NOTE: PLOT DEVIATION STARTS HERE! BE WARNED!
Y/N: My God, things in Terra are getting hectic now, isn't it?
Histoire: Well Sir, after that mild interruption by the media which in result just revealed the Aegis Corporation, albeit with only little information and our name still not known and only some of our tech, and the situation in Chernobog, Terra has been in constant alert for Reunion activity 24/7 while watching out for anything "advanced" everywhere.
Y/N: *rubs head* This is why I don't want the media to find out except when I want too. They ruin everything though maybe this situation can be salvaged. What about the two snoopers who did this all? Where are they?
Histoire: Well, we found out they were actually from the Columbian News Network.
Y/N: Columbian News Network. CNN, huh? Who knew?
Histoire: The cameraman and the reporter were returned in the news station with them not remembering their apparent "kidnapping" and let's just say that the media's reaction was priceless.
Flashback
While her creator was resting, Histoire herself overseen the entire operation on Chernobog. Reunion reinforcements eventually arrived and put a little setback in the clean-up operation. Some actually tried to play smarter and tried ambush or overwhelming tactics, though it backfired on them. Ambushers were quickly dispatched by assassin droids currently stationed in the area.
( Equipped with cloaks even undetectable by thermal detection, some are equipped with silenced laser rifles and pistols while others preferred laser swords, lots of these guys are scattered throughout Terra by your order )
Those that tried overwhelming the assaults droids eventually managed to destroy a small amounts albeit at a large cost. For every one droid they tried to overwhelm, 15-20 Reunion members need to sacrifice for enemy casters to bombard it with arts. Even then, when a droid is destroyed, it will explode with a power equivalent to a C4's explosion and unleash a last barrage of lasers and shrapnel. The overwhelming tactic doesn't work on the juggernaut droid however as a plasma axe is very much harder to deal with than a plasma sword, also taking into account the laser cannons and the missiles firing with great accuracy. Eventually after a long time, Reunion, with their pride and morale broken, decided to retreat from Chernobog with whoever survived, the incident etched onto some of their minds. She then decided to just return the apprehended media in the news station they worked from through a teleportation portal. She then saw the whole thing transpiring in amusement, from the media eventually gobsmacked at a blue portal appearing outside their door with robots appearing and lying down the reporter and the cameraman gently before returning back, eventually baffled as to how easily the droids just arrived from Chernobog to Columbia in seconds, some eventually rushed to their unconscious colleagues and ask them more questions about their experience in Chernobog. Histoire just ordered all the bots except the assassin droids to return back to base as the assassin droids have more to do, mainly to just be the eyes of the Aegis Corporation.
Present
Y/N: Really?
Histoire then shows you a hologram with a news bulletin shown in it.
"Mysterious Bots Returning Media Reporter and Cameraman in Action"
You then watched the news with an amused expression.
Y/N: Wow, even the news description is in perfect detail. Well, even my previous world's media will react like this if an alien entity or organization eventually reveals themselves to the world. How goes that portal leading back to Earth by the way?
Histoire: Well, there are a lot of alpha worlds out there, Sir. We need to track the exact coordinates with no mistake as even one variable deviating from the original might send us in a very different dimension altogether, and some of them have.....unpleasant things in there.
Y/N: Well, we don't really want unknown variables to ravage Terra to the ground now do we?
You hand over the phone that brought you to Terra.
Y/N: Maybe that'll help. I've been holding that thing for a while now. Who knew, playing Arknights "in" Arknights. Wonder how the whole of Terra reacts if I really told them the truth of them being just a tower defense game in my world.
Histoire: Well sir, we don't want some of them suffering an existential crisis now, do we? And we have a tiny bit of a problem here.
Y/N: Hmmm? What is it?
Histoire shows you multiple camera shots of drones and a video about a familiar creature that attacked one of your bases, mainly the one near the Aegir city.
Histoire: It would seem that the Seaborn which are native to the area attacked our base with pure curiosity. With the information you gave us about their lore, we had no choice but to use disintegration ray cannons as even a single cellular byproduct of a Seaborn corpse can give multiple information to other Seaborn who eats it's "own".
Y/N: Good job, then. We really don't want them sea creatures to counter our technology. Luckily the disintegration ray cannons works perfectly.
Histoire: Yes sir, it would seem that they are also intelligent as they for some reason completely avoids our bases, even near the coasts of Iberia sir.
Y/N: Fear? Here I thought they would just charge and charge. But if I know better, their purpose is evolution and survival, two things which we have countermeasures too. Tell all the bases near the coastlines to be vigilant of the Seaborn. It would seem we just sparked their interest.
Histoire: But sir, what would happen if the Seaborn launches an all out assault on our bases. If your information is right about it, even with our technology more advanced than the Aegir, all it takes for them is overwhelming us with numbers or worse, making their own countermeasures against our own countermeasures.
Y/N: Do not worry about that, Histoire.
A golden familiar gauntlet adorned with stones that radiated power appeared on your right hand.
Histoire's eyes comically bugged out of their sockets.
Histoire: The.....Infinity Gauntlet? HOW DO YOU HAVE THAT?
Y/N: It would seem you really did your homework yeah? Oh and the stones in the gauntlet are actually native to this universe, with the Reality Stone already in Terra for some reason. The other stones I needed to find by myself. The Mind Stone just came to me while I was asleep, the Space Stone on some planet with lots of electromagnetic storms, space rips, Philadelphia Experiment and whatnot, Power Stone from an alien hell bent on being an intergalactic conqueror and actually found this planet, though I kicked its alien ass to Kingdom Come, and the Soul Stone I got a planet I don't know what is the name of and it's definitely not Vormir.
Histoire: Okay...... How did you make the gauntlet then?
Y/N: Oh, well.....Man made...
Histoire looks at you with awe and acceptance when she remembered what see wants to say.
Histoire: Lyn and Angelica just came back from Lungmen, said they have questions for you.
You were knocked out of your stupor.
Y/N: Oh, very well then. Oh, I almost forgot. Histoire, I need you to manage the production on "Project Second Sun" and the maintenance of the machinery in the other bases. Do you understand?
Histoire: Of course sir, right away!
Histoire flew out of your sights and you wandered why she likes work so much. Very similar to her HDN counterpart indeed. You then flew out of the base to go the base outside Terra's atmosphere.
Aegis Corporation Main Base, Office Section Alpha....
Y/N: So, let me get this straight. I gave you two a mission to investigate an underground convict who is also a mafia drug runner and an illegal smuggler. And what happened is you invaded their hideout and in return you were chased by the mafia and the smuggler's men. Is that right?
Angelica: Count on the burnt and sliced bodies that was left there to rot. I'm pretty sure the cops would be glad to see those.
Lyn: ....Sorry.....
Y/N: Look, I'm not upset about what happened but you should've been stealthy about it. God knows if a drone or a camera actually captured your face.
Lyn: Oh and we met three officers who for some reason called us Ch'en and Swire. Why?
Y/N: I....well....you two kinda looked like two officers that works at the L.G.D.
Angelica: Well, none of that now. I want to sleep. Man, I'm dead tired now.
Lyn: Yeah, me too. Come on, let's drink coffee and see who will sleep first.
Angelica: You're on!
The two then ran out of the office with haste to do "girl" stuff.
Y/N: Yep, very different from their originals, hahaha. Ch'en would always want to work, not sleeping and Swire will always never agree with Ch'en except when in serious situations. God.
A Female T-doll dressed in a doctor's outfit entered your office.
T-doll: Sir, he's awake.
Y/N: Really? Well, lead the way. I would want to ensure his health is good.
T-doll: Right this way sir.
She then led you to the hospital wing of the space superstructure through a teleporter.
T-doll: Hmmm, let's see. Ward No.169, ah there it is. If you my excuse me, sir.
Y/N: You are excused.
The doctor then left. You then prepared to open the door.
Y/N: A massive plot change this is.
You open the door to see many people dressed in Rhodes Island uniforms with one very familiar to you.
???: Oh, you must be Y/N L/N. My name is Ace. I can't thank you enough for saving us.
Y/N: Oh, don't worry about that. You were lucky some of the droids managed to help those who were still able to live, even those at death's door but I'm sorry. We couldn't save those already dead.
Ace: It's okay. They died for what they know was right. Here I thought that I died right there, ablaze in what is similar to hellfire.
Y/N: Oh no, apparently my assassin droid just managed to teleport you in time or you would've been ash. We can treat burns or wounds, even internal organs. But you can't really heal dead people now owuld ya?
Ace: What about my friends? Amiya and the others? Are they safe?
Y/N: Well yes they are. And they actually returned to Chernobog to get something secret. Welp, would've been overwhelmed if Kal'tsit didn't ask for help.
Ace: Dr. Kal'tsit? And returning to Chernobog? Must've been really important if they're sent there again.
Y/N: Even I don't know what Kal'tsit desperately wanted there. But hey, that's just another story. How are you adjusting here? If you all finish recovering, I could send you all back to Rhodes Island. They would be very glad to see you.
Ace: That would be very much appreciated, Mr. Y/N. But why do this for us?
Y/N: Maybe because if you have the power to stop something bad, then you can use that power to really stop that bad thing from happening. So seeing you all in that state and not helping you is kinda cruel.
Ace: Nevertheless, thank you.
Y/N: Don't be. And oh, if you want something, you can call the nurses to help you and your teammates in your needs. If you want to already be out, just tell the doctor. Savvy?
Ace: Ok. You have something to do?
Y/N: Visiting a "friend".
You then teleported somewhere, leaving Ace to stare at where you were before shrugging and calling the nurse for coffee.
The Country of Laterano.....
You stealthily moved from the shadows of the Laterano streets using your cloak and your enhanced senses and speed as a Prototype to jump and run to walls and sometimes shapeshift if things get too dire. You eventually arrive at your destination, a room inside a big hospital. You opened the door to find......nothing or no one there.
Y/N: Oh my God....Let me guess, she is currently on top of a signboard or a statue again wielding her guns like a maniac. Shouldn't have given her wheelchair jetpack boosters.
You then changed your clothes to a more civilian one and activated a halo projection on your head and ran outside the hospital to see a crowd of Laterano citizens or Sankta currently observing a woman in a wheelchair on the top of a statue holding a Glock and an Mk18 rifle currently shooting like a maniac while one of the Sankta who you recognize as her caretaker was currently shouting at her to get down.
Caretaker: Please, Ms. Lemuen. You need to get down now before you get hurt. *mutters* Exusiai, Fiammeta or Mostima will kill me if something happens to you.
You approach the caretaker then poked her back.
Caretaker: Hmm? Oh Sir Y/N good timing. Please get her down before something bad happens. If something happens to her......I dread to think....
You just looked at her like she was guilty of something.
Caretaker: Look, she asked me to get her breakfast, saying she was hungry and the next thing you know, she was gone and now this. *sighs* I'm not paid enough for this.
Y/N: Always told you that I'd take care of her you know?
Caretaker: Oh please yes....
She gives you the key to her hospital room.
Caretaker: I'm just gonna....go.....yeah.....
The caretaker who you see was struggling to walk began to go to god knows where.
Y/N: That's the 4th caretaker now. What am I going to do with you...? *inhales* LEMUEN, GET DOWN FROM THERE OR I SWEAR THAT I WILL CONFISCATE YA WEAPONS AND BAN YOU FROM USING THEM FOR A WEEK! AND IM ALSO ORDERING THE NANOS TO LOCKDOWN YOU ON YOUR ROOM FOR A WEEK!
Some of the crowd was startled then looked at you. You then heard an "Oh no!" sound and notice that Lemuen and her wheelchair was falling....directly to you but separately.
Y/N: Oh my God....*sighs*
You then caught Lemuen and made the wheelchair float by hacking the jetpack's activation system through nanomachines embedded inside the wheelchair machinery.
Lemuen then coyly hugs you.
Lemuen: My hero!
Y/N: Really? Bruh.... Don't worry people, problem resolved. Now get in your jobs before a stray explosive blows you up.
An explosion and the sound of rock crumbling was heard at the distance.
Y/N: Like that!
The crowd then dispersed like its a normal occurence for them, leaving you and Lemuen with a smug face.
Y/N: Really?
Lemuen: We always find a way to have fun!
Y/N: Let's just get back.
You brought her back to the hospital and locked the door.
Y/N: Okay, let's see. That is the 4th caretaker that left now. What in the heck do you even do that makes them leave you? And don't say this is my fault now!
Lemuen then sits back to her wheelchair and looks out the window.
Lemuen: It's been a long time since I awoke from my coma, Y/N. I want to see the world for myself and experience the joys of moving myself once more and it's hanks to you for that by the way. The doctors were confused of how though hehe. You even healed my legs and gave me more enjoyable things, and more guns, and more sweets and more stories and-
Y/N: Okay okay...Jeez no need to make me blush... It's been like what..5 months we're in a secret relationship? Oh what or how would Exusiai react? Or Mostima? Or Fiammeta?
She looks at you with an expression you deemed as her serious side.
Lemuen: Remember Y/N, my time as an intelligence officer taught me a lot of things. And reading people is one of them. I'm actually surprised of how our relationship grew to be honest.
Y/N: Guns and roses? Sweets and Duels?
Lemuen: You know we nearly got caught by Mostima when you brought me to that cake store last month. I'm still very fascinated of that gadget of yours.
Y/N: Oh you mean the Neuralyzer. Don't worry, no negative effects that thing has. It just erases memories and you can replace them with something new like "forget our date, you were focusing in your shop business" and boom, problem solved.
Lemuen giggles. You find it cute.
Lemuen: Yes.....and I'm also surprised you haven't hit any of your co-workers in your base, even if they're androids or clones.
Y/N: Hey I'll have you know that they and I have strict procedures in terms for personal issues. I'll also let you know that I'm monogamous. Only one. And that's you and that's final.
Lemuen: *giggles* Though I want to ask you a question. Why me?
Y/N: Why you indeed? Well, you know love at first sight is a thing. Besides, I know I'm surrounded by beautiful women everytime but you just, well, is different. Argh, I'm making myself more awkward. You know how my first impressions went when we met secretly right?
Lemuen: Oh yeah. You nearly-
Y/N: Shush, dear. Don't want mineself to cry now, right?
You heard a familiar voice on the other side of the door knocking.
???: Sis, why is the door locked? Did you forget the keys again?
???: Oh let me Exusiai.
Lemuen: Well I guess this is-
An open window that abruptly was closed by the wind and a smoke cloud disappearing replaced your current position. A letter then flew in and Lemuen read it.
"Time will tell, my dear"
"You will know the right moment"
Lemuen: Someone might think of this as confusing, you know that dear. Hehehe. And you were right. You're horrible at talking to girls. *giggles*
Note: And done. That's how
