Erick's POV:

We were in the car. It was silent. The silence broke when she said, "so why did you decide to take me out?" "You'll find out later" I turned and winked at her.

Her cheeks turned a light shade of pink and said, "you're full of secrets erick."

We finally arrived at the restaurant. We ordered pasta. As we were eating, we talked and talked. I got to know more about Jazmin and I realized that I'm falling more and more in love with her.

"I've told enough about myself. What about you? You're past life?" She said.

I was shocked at what she said. No one ever asks me about my life. This means...she cares?

"I...I um I don't know what to say. No one has ever asked me to talk about my life."

"It's okay." She flashed a smile. "At least I know I'm the first one who has asked."

I felt my cheeks get warm. All I did was smile. We were done with food and we walked to my car. We both went inside and I started driving.

"So where are we going now?" She asked.

"Somewhere."

"Please! Tell me!" She pouted making a puppy face.

"Fine, I'll tell you."

"Yay! Where are we going?" she said with her voice full of excitement.

"We're going to the beach." I smiled and looked at her.

Her face lit up. "Really?! I've never been to the beach!"

"Really?"

"Yeah! I'm happy I'm going with you. But I feel bad for Chris since he's not here." She said with a sad face.

"It's fine one day we're all gonna go."

"That'll be fun!" Her smile appeared again.

I love when she smiles. It kills me a little every time she does.

After two hours, we finally arrived at the beach. We took off our shoes and started to walk in the sand. She let go of my hand to run around in the sand.

She rolled up her jeans and let the cold water run on her feet. She actually looked, happy. I smiled at her running around in the sand.

We sat on a big rock. I had my arm around her as we were watching the sunset and she shivered. "I'll be back" I said. I ran to the car and got a blanket. I ran back and put the blanket around her. She smiled and said, "thanks"

The sun finally when down. I stood up and said, "can I sing you a song?"
Her face lit up. "You sing!" "Yeah, can I sing to you?" "Yeah!"

I had just finished my song. I was surprised I finished it in a couple days. I guess I had a lot to say.

I took a deep breath.

I continued to sing the song until I finished. When I looked towards Jazmin she had her mouth covered by her hands, and tears in her eyes.

I smiled and walked up to her. I wiped her tears with my thumbs. I kneeled down on one knee and said, "Jazmin Velez? Would you like to be my girlfriend?" "E-Erick I don't know what to say, it's not about Marco, it's about me barely loving myself."

I chuckled and said "I'll help you love yourself." "Fine, I would love to be your girlfriend!" She ran towards me and hugged me with her face buried in my chest. We stayed like that for a while, until she pulled away.

"S-Should we tell Christopher a-about...us?" Jazmin said with a hint of worry in her voice.

"He kinda knows about our date, so...I'm not sure."

"I think we should tell him... I don't like keeping secrets from him." (a/n or do you? :) 🤔)

"Okay. It seems like the right thing to do. Y-You wanna go home?" I asked.

"Can we stay a bit longer?" She asked politely.

"Yeah. We can stay as long as you want." I smiled.

"I..." she looked down and muttered, "I-I love you Erick."

"Hmm? I didn't hear you." I lied.

"I said I love you!" She raised her voice sounding annoyed. Cute.

"Love you too babe." I winked.

She blushed and looked away.

We stayed a bit longer but it started to get late so we decided to go home.

The car ride was fun. We were jamming out to our favorite music. "Broccoli" comes on and Jazmin yells "ayyyee!!"

I laughed at her behavior. I've never seen her like this. I always saw her either mad or sad, maybe, just maybe, she was depressed. But I'm not sure. I hope I get to change her, and help her to get to love herself.

When we arrived, I parked my car and turned down the music. "Aw man!" She whined. "Chill Jazmin we're home." I said.

We got out the car. She took the keys from her pocket and opened the door. Chris was sitting on the couch watching tv. I checked the time on my phone and it read, 12:35 am. Shit.

"Why are you guys late." Chris asked.

"W-We were at the beach." Jazmin said a little too quickly.

"Are you sure about that?" He asked.

"Erick can you help me out? Please?" She pleaded.

"Yeah sure." I turned towards Chris's direction and said, "we actually were at the beach. Before that , we were at the restaurant. And I'm, and im kinda dating your sister now." I bit my lip waiting for his response.

"Is she still a virgin?" He asked.

"Chris what kind of question is that?!" Jazmin asked.

"Yeah, she is." I said nervously.

"Welcome to the family." Chris said getting up and we did a bro hand shake.

"What just happened?" Jazmin asked.

"Chris has been helping me to go on a date with you." I smiled.

"So is that why Chris has been telling stuff about me?" She asked.

"Yeah..." I said nervously.

"Aw! Chris I love you! I'm sorry I got mad at you!" She ran up to Chris and hugged him. Chris was weirded out a bit, but he hugged her back. Christopher and Jazmin Velez are definitely sibling goals. I smiled at my thought.

Me and Jazmin walked up stairs and stop at her room door. We looked In each other's eyes for a bit. I looked down at her lips and bit my lip. I leaned in and kissed her just like that. Her soft lips against mine.

I pulled away and said, "goodnight mi princessa."

She smiled and said, "goodnight Erick."
