John and Jackson's shifts had just finished when they came to help me in Zoe's office. 'Oh, good, you're finally here.' I said, not looking up at them, but I saw them from the corner of my eye. 'Good evening to you too?' John joked as they walked in. 'Sorry, good evening.' I smiled slightly at them. 'So, what is our job here?' Jackson asked. 'We are going to sort papers. I know it's not the most colorful job, but all those papers you see here, need to be sorted and moved to the copy room.' I explained. 'Sorting papers sounds better than filling them out.' Jackson stated. 'Yes, Nyla and Angela were not really happy to hear that they had to fill out the paperwork today, because we needed to do this.' John added, laughing. 'Well, you're going to be sorting and moving about 350 pounds of papers up and down those stairs so I hope your old back will survive that.' I threw back at him, joking. It worked because their smiles faded quickly off their faces. 'You sure know how to motivate people.' Jackson said, sarcastically. 'Yes, I'm not that old.' John added. 'Sorry guys, they're just the facts.' I giggled.

'Anyway, I came up with a sorting system. Some of the cases got closed millions of years ago. If they are, you put them in this box.' I pointed at the cardboard box with 'Closed Cases' on it. 'If they aren't closed, you put them in one of these boxes. This one if for cases letters A to M and the right one is for N to Z.' Also that I had written on the boxes to keep it organized. 'Very clear, right?' I added and they both look impressed. 'Great, where can we start?' John asked. 'You two can start with that big closet behind you and I'll start with these files I found in her desk.' I explained. 'You went through Captain's stuff?' Jackson asked, a little shocked. 'Yes, I have, ehh.' I needed to come up with a lie, quickly. 'I have talked to Grey and he told me that someone had already taken out all her personal belongings.' I lied, because that someone was me, but they weren't allowed to know that, yet. 'Okay, well let's get started.' John smiled and I turned around to start with the cases I found this morning, but before I could start I saw a familiar face in the door opening.

It was Tim, leaning against the door frame, staring at me. 'Hi.' I said. 'Hi, can I talk to you?' he asked, tilting his head back to let me know I needed to follow him out. I quickly looked over at John and Jackson, who were staring at us. I nodded and walked out behind him. We took a couple steps down the hall so they couldn't hear what we were talking about. 'How long do you think this is going to take?' He asked me. 'My guess is that the sorting will take about 2 to 3 hours. Tomorrow ,we'll be moving and organizing it to the copy room.' I answered. 'Okay, so I'll see you around 10?' He asked to make sure. 'Yes, I'll be there.' I said and walked back into the office.

The guys had already started so I started too. We worked in silence for a couple of minutes. 'So, when are you going to tell us what is going on?' Jackson said. I was a little disturbed by the question. I just didn't expect it. 'Honestly.' I started. 'I hope you guys find out for yourself, before I'm ready to explain. But for now, It's just me, Grey and Tim who know.' I explained, my heart heavy and they could hear it in my voice. 'Okay... You're making us worry.' John said. 'Wait, you trusted Tim with your problems but not us?' Jackson asked and I snapped under the weight for what happened today. 'Can we please not do this right now! I Know you're worried, but right now, you're making me feel guilty for protecting myself from the pain!' I shouted and John and Jackson looked at me in shock and held back a little. I turned around with tears in my eyes. 'I barely survived the last two days so if you could keep the comments about it to a minimum, that would be great!' I added before turning around. I started sorting the cases again, angrily. 'Sorry, we just wanted to help you. It...' Jackson apologized and I stared up at the wall in front of me, trying to hold in my anger. 'Wow, what did I just say?' I asked, turning around. I hadn't even noticed that I started crying. I couldn't stand being around them any longer. I threw the file I had in my hands on the desk but I missed and it fell to the floor. Pages fell out and landed all over the floor but I didn't care. 'I'm getting some fresh air.' I said angrily while storming out.

I didn't even know why I got so triggered. This morning they were also asking questions without me getting mad, but this felt different. It was like they were personally attacking me for grieving my loss. I walked to the bathroom and locked myself in one of the stalls. It was a good thing that I didn't bring any sharp objects with me, or else I would probably be covered in red. As soon as I locked the door, I broke down. My body was shaking so I sat down on the floor. It was gross but I had no other option. My breathing was trembling and it fastened his pace. I covered my mouth with my hands, trying not to make too much sound.
