Recap: Arjun's family already came to know about Arjun's and Aaru's love for each other through Aaru. They all planned do play a little drama with Arjun. They arranged marriage looks for Arjun without his knowledge. Arjun gets tensed and confesses to his family about his feelings for a girl and he will only marry her. Later he will know Aaru is only the bride his family choose for him. All tease Arjun and Aaru and explains their plan. Already Arjun's parents meet Aaru's parents and ask Aaru's hand in marriage with Arjun but Aaru's parents first want to meet the groom before saying their decision. So, the next day Arjun, Aaru, Kavitha, Abhi and Rithvik ( Arjun's sister, brother-in-law and nephew) begin their journey to Aaru's hometown to meet Aaru's parents.
Arjun's pov:
Yesterday's marriage looks drama is still playing in my mind in a repeat mode. I have seen in some movies, they play the same drama with the hero but never in my life had I expected such a thing happens in reality for me.
I am smiling for myself remembering all yesterday's events.
I have already planned to reveal my love for Aaru to my parents after coming from Delhi but in reverse, I got a surprise.
I'm so happy that ma and papa already spoken with Aaru's parents and asked her hand for marriage.
Today I, Aaru, Di, Jiju and Ritu are going to Aaru's hometown to meet her parents. I'm thinking of various scenarios which will happen there. I wish all goes well.
Yesterday itself I want to go but dad stopped me and advised me to take some rest for a night and can start freshly the next day.
So here now we already started our journey.
At present this little devil Ritu is sitting on Aaru lap beside me and they both are chatting about something. Di and Jiju will take time to start as there is some important meeting for jiju.
.

.
We have almost completed half of our journey.
We can see the pleasant green fields everywhere with different kinds of crops. The greenery is giving the feeling of a new world surrounding us away from the city atmosphere.
Actually, I'm not a big fan of the change of atmosphere and all. I love my daily schedule and spending some time with my family but seeing all these I too want to experience village life for a few days.
Aaru is looking so excited.
She is explaining all these fields, temples and different things that are passing our way.
We are stopping at some spots which have a nice view to watch and relaxing for a few minutes. We are going slowly and relaxing in the middle so that Jiju and Di also can catch us in the middle. At present we are taking pictures of enjoying the atmosphere.
"Mama (uncle), come on take my picture in this angle." Rithvik shouted bringing me back from my thoughts.
"How many angles will you change?" I asked him, as he already posed for nearly a hundred photos from the time we started the journey.
He pouted and went towards Aaru and hugged her legs, in the same way, he does when he wants something from his mother.
Aaru laughed at his act and lifted him in her arms.
"Arjun, you're so bad. You made Ritu sad." She scolded me in a strict tone.
"Aaru, please not you too. Already he has a huge team against me. You are exclusively on my team." I said going towards them.
"Ok, now smile please." I said clicking their photo.
Aaru is also so interested in taking photos same as Ritu. They both made me their personal photographer.
But today feels so good. It feels like, I'm seeing my future with Aaru. I, Aaru and our kid or maybe kids.

After our little photoshoot, we stooped in nearby dabha (hotel) and to have our lunch.
Jiju and Di also reached there by the time our order arrived. We all had our lunch and resumed our journey.
This time Ritu went to jiju's car.
Hurray! I can be alone with my angry bird.
I slowly took Aaru hand which is placed on her lap and started playing with her fingers.
She tried to take her hand back from my hold but I held it more tightly.
After a few attempts, she understood that she can't win and stopped her attempts and relaxed a bit.
I placed small kisses on her knuckles.
She gasped at my sudden act and again tried to take back her hand.
"Arjun, leave my hand." She said with a shy smile.
I shook my head and this time placed a long kiss.
"Arjun, remember you are driving. Concentrate on your driving." She warned me in a strict tone.
"I have a focus on driving Aaru. Don't worry I can do multitasking and this special task gives me more energy." I said winking at her.
She blushed listening to my words.
We continued our journey with these little teasing.

By the time, we reached Aaru's home it is already evening.
Aaru's house is having a traditional look and surrounded by many big trees, different varieties of plants along with some flowering plants.
Aaru's parents along with her grandparents welcomed us.
We all got seated in the living area.
Aaru introduced us to them.
The living area is filled with photos of Aaru and Amu, from their childhood to their college, they are many photos. Aaru is looking like a small cotton ball in her childhood photos. I smiled looking at one photo in which she has full cake cream on her face.
I have noticed Aaru's grandparents are absorbing my every move so keenly. I gave my best smile to them. Her grandmother smiled but her grandfather just averted his eyes.
Aaru's mother came with some snacks and drinks.
"Have some. After that, you all can fresh up. Later we can talk." She said smiling sweetly.
I think Aaru got her smile from her mother.
Her grandmother easily mingled with us and started asking a few questions. We had a few snacks and went to our allotted rooms to fresh up.

.
Later Aaru gave us a tour of her house and garden.
Aaru's mother also joined the tour and advised us to take a rest for tonight, so that tomorrow we can talk.
Later we had a light dinner and retrieved to our rooms to take a rest.

My sleep got disturbed with mosquitoes and I'm drenched in sweat.
I got up feeling suffocated and checked the fan. God! I think power cut but I observed an inverter in the hall. Why is it not working?
I'm not able to stay in the room without any air, so I came out. By the time, I stepped out all others are already coming out of their rooms.
"There is some problem with the transformer of this area, so there may be power cut throughout the night." Uncle informed.
"Oh! Our inverter also got trouble today itself. Sorry for the inconvenience guys." Aunty said apologetically.
"It's ok aunty. We can adjust for a single night. Not a big issue." Jiju said.
We also agreed with jiju. Aunty suggested all of us to move to the terrace so that we can get some fresh air to sleep.
They arranged some mattress for all in the terrace area. We moved along with our pillow and bed sheet and lay down on our respective mattress.
Aaru and aunty arranged water bottles beside us.
Aunty lighted some lamps with neem oil. She explained to us that this will help us with mosquitoes.
Surprisingly not even a single mosquito bit us.
It's my first time sleeping on a floor mattress. For the first few minutes, I felt a little uncomfortable, but later I got habituated. The cool breezes added more comfort. Aaru's grandparents started narrating some stories of their village and some childhood memories. We all are listening to their stories with so much interest.
All these experiences are so new to me but they felt so good. The whole family sleeping under the moonlight with fresh air and gossiping with each other feels so relaxing.
Slowly we all got drifted into a deep slumber.

Next day morning:
Author's pov:
Arjun's sleep got disturbed by the sun rays.
Maybe this is the first time after his childhood; he woke up with sun rays but not by the sound of an alarm.
He observed the surrounding and saw Abhi and Ritu are sleeping hugging each other. He got a smile seeing their posture. All others are nowhere to be seen.
After a few seconds, he noticed the sound of footsteps.
Aaru came to the terrace to wake up these three.
She saw Arjun is up and first came towards him.
"Good Morning Arjun." Aaru said with a smile.
"A Very Good Morning Aaru." He said returning the smile.
"You are already up. Good. Go. Go and fresh up. I will wake Bhai and Ritu." She said in a soft voice.
Arjun nodded his head and moved to his room too fresh up.
Next, Aaru wakes up Abhi and Ritu and send them to fresh up.
.
.
.
They all got fresh up and moved towards the living area.
They noticed the surroundings. Pooja room which is located in one corner of the living area is emitting a pleasant smell of lighted lamps and sambrani sticks. The god and goddess idols are decorated with flowers.
Aaru's father and grandfather are seated on the veranda reading newspaper sipping some tea.
Aaru's grandmother is reading some books seated in the chair of the living room.
Aaru's mother, Aaru and Kavitha are coming from the kitchen with some dishes in their hands. They are laughing at something and arranging the dining table.
Aaru's mother noticed them and asked them to sit to eat their breakfast.
Next Aaru's father and grandparents also joined them.
The whole family started having breakfast with small chitchat.
Aaru's grandfather informed all about a pooja (worshipping of god) in the nearby temple. He asked Arjun's family to join them in the pooja.
After completing their breakfast all got started to the temple.
