'What?'
'Go back to them. To your friends' he seemed to despise that word as well
'Uh..'
'NOW!' He didn't exactly yelled, only lifted his voice a little too much. It scared me, terrified me actually, but I wanted to know why he's just letting me go away after taking me away from there. From them
'Dad...' I squeaked. 'Why..? Why you suddenly letting me go now?'
I wish I would've never asked though. Cause what he said next, left me confused, perplexed, pained, and I don't know what more. But I felt destroyed
'Listen, kid. I'm not your dad alright. Your mother left you with me, saying she would come back but she never did. I know for a fact that she's still alive! I should've known she had lied! She didn't want you, I saw it, I knew it. She always said you were an accident, these were not my own words, they were hers. She's an awful woman, does not deserve her life' he mumbled the last part
And here I was again, walking the familiar streets once more after getting thrown out of that house. Again. I know that I was the one to get out of there and I was the one to close the door after me but, that was because if I wouldn't, he would've probably throw me out, again. And it would be like a deja vu. Again
There were voices yelling from afar, but I didn't care. People's fights were not my business. I couldn't do anything even if I wanted to. Funny though, it wasn't a fight
'Parker!' There were familiar voices calling my name but I could care less. I kept my head down as I kept walking until I stopped
Looking up I saw I was in the same alley, again. I didn't even notice I entered here. I guess my feet walked me in a familiar path, my heart and soul knowing it was a safe place, somewhere someone cared for me and made sure I wasn't hungry, or cold
'Parker!' Hearing my name again by their familiar voices, something in my brain snapped back in place. These are the people that cared for me and still do. If they didn't, they would not be here right now, running after me and calling my name like I was lost for way too long
I turned around, my eyes suddenly went from dry, to waterfalls. I was in some kind of shock all the way from that house to here
I fell on the ground, to my knees. All four of them hugged me tightly. I didn't care, I needed it so badly right now
After releasing me from that suffocatingly amazing hug, familiar hands carried me inside the familair room, where I felt safe. He sat me on the bed while all of them surrounded me. I felt so safe right now and couldn't hold anything back
