Ranamun had come over to have a chat with Latil. It turns out Latil and Ranamun did not in fact do the deed. Latil had sent a gift to him for formalities and stuff but he was here to return it back. You understood where Latil is coming from considering she didn't want to get pregnant before she stabilised her place on the throne but you thought she was a bit harsh on him with her words. You sighed but Latil had always been a bit blunt and clueless on some certain things.

"Well... You will be my man for the rest of your life. So what's the rush." Latil had said near the end of their meal which you think was a bit harsh but who were you to judge?

You took a glance at your brother. He seemed to be smiling to himself. Over the past few days you had been reminded of something from your childhood but you had been contemplating if it still held true till now or not. With this situation you finally concluded that it was true. With a few dots lying here, and a few dots lying there, you had connected them together pretty easily. Sir Sonnaught, your brother, still liked Latil. He did then and he still does now apparently.

Latil had caught Sonnaught smiling to himself. "Sir Sonnaught? Did something good happen?"

"Yes, Your majesty." He answered.

"They say sharing joy with someone increases it two fold, so go on, do share."

"It is a secret your majesty." Sir Sonnaught just grinned.

"Sure it is huh brother? I bet it has to do something with that?" You hinted at him. You gave him a knowing look as he looked at you a bit surprised which eventually turned into a smile as he noticed that you finally caught on. A talk was due after this it seems.

"I am afraid I cannot tell you since it is something close to my heart. I apologise." Sir Sonnaught told Latil looking a bit sheepish.

"Hmph! Still doesn't make me feel any better." Latil grumbled. "What about the letter thief, then? How is the investigation going?"

It was your turn to step in as you've been helping your brother with the investigation. "It's been a bit slow since my brother and I are the only ones looking into it. It would be nice to have some pair of extra hands but it's confidential so that's hard."

Latil seemed to be a bit guilty. "Is there anything I can help with?"

Sir Sonnaught seemed to think about it before replying. "A smile is all I need."

"A smile from whom?"

You swear you just facepalmed right there and then behind Latil. You gestured to your brother that you two were definitely having a talk after this. You liked how bold he is but you seriously wanted to pester him about it.

"From you of course."

"Jests aside, are you sure there isn't anything I can do to help you? Don't be shy and just tell me honestly. I am offering my help because the faster we catch the thief the better it is for me." Cue part 2 of you facepalming yourself.

"But that was no jest...." Poor Sir Sonnaught who had to go through this. "Then…”
