The window was shattered, broken glass sprayed all across the ground. Multiple people now stood in the room, soldiers of the Diabolos family.

And even worse, heading them, was Luna Diabolos. In hand she held her giant, black rugged sword.

"Do you understand what you are doing?" Camilla spoke, standing in front of me with a menacing gaze. "This is a direct assault against the royal family of the Dark Kingdom."

"Yes, we do." Luna simply replied, no emotion whatsoever on her face. "Jackson Walker must pay for his crimes. Being a royal from the Dark Kingdom does not grant him immunity from his sins."

"You act as if your own family doesn't commit their own sins." Dracula emerged from the hallway.

The guard that I had noticed was different from before lunged at Dracula in an attempt to subdue him. However, Dracula easily grabbed the guard by the face and chucked him into the wall.

"Did you really think you could take us on like this?" Dracula sighed.

The rushing of footsteps was heard, and behind him suddenly appeared all my friends in worry. They looked upon the scene in surprise.

I saw Luna visibly frown.

"You've stolen both of her descendants...?" She muttered. "Unacceptable."

"Leave. Right now." Camilla demanded. "Or else this will be war. One which starts with your head."

"King Lucifer expected this outcome." Luna stated. "It seems that no further conversation is required."

"Then so be it." Dracula snarled.

He dashed forwards, vanishing in the air and reappearing almost right in front of Luna in seconds. He outstretched his hand, Luna barely dodging and gripping his wrist.

"Sloth." She spoke, the one word seemingly holding limitless weight.

He froze, his feet suddenly cracking the ground. He swiped at Luna again, noticeably slower this time. Luna swung her sword with surprising speed, Dracula just barely getting out of the way.

What just happened? Luma can't be stronger than Dracula...can she?

He retreated back to his wife, who grabbed him in worry. "What did you do to me?" He demanded furiously.

"Why would I tell you?" Luna replied. She looked over to the soldiers she had come with. They brandished guns, once again catching me by surprise.

People in the Underworld don't use tech like this that often! And yet, here were multiple demons wielding guns and armor like modern soldiers from our world.

I've only seen things this high tech from...

The Diabolos Family.

They had that orb which temporarily froze Madam Webb. They had the helicopters with the machine guns. They have these real assault rifles and other weapons.

That doesn't matter right now. Before that, I need to figure out how we get out of this. We may be strong, but we aren't impervious to bullets.

Someone will get shot inevitably.

And one of us could die.

I can't let that happen.

I glanced back at my friends. The worry and confusion held on their faces was evident. And even more so was Dawn's concern for her mother and father.

An image of Madam Webb flashed across my mind.

Madam Webb let out a sharp gasp. I whirled my head towards her, eyes widening as I saw blood seep from her stomach as she looked down with shocked eyes. Her arms started to shake more, barely supporting.

A knife materialized from the air, Newton suddenly standing there with the object imbedded in her gut.

Not again.

"Jack..." Madam Webb's voice barely came out as she laid within my arms. "Live...for me. And protect them..."

She let out a weak chuckle. "Goodbye..."

Not again!

NO!

I have to do something!

Think Jackson, think! If only Sally was here! She'd have some good idea! Probably something like buying something from the [Shop], but I can't access that with only my mind without Sally!

Wait, hold on. The [Shop]...

I have an idea.

I imagined it coming out of my inventory. And just as I had hoped there it appeared, the singular [Explosive Rubber Duck] I got from the [Shop].

Right there, in the palm of my hand, was sitting what seemed to be a regular rubber ducky.

"Hey Luna." I spoke up.

She looked towards me, raising an eyebrow. "Let me guess, you'll go peacefully now-" She paused, noticing the item in my hand. "Is that a rubber duck?"

"Catch this." I grinned, chucking it forwards.

It flew forwards, flying straight into the soldiers and suddenly exploding. While not doing a lot of damage like it had warned, it knocked many soldiers off their feet and generally caused enough confusion.

"What the hell?!" Someone cried.

"Charge!" Dawn suddenly screamed, both my friends and Dawn's parents rushing forwards.

"Go Boo! Attack!" I pulled out the tiny slime from out of my pocket, launching it into the face of some poor soldier.

I then summoned my [Chains of Holy Fire], launching them forwards at Luna. She blocked it with her sword, causing the chains to wrap around it.

She then gripped the chains with one of her hands, muttering something, and suddenly I felt like I was struggling on keeping my body upright.

Maybe this wasn't the best approach.

She yanked on the chain, sending me flying towards her. I brought my feet up, landing them onto her sword as a platform while it was still vertical.

I summoned my [Frozen Iron Sword] as Luna flung her sword upwards, throwing me into the air with the chain still attacked to the shield.

I retracted on the chain, sending me hurtling down at a quick speed towards her. I swung my sword at her body, missing as she sidestepped out of the way as I hoped.

I hit the ground, creating cracks across the stone. As my sword touched the ground, ice started to spread across and attach itself to Luna's feet.

She cursed, bringing her other hand out and surprising me as it suddenly erupted in a familiar purple fire.

[Danger Sense]!

"Chaos Fire." I gasped as she suddenly sent a blast of it towards me.

I swung through it with my [Frozen Iron Sword], attempting to both dissipate and freeze it in order to make sure it didn't hit any of my friends currently fighting.

Anna's currently wrecking people with her multiple spider legs, John doing something similar but also protecting Brutus.

Sapphire was taking soldiers out left and right with her dragon claws as Krystal confused them with her illusions.

Angela had holy fire blazing across her fists as she punched people across the room, while Lilia was throwing crosses and making the soldiers scream in extreme pain.

Dracula and Camilla worked in perfect sync despite how one of them was slowed down. This was easily showing that they have been together for a long time.

"Don't...look away..." Luna growled, seemingly more upset than I have ever seen her before. "...from our fight!"

Another ball of chaos fire burst from her hand, but instead of being wild and large like the late Duncan's, rather it was smaller and more compact.

It felt like it was packing some serious firepower, somewhat like it was a larger ball of chaos fire condensed into a smaller space.

[Danger Sense] screamed at me, but I already knew what to do. I extended my demon arm, the eye on the back of my hand shooting open as I spoke that one word.

"Gluttony." I stated.

The chaos fire absorbed into [Demon Arm Beelzebub] as it approached, and I could practically feel the arm level up from the power packed into that orb of fire.

"You-" She gasped.

Taking her moment of surprise to my advantage, I dashed forwards despite my reduced speed and swung my sword.

The handle of my blade, where my hand was resting, smacked straight into her head, sending her crashing to the ground.

She held her head, and just to make sure, I punched her one more time with my demon arm. She laid there, knocked out, and while I felt a little bad I also kind of felt like she had it coming a little.

As soon as she went unconscious I could feel a weight lift from my shoulders. Whatever she had done to Dracula, she had done to me as well.

I looked back to the others, but they were already all completed with the soldiers. Dracula cracked his neck, standing back at full strength.

"Looks like this means war between the Dark Kingdom and Hell." Dracula frowned. "I'll be putting out a public announcement tomorrow. For now, we take them to the dungeons."

"There's dungeons here?" I questioned.

"Of course there are dungeons here, Prince!" Camilla smiled brightly.

I don't like how common-sense that seems to you. I mean, I guess it is a castle...

Wait, hold on, Prince?

Why have you suddenly started calling me Prince?!
