(This chapter is gonna take place after Felix arrives to Paris, so the Felix episode already happened...bare with me on this, okay?😅)

It was a bit later in the evening when I transformed to help Ladybug with a haywire helicopter.

Ladybug was having bit of trouble holding on by her yo-yo while I was trying to hold on to the tail end of the helicopter.

Eventually we got the helicopter grounded but Ladybug looked really freaked out, as to what? At the time I didn't really know, until I got back home.

"Don't blink now, we are live from Paris!"

"Yo, peeps, Alya here bringing you the one and only Ladyblog."

*Gasps* "What is that?"

*Ladybug squealing* "Hold on, Ladybug!"

"Ladybug AND Frostine in action! Hang on, cause we're going for a ride!"

"Freak out! What you got here is no ordinary book, it's a 10th-grade history book. And I should know, cause i've got this very same book. Could our very own Ladybug be a high-school student, in real life!? Woah!"

"Wow, I wonder what Ladybug was doing with a 10th-grade history book, Taani."

"I don't know, but I do know something about history you might like!"

"Really?"

"Uh huh!"

Taani then typed in the Lourves' new exhibit.

"Oh, it's on Egypt! I actually rather like Egyptian stuff, how'd you know Taani?"

"I came across an Egyptian necklace you have, and thought you might want to see!"

"Aw, well thank you Taani. I am quite fond of Egyptian stuff. I personally have always wanted to try the old Egyptian style clothing like Cleopatra wore."(no joke, I've always wanted to)

Just then, I got a call from Marinette.

"Hey Mari, what's up?"

"I was wondering if you wanted to come with me and Alya to see the new Egyptian exhibit at the Lourve. I remembered you talking about Egypt once and thought you'd uh wanna come with?"

"Oh sure! I'd love to, meet you guys on the bus."

"Alright, see you there."

I ended the call.

"See! Now you can go!"

"Yay! Oh, I'll wear my necklace too!"

(The necklace has the ankh symbol with an amethyst gem in the middle, Wattpad wouldn't let me put a picture up, so sorry😔)

"Alright, hide in my bag Taani."

I met up with Alya and Mari on the bus. When we got off, Alya was raving about what happened on her blog.

"Can you believe it? All I gotta do is find out who this history book belongs to and bam! I figure out Ladybug's secret identity, i'm so on this one!"

"You really think you can figure out who Ladybug is from a textbook that every high-school student owns?"

"Yep, cause our school is the only school that uses that book, ha! So all I gotta do is find out which girl in 10th-grade lost her book last week. There are 42 girls not counting me and Y/n."

"41! Not counting you, Y/n or me."

Alya elbowed Mari in the stomach.

"Yesterday, somebody didn't have textbook in class."

"Oh, yeah."

"I left it at home! You two know I always forget my stuff."

Alya questioningly hummed at Mari, making her nervous.

I chuckled.

*Giggles* "Just messing with you, Marinette. Of course, I'll only drop you from my investigation when you bring your book back to class."

"That is fair, Mari."

We walked into the exhibition, it was breathtaking! I loved how they set it up.

When all of a sudden, a guy pushed Alya away from Mari and Me.

He dropped some pendant, and clearly became worried sick of it.

"It's not broken."

"Uh, I'm okay too, thanks for asking."

I snickered lightly next to Mari.

The guy stood up, adjusting himself.

"I'm sorry. Hey, you're in the same grade as Alix, right? I'm her older brother, Jalil Kubdel. So, you're into Tutankhamen too? Dad!"(I meant to put Jalil but it autocorrected to Jail😅)

*Sigh* "Weird. So, again girl. Why are we here? This exhibits got something to do with Ladybug? For reals?"

"Wait really? That sounds cool!"

"Well..."

Me and Alya went to the sceptre that was displayed.

"So cool..."

Mari came over to pull us somewhere else.

"Yeah! It's over there."

Mari then dragged us to a papyrus on the wall.

"....Why are hieroglyphs so small?"

I was trying to somewhat decipher the hieroglyphs while Alya stared, bored at the papyrus. Mari looked like she was struggling trying to find whatever it was she wanted to show us.

After a while, Alya got impatient. I was caught up looking at the papyrus but I could still hear them.

"Come on! Tell me what it is already!"

"No, no, cuz it wouldn't be a surprise then."

"To you, Y/n or me."

Wait what?

"I'm telling you, Father, it's right in the hieroglyphics. Excuse me."

Then me and Mari were pushed into Alya. Why the hell is he so rude! At least I remembered where I left off.

"There, as you know, the one with the sceptre is Tutankhamen the 1st. And there, opposite, is Nefertiti, his princess, there are exactly 100 mummies beside them. She died several years before him, and the Sun God, Ra, took her as his Goddess."

Sheesh

"Yes, I know all about that. I'm the director of this exhibition, remember?"

"Really!?"

"Quite so."

"Cool!"

"Anyway, then you also know that Tutankhamen wanted to bring his princess back to life by offering the Sun God a new wife. This scene illustrates a ritual he devised. Nobody has ever fully deciphered the hieroglyphics, but I have!"

I raised one eyebrow.

Has he really?

"It's a magic chant that needs to be recited in order to complete the ritual. I'm sure of it!"

Mari then spoke Alya.

"He kind of reminds me of someone else with crazy ideas...you!"

"Wow, straight and simple, eh Mari?"

"You might think my theories about Ladybug are crazy, but you watch girl, I'll prove you wrong."

"Jalil, these types of frescoes are almost always illustrations of a legend. They call it a legend for a reason."

"That's what everyone thinks, but I know it's real! I can prove it!"

"Really? And exactly how are you going to prove it?"

"I just need to get my hands on Tutankhamun's sceptre and recite the spell, I'm sure of it...!"

Jalil went to touch the sceptre, but the director grasped his hand.

"Are you serious!? Don't even think of touching that sceptre! I'd lose my job on the spot! It's a priceless, historical object, not a toy."

"Come on, Dad! We have to try out the spell! What if Tutankhamun had found out how to bring people back to life!?"

"Listen Jalil, that's enough! Get your head out of those papyrus scrolls, and focus on the real world, this one!"

Jalil started breaking down, and we didn't know what to do.

"You know, that director's not wrong but some legends can be true, plus it would be cool to think Egyptians had magic."

"You're not wrong."

We all continued to stare at the scroll.
Alya out of boredom, Mari trying to find something in it's writing, and me starting where I left off.

Mari started squealing out of nowhere.

"Gah! Put that down! I'm gonna show you the secret I found out about Ladybug!"

"About time! This better be blog worthy. Right, Y/n....Y/n?"

I answered without looking away.

"Huh? Yeah, yeah right..."

After a few minutes, I thought I finally found something, what I believe was Ladybug's kwami and a few columns over a women that had spots on her dress and was wearing a mask and with what looked to be a yo-yo in her hand.

"This thing's making my eyes hurt."

"Look closely! It is in there..."

"Hey, I think I....!"

Just then a whistle blew.

"Hey, you!"

Then what looked like an akumatized Egyptian guy showed up.

"Tut, give me time!"

His face changed and a red and yellow bubble encased the guard guy, then another guy.

Mari pulled me and Alya down before we got trapped in one of them.

Alya then ran towards the coffin to video the guy for her blog.

Alya, what the hell!

"Alya, hide!"

Mari almost got trapped in a bubble so I pulled her back.

"Get out of here, faster!"

With that, the bubbles floated away.

Me and Mari split up since the guy was walking towards the exhibit.

I let Taani out of my backpack.

"Time to kick akuma butt."

"Taani, Let's ambush!"

With that, I transformed. I just hope Ladybug and Chat Noir get here quick, who knows what this guy will do.

I saw Alya loudly whispering to her phone on her blog about the scene before her.

Oh my God, Alya...I don't see Mari! I hope she got away safely....

The Egyptian guy levitated the sceptre and the papyrus to him just before the museums alarm went off.

I pretended to swoop in before the metal bars slammed shut on me and just as Ladybug rolled under the one opposite me.

Ladybug faced the guy looking pretty badass.

"You know that's considered stealing?"

"Actually, I'm taking back what rightfully belongs to me."

While the guy was saying that, Ladybug back up to him with me beside her, ready to fight.

"Maybe, if you were the real Pharaoh, which you're not!"

Ladybug then got into a fighting position.

I heard Alya whispering to her phone.

Dang it Alya! Keep quiet!

Ladybug hand-jestered Alya to back away, but Alya took it as a wave to her. Alya then fangirled a little.

Both Ladybug and I attacked the 'Pharaoh' with our weapons.

But in the blink of an eye, he caught them with ease, then spun me and Ladybug around before making us hit an Egyptian wall.

"Sekhmet, give me your strength!"

The Pharaoh changed faces again and pulled two of the metal bars apart.

Shit, he's trying to escape!

"How nice of you to hold the door open for me."

"Chat, watch out!"

Unfortunately, it was to late. Right before Chat attacked, the Pharaoh caught Chat's face and hurled him into the coffin on display, making Chat loose his baton, thus nocking it to the floor.

Shit! Chat!

While me and Ladybug tried to open the sarcophagus, Alya started recording us again.

"Hey, hands of the threads! I can walk myself!"

Me and Ladybug turned to Alya seeing she was being hoisted up by the Pharaoh onto his shoulder.

Are you serious, Alya!?

"Seriously!?"

It took a few seconds to open the sarcophagus, but me and Ladybug managed.

While Chat was getting ahold of his head and I was asking if he was okay, Ladybug ran up to the metal bars to consult the Pharaoh.

"Let her go!"

"Release her, now!"

"Hiding behind an innocent bystander? You're weak, Pharaoh!"

"I'm way more powerful than you are!"

The Pharaoh grabbed the two bars he bent and put them back, stopping us from chasing after him.

We all ran up to the metal bars, shocked.

Alya yelled out to get our attention.

"And don't forget, all the latest behind the scenes are on my blog!" *wink*

"That Alya is one brave chick."

"I agree."

Ladybug added on to the compliment Chat gave.

"If by brave you mean bossy, feisty, and bold, yep, that's her."

True.

"Come on, get us out of here, Chat Noir."

Chat turned to looked at me, and I nodded at him.

"Cataclysm!"

Chat ran his hand on the metal bars, seemingly rusting them and breaking all at once.

We all ran out, then stopped momentarily.

"How are we gonna find them?"

"Alya has a livestream on her blog."

I opened my baton whip while saying this. Ladybug and Chat getting close to watch the live video.

"Hi Everyone, Alya here, live blogging from the shoulder of a terrifying villain. Huge scoop to come. Stay tuned!"

Chat's ring started beeping.

"You two go on ahead. I'll join you as soon as my miraculous is charged up again."

"Hurry up. It's gonna take all three of us to defeat him."

"Yeah, we wouldn't want ya to wish all the action, Kitty.~"

"Heh, right Frostine."

With that, Ladybug and I split from Chat so he could charge his miraculous while we went to go confront the Pharaoh.

While me and Ladybug we're running to get to the Pharaoh and Alya, Ladybug checked the Ladyblog for any updates.

Turns out, Alya was gonna be used as a sacrifice to bring Princess Nefertiti back!

"Hold on, Alya."

Me and Ladybug started aimlessly running to get out of the Lourve, but we got trapped!

"Woah!"

"Shit!"

"Oh no, we ran right into one of those time bubbles!"

Ladybug and I started banging from the inside of the bubble, making multiple ripples in it.

"We've gotta get out of this!"

Alya's video went off again on Ladybug's yo-yo.

"Ladybug, this is Alya. I just found out I'M the sacrificial offering to the Sun God! Please hurry!"

"Hold on, Alya."

Ladybug motioned me to start running so we could try to get there quicker.

"We're nearly there!"

We ran for awhile, but it didn't seem to be doing much of anything!

Just then, the bubble popped!

Me and Ladybug fell forward, until Chat caught us, both in each of his hands.

"Thanks for waiting around for me.~"

"No problem."

"Thanks for the save, Chat."

"Anytime.~"

We all started running again while Ladybug spoke.

"We've gotta find the hidden akuma and free it before he sacrifices that poor girl!"

When we got near the top of the stairs, we all poked our heads up to see if we could spot Alya or Pharaoh.

But all we really saw was mummies where ever we looked!

"I can't see her or Pharaoh."

"What if we get to higher ground?"

"Good thinking, Frostine."

"I agree, my fellow feline.~"

"Well thank you both."

After awhile, we got to higher ground.

"Over there."

Chat pointed at a bunch of mummies in the shape of an ankh cross with the Pharaoh and Alya in the hole of it.

I took out my baton whip to see if Alya was still livestreaming, Chat and Ladybug leaning over me to see.

"Ladybug, my sworn enemy. My nemesis may have kept me from carrying out my ritual 5000 years before, but she will not stop Nefertiti from coming back to me this time!"

"Did you say Ladybug, 5000 years, ago!?"

I stared momentarily at my screen for a second.

I knew it! I thought that hieroglyph looked familiar!

I looked over at Ladybug, seeing what she had to say. Not before looking at Chat's shocked face, making me snicker and point at him.

"Everyone does have a past they can learn from."

While Ladybug spoke, Chat looked like he was thinking.

He's gonna pull a line, isn't he.

"Well, you don't look a day over 3000."

Knew it.

"Now you know why I'm so much wiser than you."

I pointed at Chat in a laughing manner.

"HA!"

"What about Frostine?"

"Sorry, but i'm higher on the food chain then you, whiskers.~"

I saw from the corner of my eye, Ladybug put a hand over her mouth and started quietly wheezing.

"Ha! Even Ladybug agrees with me!"

"Oh, come on!"

Chat looked down in defeat while Ladybug was slowly cracking up with an arm holding her stomach.

I spotted the Pharaoh levitating the sceptre and releasing Alya from his grasp.

Shit! He's starting the ritual!

"Uh guys.."

Ladybug and Chat looked over to where I was pointing. The sceptre started glowing, then shot a beam of light to the Lourve making a murky black cloud appear above it.

Fuck, fuck, shit!

The Pharaoh started shouting, after the mummies started chanting 'Awaken Nefertiti, awaken' like robots.

"Ladybug!"

We all ducked down from the ledge.

"We've gotta save her before he completes the ritual or Alya will be gone, forever!"

"What should we do?"

"Hold back the mummies with Frostine while I take on the Pharaoh."

"Why do WE have to deal with these freaks while YOU get to slip calmly 'round back?"

"Oh come on, Chat. I thought you liked a challenge?~"

Chat looked at me like a disappointed mother, then he turned his head away from me.

"Hmph."

Ladybug walked towards Chat, catching his attention as he looked towards her.

"Cause I'm the only one who can capture his akuma. And because you two are the bravest out of us." *wink*

Chat put his hands on his hips while Ladybug swung away on her yo-yo.

"Sure. I know she doesn't really think that, but I'll pretend she does."

While Chat was saying that he turned away from the ledge to me.

"Aw, come on Chat. You make it sound like you don't wanna tangle with those walking bandages with me?~"

"After what you said earlier? Not particularly."

"Oh, come on. You know I didn't mean it. Now come on, let's wrap-up those mummies!"

With that I swung away with Chat right behind me.

When we landed, Chat perched on a lamppost with me behind him on a ledge of a building.

I shouted to get there attention.

"Hey there, you bunch of bandages!"

"What do you say we wrap this up?"

Alya looked up and smiled with relief.

"Chat Noir! Frostine!"

The Pharaoh immediately ordered the mummies to attack us.

"Seize them!"

Me and Chat started moving, but it wasn't much of a chase, considering how slow they were.

"Is that really as fast as they can go?"

"Apparently."

Me and Chat kept moving, trying to distract the Pharaoh for awhile. Unfortunately, it didn't last too long, the Pharaoh soon noticed something was off.

"Wait, this looks, like a trap!"

Ladybug swung over the building I was running on, grabbing Alya.

I looked down at the walking -somewhat- undead mummies.

"Come on, you slow pokes, catch up!"

"Buncha snails is what they are!"

"Ha ha!"

Me and Chat decided to try and fight the mummies since they were so slow.

"Hey Chat! Wanna have a picnic while we wait for them?"

"Haha, sure! Right after the concert!"

*Both you and Chat laughing while getting ready to fight the mummies back to back*

I spotted the Pharaoh flying after Ladybug.

Ladybug's got this.

Some other mummies started surrounding Ladybug. Meanwhile, the Pharaoh put Alya on the beam of light which pushed her up closer to the dark cloud!

Shit, Alya!

Chat was ready with his baton in hand, while I was ready with my baton whip.

Chat looked shocked, as I followed his gaze. The mummies we're carrying a car over to squish us!

"What the..."

"Shit..."

Ladybug wrapped her yo-yo around mine and Chats feet to save us.

"Chat Noir, Frostine, this way!"

Me and Chat followed Ladybug to the bus. Ladybug ran inside the bus while me and Chat went under and behind it.

Once all the mummies were inside, Chat extended his baton on one side while I went to the other side to use the whip part of my baton whip to pull the bus on its side while Ladybug got out.

Chat hopped over the tipped bus to catch up with us.

"We have to save Alya before she reaches the circle of darkness!"

Me and Chat nodded our heads to Ladybug right before we all ran to the Lourve.
