The first one to spring into action, having seen what Alice saw was Edward.

"Quick get your hair down" He instructs Bella

"Like that'll help, I can smell her across the field" Rosalie says

I turn around and I spot three vampires standing in front of us, exiting the woods

"I shouldn't have brought you here, I'm so sorry" Edward says as he places a hat on Bella's head

"Apologies are not going to fix anything Edward, just hide her" I say as I stand behind Carlisle

"I believe this belongs to you" Someone says as he throws Carlisle a base ball

"I am Laurent, this is Victoria" He gestures his head over to his left where a light red haired woman stands "and James" He says as he does the same to his left

"I'm Carlisle... and this is my family. I'm afraid that your hunting has caused something of a mess for us"

"We were just passing threw-"

"We maintain a permanent residence near by" Carlisle points out as I glance at the three of them, stopping for a minute to look at James

"Well we could stay and play" Laurent says

"Very well, but a few of us were just leaving"

As we start to move suddenly James pipes up

"Oh I see that you've brought a snack" he says as he spots Bella and all hell breaks loose

Edward quickly jumps in front of Bella and I stand besides him

"Eyes off my Sister you ding bat" I say as I look at him, challengingly

"What, I don't even get a taste" James says as I go to take a step forward, but Edward stops me

"I think it's best that you leave" Carlisle says, trying to keep the peace, but I know that something has just happened that can not be reversed

"We'll go now" Laurent says, but James keeps looking at me threateningly as I tilt my head with a scowl, just daring him to do something

"I think your leader just told you to go" I say as he stands up and walks away "that's what I thought" I mumble as the three of them walk away and I turn back to Edward

"I've just made this his most exciting game ever" Edward says

"He's not going to stop is he?" I ask, talking about James and his want to drain Bella dry of blood, as Jasper puts his hand in mine

"Not until we kill him...." Edward says

"Or he kills my Sister first"
