- 18 Year Later -

The Past few years, Ben been teaching me how to fight. To be a Knight, it takes lot of strength and skills even training til night, I wanted to be a knight like my dad, Ben Gemstone. And it came true.

Tama and me dreamt of wanting to be a knight, Just like Ben Genstone. Tama is a year younger than me, we had a lot of fun for the past 18 years. I haven't seen him since he went to visit our dad, but he'll be back to the palace with me and my sister, Zekus also dreamt of being a knight too, she's now only 18 years old but she's very sword skilled, she beat me twice but it didn't happened again after that.

Present

"Alver!" A familiar voice called, Alver turn to see Zirius whose arms was about to hug her. "Hold on, little sister" Alver said mannerly pointed at her chest.      "COME HERE!"

"Alver.. I can't breathe" Zekus struggled around her arm and a little while she let go, Zekus coughed. " Where's Tama?" Zekus rise one of her brow as she looked around, seeing all different kind of men.

"BOO!"

"GAHHH! Tama you scared me!" Zekus startled as Alver and Tama 'bro hugged' and laughed.

"Have you heard? The King Havles announced whoever is a 17-19 years old, Knight win the battle tournament, get to be engaged to Princess rosa." Tama specifically said. "Really? How did you know?" Alver said as she turn to look at Zekus who was speechless. Tama and Alver already know why. "Zekus, you know you can freak out right" Tama chuckled. "ALVER!!!!!!!" She shouted at Alver. "Can I..?" Zekus asked excitedly.

"You don't have to ask, isn't she your dream girl?" Alver joked even if she already know. Seriously Zekus have been having a crush on Princess Rosa from a distance since she was 7 and I was about 13 years old.

"Well, aint I suppose to ask my sister for permission?" Zekus rolled her eyes and turn to Tama who was chuckling. "Brother Tam, should I ask dad for permission instead?" Zekus asked with a smiling face. "I don't think dad will mind so why not" Tama responded as he patted her head.

"FATHER! How many times do I have to tell you, I don't want to get engaged." Rosa argued.

"Sweetie, you're turning 18 and dad is getting old, whoever a skilled-man won the tournament will eventually win your heart." King Havles argued back.

"Lucy tell him." Rosa demand as she turn against her father.

Lucy curtsy "Your majesty, Princess Rosa meant to say that she won't marry a stranger that she doesn't have feelings for."

"Hmm~ then after the tournament, you can get to know that person and see how it'll go, you may go now" King Havles signed. Lucy curtsy again and took Rosa wrist as they walk out of the room.

"Why does my father have to be so stubborn!" Rosa said irritatedly. "You are stubborn too, my lady" Lucy replied mannerly as they walked to see every 2 pairs men spared.

Rosa paused looking at them spare,"Lucy, isn't that man your type?" Rosa asked pointing at him as she look at Lucy who was looking at the guy that Rosa pointed.

"He a bit smaller than other men over there" Rosa said holding her waist.

"What nonsense are you saying Princess, did you forget I'm engaged?." Lucy said she looked away as soon as the guy looks at them.

"I don't get why your father want you to get marry some guy you don't know, you don't even like him." Rosa admitted as Lucy kept quiet.

"Alver, look it's Princess Rosa and Princess Lucy." Tama said as he and Alver both gripping their wooden sword tightly. Alver confusedly look behind as she let go, Tama struggled. "Ah! Whoa dude, you almost made me fall." Tama said holding on to Alver shoulder. "I've never seen her before, the one by Princess Rosa." Alver said expressionlessly curious.

" She's Princess Lucy Quntaz, she's the oldest of 1 sibling. Her sister Princess Grace Quntaz is so adorably short when I first saw her few years ago." Tama explained while chuckling.

"Do you like her sister ?" Alver asked.

"W-what n-nooo" Tama lightly blushed. He stuttered.

I can already tell by his expression.. I have an idea. Alver smirked as she looked at Tama.

"Is it just me or is he coming your way" Rosa looked then whispered her ear, her words slightly nervousness made Lucy startled.

"Greeting Princess Rosa Halves and Princess.. Lucy Quntaz." Alver said mannerly looked at Rosa then Lucy. "May I help you?.. General Alver Gemstone." Lucy asked looking at his name tag on the shirt. "Oh my apologies Princess Rosa, can I borrow Princess Lucy?" Alver asked. Lucy slightly shook her head. "Yes you may." Rosa replied quietly chuckled.

"Uhm.. P-princess Lucy" Alver stuttered and paused. Why am I stuttering? I never stuttered before, weird.

"hmm? Is everything alright?" Lucy asked shyly.

"Ah! my brother was wondering if your sister likes anyone." Alver asked nicely.

"Eh?.." Lucy paused impassively.

"Well, I'm adopted but he became my brother." Alver said nervously touch her neck. It was her first time being timorous.

"I don't think so." Lucy said as her index finger on her chin. Alver thanked her and quickly ran back to Tama that left Lucy confused.

"Wow, what did he asked?"
"He just ask about Grace." Lucy reply as she chuckled. "He's a funny guy"

"Is he into Grace?" Rosa asked disgustingly.

"No, he was just asking me for his brother"
Lucy lightly elbowed Rosa on the arm.
