in the house for about 19 years."

"True" Was all he said.

Through my thoughts, I told him that I was too thirsty to wait any longer. And, with that, I jumped out the window.

I ran quickly through the forest, listening to what nearby animals were saying. A lot of them were talking about and thinking of a couple humans that were walking off of the trail. The image in there minds only made me thirst all that much more. The couple was young, probably newly married. They looked like they had that look of star crossed lovers in there eyes. Well, how perfect. At least they would die together.

I sped through the forest, and the second that the great scent of human blood hit me, I jumped up into a tree to lookout over the trail. The sweet scent filled my nostrils, and the white hot burning in my throat became even more apparent to me. I was aware of Harry nearby in a tree, and I made my thoughts very clear that I wanted the women.

Then, I saw them, holding hand and laughing. The women's scent was much better than the man's scent. Of course, the man spelled great, and I knew that if I got him instead, I would be perfectly happy.

They started getting closer, and I braced myself to pounce. There scent was so close now. I could see there blood pumping through there bodies. I told Harry through my thoughts that I couldn't take it any longer, and that I was going to jump.

I silently jumped from the tree, landing squarely in front of the couple. My red eyes must've been extremely obvious, because there blood started pumping even faster, and the look of terror on there faces was absolutely priceless. They turned to run, and suddenly, Harry was in front of them. They were trapped, and they knew it.

Harry smiled to me, and did a slight nod, one so small that I bet the humans didn't even notice. I bent my knees, and pounced.

As I was flying through the hair, something hit me hard, like some sort of large rock. The rock sent me about 100 yards away. I hit the ground with a dull thud, and I heard Harry snarl. He must be feeding by now. The women was probably running, but I could catch up very easily.

I tried to get the rock off of me, but it didn't budge in the slightest, and I snarled, starting to get frustrated. Then, a scent hit me, catching me suddenly off guard. This was no rock. This was another vampire.

The vampire flipped me so that I was on my back. It's hands were on my shoulders, pinning me to my place. I could smell the humans slightly still, but I knew now that they had run away. I could also faintly smell Harry, but he was farther away now. Had he chased after them? Surely they couldn't have run away.

"My brother is taking the humans away, mongrel. And my sister has Harry." The vampire hissed at me. I tried to struggle out of the vampires grasp, but they held me firmly in place.

I realized with a shock that I recognized the velvet-like voice. Yet, it wasn't a voice that I had encountered while being a vampire. The memory of the voice was an old, human one.

Confused, I turned my head and found myself staring into golden eyes. I was staring up into a tangle of bronze hair, and the white marble jaw was clenched in anger. There was a slight smell of wet dog on the vampire, and I realized with horror of who I was looking at. Shocked, I whispered his name.

"Edward."
