You two meet at the UA entrance exams. You sit next to him during the presentation and you could hear him mumbling about something. Just then, you saw him getting yelled at by an ash blonde grumpy looking hedgehog and you decided to stick up for the cute broccoli bean. ''Y-you didn't have to'' said Izuku and became a stuttering mess as you said, ''It's no problem'' and smile as he muttered ''so cute'' under his breath. "Hmm... what was that?'' you asked. "NOTHING!'' he replied and from that day, you knew he'd be by your side and you by his for a VERRYY LONGG time 

Ratsuki Bakago( or more commonly known as the angry hedgehog with pomeranian problems):

Let's just say that you both were  childhood friends before either of you knew Deku and you had to move to America after some time. You both reunited after you got into the UA and yes of course, this boi has a soft spot ONLY for YOU so you're lucky. if you tease him about it, he will go nuclear and blow the school up. You're the only one he trusts completely and yes, he DOES use his colorful language on you often but will NEVER allow you to swear!

The Icyhot Candycane Todoroki: 

You both were in the same middle school and he was cold to you at first but when you comforted him whenever his father EndaTRASH lashed out on him, he knew you could be trusted and since then, he and you became very close

Sleepy kitten boi Shinsou:

You both meet at the UA. He was tired of people flinching whenever he talked to them. Almost as if.... he was like a villain. He was tired of people either being scared of him or treating him like some kind of villain trash(No offence to all the people who LIKE the villains. My bad). So when you asked him if he wanted to be your friend, he first refused thinking it was some kind of joke, but when he saw how genuine your actions were, he was taken aback and you became friends with him. You even defended him from all the people who called him a villain and you basically stuck up for him every time 

The manly shark boi Kirishima: 

You both came to know each other during training at the UA. He accidentally injured you with his hardening quirk and as an apology, he took you out for some ice cream and you both bonded and became friends 

The cute elf boi Tamaki:

You both meet each other during kindergarten. Needless to say, you both were childhood friends.
