About 6 weeks later...

Jungkook's POV

The past month or so with Serena has been really good. Like almost perfect. Except for the fact we still hadn't figured out who tried to shoot at us that day. It kept all of us slightly on edge and wary about who we dealt with now. Nothing has happened since that incident and we were thinking that maybe whoever planned it died in the shoot out. But, we were still cautious, just in case.

Serena has been spending most of her time at our place now and my members don't mind at all. If anything, they love having her around. And I love that my brothers have made her a part of our Bangtan family.

Some days when we come home after having a tiring day of chasing or beating people up, Serena has dinner all ready and waiting for us. Jin adores her now because of that as he doesn't have to cook for us all the time and they've bonded a bit when they cook together.

She also cleans around the house and our rooms when she's free, sometimes does mine or the guys' laundry, which Jin and Hobi love as there's an extra pair of hands keeping the house clean.

Yoongi, being the quiet protective big brother, has been spending a bit more time with Serena too, but mainly so he can see the twins. He has a soft spot for Jazzy. When Serena needs to help her brother Ryan with taking the kids to school some days or pick them up, Yoongi is first to offer to escort her.

Taehyung and her have also gotten much much closer. If he wasn't like a brother to me I'd be worried I would lose her to him. But I know he sees her as the sister he's never had. And maybe even like a mother figure, even though she's younger than him by a year. She provides him with the tender love and care one needs from a mother or family member.

When he's down in the dumps from stuffing up a mission, or when he's just sad from overthinking things, she has this strange sense and just knows straight away he's upset and is the first person to comfort him and get his mind off things. She'll make him a special hot chocolate with tiny marshmallows and cream and also play games with him. One time she even baked his favourite dessert to cheer him up.

A few times when I've had to work late or am busy beating some guy in our basement quite late into the night, I'll come up and find her waiting for me with Tae on the couch, all snuggled up together.

Regular boyfriends would most likely get mad or jealous, but me, I find it quite sweet. Mainly because the way they snuggle is with Tae being the little spoon or with him snuggling into her rather than her snuggling into him.

As for me, I totally love that I get to sleep and cuddle with her most nights. The nights when she doesn't stay over, I struggle getting to sleep or when I do, I have a shit sleep.
She also gives me great massages after I've had a hard day. I think she more so does it to feel me up though as I know she loves my biceps and muscles, but I'm not complaining. She makes me happy and my brothers happy. I couldn't ask for more.

We're all out at a Korean BBQ place to celebrate Jimin's birthday that was a few days ago, Hwasa and Jessi included. He and Hwasa are officially a thing now and she and Jessi now know the real us. They were surprisingly all good about it and were understanding of our need to keep it a secret.

We had finished with dinner and were looking at desserts when Serena got a call. She went outside to take it as we were getting a bit loud. When she came back looking all stressed and worried, I was immediately on edge and so were my members.

"I need to go. That was the police. Something happened to my apartment." She was shaking as she quickly grabbed her purse.

I held her face for her to look at me, "Don't stress. We'll go with you."

"But you guys haven't had dessert yet."

JM: "Fuck dessert. If you're this worried then we're coming with you."

Siri: "I'm really sorry ChimChim."

JM: "I'll get my dessert later, don't worry about that" He said smirking at Hwasa who smacked his arm playfully and blushed.

3rd person POV

Blazing orange fire and smoke.

That's all that could be seen coming from Serena's apartment from the car. There were dozens of firemen and police surrounding the area trying to put the fire out.

"Oh my god! Stop the car!" Serena shouted as she lunged for the door handle in panic.

As soon as she was out of the car, she ran.

Ran straight for the blazing hot fire and black smoke.

Jungkook was filled with worry and ran right after her. She was going to kill herself if she went in there. He had to stop her. He couldn't lose her.

BTS, Hwasa and Jessi got out of the two big cars they came in and ran after the couple. They all watched in horror as Serena barged her way past the police that had cordoned off the area. Police were yelling at her to stop, but she didn't stop.

Jungkook, being so fast, managed to catch her and wrapped his arms around her in a back hug. Serena kicked and squirmed, trying to pry his arms off of her.

"NOOO! LET ME FUCKING GO! JUNGKOOK! LET ME GOOO!" She cried out, tears streaming down her face.

Jungkook grunted as he held her tight while she bounced around trying to get out of his hold.

"DAISY'S IN THERE! MY BABY'S IN THERE! MY BABYYYY!!!" She cried at the top of her lungs with so much pain.

To Serena, it felt like she was losing her baby all over again. And this time, she won't get to keep any piece of Daisy because the fire will destroy it all. She's lost her baby forever now...

Jungkook couldn't do anything but hold Serena tight as she dropped to the ground in defeat, crying out loudly for the loss of her baby again.

Tears were starting to enter his eyes as he could see and feel her pain as she let out gut wrenching sobs. Not that words would be of any use right now, but Jungkook hated that he couldn't say anything to her.

He couldn't say the words he wanted to say in her ear. Words like 'I'm here for you' or 'I love you'.

Nothing. He could say nothing.

He's never hated having his disability so much until right now.

The others were behind the couple and they all felt so much sadness and pity for Serena. Over the weeks Serena has been getting closer with BTS, they learnt about her unborn baby's name and where Serena keeps her ashes.

Taehyung immediately went over and hugged Serena from the front since Jungkook was hugging her back. He cradled her face as she sobbed into his chest. She gripped Taehyung's shirt tight into her fist and her body was shaking uncontrollably from how much she was crying.

"Noooo! My babyyy! Daisyyyy!" Serena's crying and whining filled the air.

Taehyung started getting tears in his eyes now too as he could see his youngest brother was also upset with the fact that he literally couldn't say anything to comfort the love of his life.

Everyone could only watch as Serena cried with pain and agony.

No one could do anything.

No one could say anything.

Nothing would ever be enough to comfort a mother who has lost their child.
