KEERTHANA

We reached Vikram's house. All his relatives were waiting for our arrival. I was accompanied by my cousins (married women) for it was a new atmosphere. One of Vikram's aunt took 'Aarti'. I was pretending to be smiling. Then we went inside.

I was asked to light the diya in the puja room. I did and I was surrounded by Vikram's relatives. They started talking with me. I liked the way they I approached a new person in this house. Near me was Vikram. He was giving multiple expressions on his face. It was so funny.

I went to the kitchen. I saw Nandita and her cousins. Luckily, some were of my age and some were married. Then we had lunch. It was so good to have lunch with many people. They told me to take a small nap. But I told its fine and talked nicely.

All the kids called me for playing games. I played many games with them. By the time, it was 8:30 PM. Everyone started leaving. Many came from foreign. I told my cousins to leave. I found it easy here except Vikram.

I went to the kitchen to drink water. There, I saw Vikram drinking water. He turned to look at me and asked, "What is it?"
"Water."
He gave me glass of water. Paah.... Gentleman. "You found it easy here, right?" He asked.

"Of course.  I found it easy to mingle with everyone except one...."
"You are saying it is me indirectly, right?"
"It was directly said." I chuckled.
Then Nandita came. "What? Romance eh..." She asked smiling. "What are you doing here?" He asked her.

"Wait bro.... I will leave. Just came to take biscuits."
"You can stay here." Vikram said.
"I will disturb you privacy dude."
"Nandita..." Vikram took a step forward towards her and she ran away laughing. I laughed too. "Nandita is romantic actually..." He said.
"I know that."

Anyways, I felt so dizzy. So sleepy. I know where will they make me to sleep. In Vikram's room. Oh God!!! Just give me a nice sleep tonight.

VIKRAM

It was 10:30 PM. I refreshed myself and came other of my restroom. To my surprise, I saw Keerthana there. Her eyes were so drowsy with dark circles.
"What are you doing here?" I asked her.
"They sent me in." She said.
"So you are going to sleep here right?"
"Yes."
"Then I am on my bed. What about you?"
"Even I want bed. There is no couch or sofa to sleep."
I was thinking what to do. Then time found to extra pillows. I kept it for my body pain.

"We will use these pillows for separation."
We finally found the solution and executed it. I took the right corner and she the left.

"Officer, I will kick and talk in the middle. Please don't give me detention." And she slept, with her face on the other side. I wondered what will she do.

Middle of the night I turned to the other side. I saw Keerthana's face on the moon light. She was so tired. I felt pity for her.

But the next moment she kicked my leg so hard. She was right. "Ouch..." I whispered. She was so strong. She slept nicely. It was paining to the core. Now there was no one to feel pity for me.
