"again" I hear Clown call out as the sight of our 8 year old daughter goes at the tree with an axe again.

I sigh sitting on the porch with our 7 year old, 6 year old and our youngest a 5 year old.

I hear the thump of the axe on the wood hit the tree over and over again as it has for the past year.

Since she was 7 Harley has begun her training.

When I fought with clown about this he argued that we never got trained and it would keep her safer.

Especially from Parrot.

I didn't argue after that.

I haven't seen anyone from lifesteal minus Rek who hasn't gotten his shit worked out yet with Foolish yet for some reason despite living together for such a long time.

Me and Clown joined a personal family server where we don't have to do much except pay for the upkeep of the server.

There we had 3 other kids who thankfully didn't have me running through the woods away from fire.

"Mom" my 7year old son Zany asks.

"Yeah?" I ask

Zany points to Harley and Clowns training. "When can I do that?"

I laugh and pat his head. "In 1 year like I promised."

Our 6 year old Keric and 5 year old Rotan reply in answer

"We want to go with Dad too tho!" They say begging

I pat their heads.

"Your time will come eventually and until then you can learn tricks from me.

Keric smiles widely " I love your tricks!! " She says

Rotan scoffs " that's boring mom I wanna train!!! "

I laugh " what a warrior just like your father. "

I stand up " time for a break! " I tell out to them.

Harley comes running back smiling with clown closely behind.

I stand up and begin to meet them halfway with the other 3 following as well.

And when Harley gives me a hug and when clown picks up the boys I know everything is almost completely at peace.

Almost at peace enough to make me forget about parrot.

Thankfully it's not there yet.

Oh dear while we are here let's figure out where the names come from!!!

Harley-8- girl- harelequinn is another name for a jester.

Zany-7- boy- another name for Jester as well

Keric - 6- girl - put joker and antic together to get Keric.

Rotan-5- boy- pierrot and comedian put together is Rotan (also pierrot is another name for a jester)
