YuJin's P.O.V
"Wait, YuJin!"
I stop in my tracks and turn around to see Mark sheepishly scratching the back of his head.
"There's a party tonight at my place, it'd be great if you could come." He said whilst looking at his shoes.
"Yah, Tuannie, why are you being so shy? Of course." I reply, trying not to laugh at his shyness as his face lights up with a smile.
-
"Ew no not this one."
I sighed disapprovingly in the mirror for the nth time whilst staring at my reflection.
You know, if this was any other normal day in which I was going to Mark Tuan's house, I wouldn't give a flying fuck as to what I wore.
Hell, I'd show up in my grubby PJ's.
But it's a party, so I must dress accordingly. That's the only reason. What other reason would there be? It's not like I care about the opinions of others, especially not that of Im Jaebum pfffft haahahahhaahahaha-
shut up.
After pairing the 37th outfit, I finally came to a conclusion. I wore a tan brown button up denim skirt, paired with a plain white t-shirt tucked into my skirt, an oversized blue denim jacket and white converses.
I simply brushed out my long brown locks before making my way out.

I looked down at my phone, opening the video from SuMi who seemed to be already there drinking and dancing with bambam.
sumi <3:
whrw r ysu ¿
me:
damn how drunk are you?
sumi<3:
idkwht ur tking abg
huruh uppppplsl
me:
okkk I'm almost there
On the way, I silently promised myself not to drink no matter what the circumstances are. I'm not sure I can handle the embarrassment if Jaebum somehow changes me again.
I shake the thoughts out of my head before my cheeks begin to heat up again.
Before I know it, I'm standing in front of Mark Tuan's house, the blaring music and distortion of chattering and cheering shaking the ground beneath me.
I'd hate to be the neighbours right now.
Is too late to just turn around? I mean, I could just go home and tell Mark I came down with something. But then again I already told SuMi I was on my way, and I don't wanna bail on Mark. What if-
The front door suddenly swung open, startling me out of my thoughts causing me to slightly jump back with a hand on my chest.
"Yah you..." I was about to scold whoever it was for opening the door so suddenly and almost putting me into cardiac arrest before I looked up, only to lock eyes with Im Jaebum.
yay.
just my luck.
I looked away from his annoyingly captivating eyes, attempting to redirect my focus on anything else, anything else at all.
No not his tousled dark hair or his beautiful pillowy lips YuJin, stop. Not his perfectly chiselled jawline either, definitely not the way his bare chest is peeking out from behind his unbuttoned black shirt holy mother of-
ok get yourself together before you end up looking like a tomato again.
"Are you gonna come in or just stand there staring at me?"
His question renders me speechless and I do nothing but scoff and slip past him, entering the chaos.
It takes me a while to spot SuMi but I decide she's a little busy after seeing her and bambam practically eating each other's faces off.
I decide to look for Mark instead, slipping past a collision of sweating bodies with an inaudible "excuse me" being drowned out by the deafening music.
I felt a hand tap me on the shoulder and I turned around, seeing the face I had been looking for.
"You made it!" He yelled over the music.
"Yeah." I said, fiddling with the hem of my oversized jacket sleeves. I've always been uncomfortable in parties, it's not my thing; thankfully, Mark can sense that.
"Cmon." He took my hand and led me to a room upstairs with less people. Still people. But just less of them.
They were all sat in a circle, in the middle of the circle was a bottle.
Oh hell no.
I ain't stupid, I've watched more than enough movies to know these games always end badly.
"Oh hey YuJin!" Jackson called out cheerily, his familiar cheeky grin plastered across his face as he sat with his legs criss-crossed on the floor like a 5 year old kid.
You know, if you hadn't heard the frightening stories about this boy, you'd think he was just a cheeky little kid.
"Hey Jackson." I smiled, waving at the boy. Some of the girls in the room had noticed my entrance and gave me the nastiest looks of the century, whispering to one another - probably judging me from head to toe.
well damn, salty much?
I ignored their pettiness and watched as the game continued, refusing to join in.
Let's just say there was a lot of touching in places there shouldn't be touching, and I very quickly became uncomfortable.
"Omg look at her, she's closing her eyes!" One girl pointed at me, startling me.
"What a freak" Another scoffed before chewing her gum obnoxiously loud.
"No way! Is she a virgin?!" Another chorused causing an eruption of laughter.
"Virgin! Virgin! Virgin!" They began to chant causing me to bite my lip out of anxiousness, tears blurring my vision and threatening to spill.
I stand up to leave and feel Mark's hand on my arm, "YuJin-"
"I'm fine Mark. I just need some fresh air." I lie, keeping my composure as best as I can before walking out as fast as my legs can take me.
I walk to the massive back yard, out into the sudden rain, not caring if I get drenched as long as I can get some air.
Taking deep breaths, I manage to blink back the tears and regain full composure.
I quickly run underneath the hood of the swing set for shelter against the rain - slightly shivering in the cold.
Despite the rain, it's peaceful.
Suddenly, my eyes land on a figure lying nearby under a tree, they're probably completely drenched, what are they doing?
I look around to see anyone nearby that might be willing to help them but nobody's here.
I sigh and quickly run over to them, only to see none other than Im Jaebum, lying under the tree completely soaked and shivering violently.
I feel a pang in my heart and there's nothing more I want to do in this moment than to hold him.
"Yah Im Jaebum!" I call, concern evidently lacing my voice.
His eyes slowly flutter open, I softly remove his wet bangs from the front of his face and press the back of my hand against his forehead.
I can feel him staring at my every movement but at this point it doesn't matter.
"Yah you have a fever. Idiot, who told you to come and have a shower in the rain outside. Do you not care about your health?-"
"YuJin." He cut off my rant with a slur before sitting up. His voice was low and weak, his breathed reeked of alcohol.
"And on top of that you're drunk, you never drink like this, what happened?"
"You happened."
My eyes slightly widen in surprise as I lock eyes with his.
"You happened Lee YuJin, I don't know how and when but you've done something to me I can't explain. You're making me go crazy and I don't know what to do.
You make me want to be a better person, I can't stand seeing you upset or in pain, I only wanna see a smile on your beautiful face. I want to protect you from the world and hold you. I don't know what this is, all I know is that I need you."
I open my mouth attempting to say something but nothing comes out.
"J-Jaebum, you're drunk." I say, but in reality that excuse is to convince myself that those words aren't coming out of Im Jaebum.
All of a sudden, I feel his head on my chest and his arms wrapped around my small figure.
"Please YuJin. I need you."
-
Mark's P.O.V
"Mark Oppa~"
I looked down at the creature clinging onto my arm.
"Why would you go after a virgin when you have someone who's experienced right here." She slurs flirtatiously and I had to stop myself from throwing up then and there.
I shook her off of me, "You disgust me. Get the fuck out of my house." I growled before turning to the rest of the girls who were now also scared, "All of you."
I made my way out of the room before looking in every corner of the house for YuJin.
I looked outside to see the merciless rain pounding down relentlessly.
"Shit." I muttered, my stomach twisting from the thought of her drenched in the rain.
I quickly ran out into my back yard but stopped as I spotted two figures under a tree nearby.
It was Jaebum and YuJin.
I watched as he rested his head on her chest and wrapped his arms around her.
"Please YuJin. I need you."
I tore my eyes away from the scene, a sad smile flickering onto my face.
I knew I didn't stand a chance
