Chapter 15

Author's POV

Manya with Arjun reached the hospital and was sitting in Shobha's cabin while Arjun was waiting for her outside.

"Hello, Manya. How are you? Arjun told me yesterday that you wanted to talk to me." Shobha asked while sitting beside her.

"Hello, aunty, I am fine. But I want to talk about something with you." Said Manya and nervously looked at Shobha.

"Oh bacha, don't be nervous, tell me what is bothering you." Said Shobha and held her hands for assurence.

"Aunty, umm... yesterday we three went to shopping." Said Manya. And told her about the incident that happened there while crying.

Shobha hugged her and consoled her with soothing words.

"Aunty, I don't know why I couldn't move from there. I was standing there, feeling numb. I don't know what happened to me." Said Manya while sobbing on her chest.

"Don't cry, Manya.its ok. It happened because of panic attack." Said Shobha and explained her about her behavior.

"You know Manya. Now you have a wonderful and loving family. They love and care for you so much. You should not think about your past. You should live your life happily and do the things that make you happy. Don't think about anything. Your problems will leave you automatically when you won't think about them." Said Shobha.

Manya looked at her While listening to her calmly.

"You know this is good that you talked about your problems with me." Said Shobha warmly smiling at her.

"I don't want to stress them with my problems. So I thought that I will talk about that incident with you and I am happy that you explain me so well. I'm feeling relieved after talking to you. Thank you so much aunty." said Manya.

"Oh Bacha, don't thank me it's my duty. And you are my friend's daughter, too. And Deepika's daughter is my daughter. Right?" Asked Shobha lovingly and patted her cheek with.

They both ended there conversation and Shobha called Arjun. They both left from there after biding bye to Shobha. Shobha reminded her that she should do things that make her happy. Manya nodded while promising her.

Manya's POV

I'm feeling good after talking to Shobha aunty. She is very good. She explained things to me so well. She is like Deepika ma.

I was thinking about our talk and her suggestions when Bhai called me and stopped the car. I thought we reached home but no, we had stopped infront of a big building. I looked at Bhai confusingly.

Bhai looked at me and chuckled at my confused expressions.

"Manya, this is my office. I have a little work here. If you don't mind, can we go home and bit later ? I will quickly finish my work." He asked.

"It is important. Otherwise I would've cancelled.." He was explaining when I cut him mid way.

"It's okay. I have no problem and by this way, I'll also see your office." I said and smiled.

We entered his private lift and reached his cabin. Bhai told me to sit at the couch placed there and called his assistant, telling her to bringing some file.

His assistant came with a file in his hand and bhai introduce me to him. He asked him to bring three cups of coffee for us.

I was just wondering why did he order three cups when someone entered the cabin after a knock on the door and sat beside me.

I looked beside me and noticed that it was Arhaan. He also looked at me and I bet he was also thinking about my presence here.

We broke our eye contact when Bhai greeted him and told him that he was with me at the hospital earlier today when his assistant called him for a meeting with him so he brought me here with him.

Arhaan apologised for not knowing about us being in the hospital and calling for the meeting all of a sudden.

"It's okay, Arhaan. Not a big deal. So what's the matter you wanted to talk about?" Asked Bhai.

"Oh yeah, My assistant informed me about some legal issue with our second project's location. So I wanted to talk about that, for your permission to hire a new lawyer for this issue."  Said Arhaan.

"Oh okay. but why a new lawyer? Mr. Shukla, your personal lawyer is brilliant in these matter." Asked Bhai.

"I know. But he is out of country for my other works. So I was thinking we should have hire a new lawyer." Said Arhaan.

"Okay! You have someone in mind?" Asked Bhai.

"Yeah, what about miss Sakshi, your company's lawyer?" Asked Arhaan while suggesting.

"Okay. I will talk to her." Said Bhai.

They were talking, and I was looking here and there and noticed that the walls of the cabin has grey and black colours on it. The furniture is also black and grey. There was a big window behind bhai's desk that showed a good view of the city.

I also wanted to do a job. It was my dream to became a working woman. I wanted to earn money by myself. With that money I wanted to complete my studies.

I completed my graduation with the help of dada ji. My parents didn't want to spend a single penny on me and my education. But Dada ji fulfilled my wish and I completed my graduation with his help.

I always thought why do they hate me so much? They loved Rachna and Samar so much. My thoughts broke when someone touched my left cheek. I looked up to see Bhai.

"You okay? I was calling you but you lost your thoughts. And why have you got tears in your eyes?" Bhai Asked worriedly.

I didn't even notice that I had tears in my eyes. I was so lost in my past.

"No Bhai, I'm fine. And I'm not crying." I said and smiled.

"Okay. I was calling you for your coffee, it's getting cold." Said Bhai.

I nodded and picked up the cup. In this conversation with Bhai I noticed someone watching me continuously. Arhaan.

"Why is he looking at me continuously?" I thought.

I looked at him and it had no effect on him. He was still staring at me. I was feeling awkward. Suddenlly bhai's phone rang that broke his stare. Bhai received the call and excused himself.

I was drinking my coffee when I heard him clearing his throat. I looked at him.

"You know, lying is a bad thing." He said and I looked at him confused.

"You are talking to me?" I asked.

"Is someone else here except me and you?" He asked, looking at me intensely.

"I know you lied to Arjun. You were thinking about something that made you sad, that's why you were crying." He said, making me shocked. I looked at him and thought, how he knew that?

"I know you don't want to show your pain to everyone and you don't want to worry anyone. It might be good for them but not for you." He said.

I looked at my hands that rested on my lap while listening him.

"You have to forget your past and think about your future." He said.

I silently listened him. And smiled that he and his mother has the same thinking.

"Why are you smiling? I was talking to you, seriously." He said and I looked at me in confusion. I just shook my head.

"No, I was thinking about you and your mom. You both are the same."

"What?" He asked with confusion.

"Yeah.. what you just said. Your mom told exactly the same." I said and smiled at him.

After listening to me he also smiled looking at me.

Arjun Bhai interupted our conversation. After talking sometime more we left from there towards our destination.
