“Now we just have to think of names” he said, Rebecca nodded,

“We’ll sort it out tomorrow, lets sleep” she said closing her eyes. They both fell asleep with huge smiles on their faces that night.

Chapter 24

The babies had woken up several times in the night and Rebecca had fed and rocked them each time whilst Alex comforted the other baby.

When the babies woke up at seven am Rebecca decided they might was well get ready now, Rebecca went and took a shower whilst Alex watched the babies and then they swapped.

After the babies very fed washed and clothed in adorable pink and blue onesies Rebecca and Alex stood on the baloney a baby in each of their arms.

“I’ve been thinking about names” Rebecca said to Alex as she gazed down at the baby girl in her arms, Alex nodded,

“What were you thinking” he asked,

“I want to name her Kadence Jasmine” she said turning her gaze to him. He smiled and nodded at her,

“It’s a beautiful name, yes lets call her Kadence Jasmine and what about Brandon Skylar for him” Alex said,

“Brandon and Kadence, perfect” she said smiling, life felt so perfect right now she thought.

“We should call a pack meeting and introduce them to the pack” Alex said proudly,

“We should, but are you sure you don’t just want to show them off” Rebecca replied with a grin,

“Of course I do” he grinned “there the most perfect babies ever” he said with a smirk. Rebecca rolled her eyes,

“Call the meeting now then, I bet everyone’s itching to see them after you yelled their arrival though the pack link” she said grinning. Ignoring her comment Alex called the meeting and they both headed towards the meeting room.

As they walked over towards the stage everybody’s heads turned to face them and a round of applause filled the air and a series of congratulations swept the room. They stepped up onto the stage and turned to face everybody,

“Thank you all, this is Kadence Jasmine” she said showing them the baby girl in her arms,

“And this is Brandon Skylar” Alex said “as I’m sure you all know they were born yesterday and I’m sure they will be a great addition to our pack” he said proudly.

BANG, a load crash sounded from the side of the building,

“Alicia” Rebecca whispered “small women and children lets go down to the basement, Alex I cant leave the babies, pass me Brandon we need to move” she said her voice in Alpha. Alex nodded and carefully handed her Brandon as relief flooded though him that she didn’t insist on fighting.

Holding on the Kadence and Brandon tightly she led the small women and children down into the basement, they passed though several titanium doors, the only thing that would show any resistance to werewolves without harming them, locking the huge doors behind them.

They where in a huge room there was a TV and several entertainment consoles at one end of the room a sitting area at the other and a kitchen stocked with enough food to last them weeks, though hopefully they wouldn’t need it.

Rebecca sat down on the sofa and Sapphire put a movie in for the children, she closed her eyes and felt Alex though the mate link, she felt a whoosh and suddenly she could see though his eyes.

He was stood in the centre of the hall one of the walls had been knocked down and Alicia and her feral pack stood there growling at them, Alicia was stood in the middle of the feral pack with a crazed look on her face,

“Why her, why does she get you and the pack and the babies, it was all supposed to be mine, you where supposed to be mine!!” she yelled at him fury in her voice,

“I was never supposed to be yours Alicia, I was always supposed to be hers, you, you were just a fling, a girl I met when I was traveling, I am not yours like you will never be mine, just stop this madness, leave and never come back” he said as regret filled his body, he wished he had never met this girl then his mate and pups would not be in danger right now.

“Your where mine” she screamed “and now she will pay” she yelled her voice deadly, she shifted into wolf form and her feral pack ran towards him.

Whilst Alex was busy fighting the three wolves that had attacked him Alicia went out of his view.

Rebecca blinked; she knew Alicia and she’d be on her way here right now, and for one reason only, to kill her.

Alex’s POV

I threw wolf after wolf of me and yelled for my pack members back up, seconds later the wolves where quickly thrown off me and I looked around quickly for Alicia. She was no were in sight, I sniffed, she was heading towards the basement, turning around I raced quickly after her.

My ears twitched and I let out a growl she’d made it though most of the doors, one more door and she would be into the basement, I raced towards her as I heard the last door open and the terrified screams of children filled the air.

Rebecca’s POV

I saw the last door open and an enraged Alicia in wolf form burst though the door, in one fluid movement I passed Kadence and Brandon to Sapphire and Alice and raced towards her shifting as I reached her.

We circled each other as growls ripped though the air; the other women had shifted and had formed a protective arc in around of the children, she leapt forward snapping at my face and I lunged at her biting her back ripping and tearing away a chunk of flesh, my nose wrinkled in disgust and I spat it across the room.

I saw Alex come into the room and crouch to pounce at her,

*no this is my fight* I said to Alex though the mate link, he whimpered but nodded.

I looked Alicia straight in the eye and raced towards her we both jumped up into the air and I snapped my jaws around her neck as we fell to the floor, it was the end this couldn’t go on anymore. As the life drained out of he she shifted back into human form and glared at me,

“You can’t do it, you can’t murder your own cousin” she said he eyes never leaving mine as she cringed at my glare,

*Sapphire, tell her she stopped being my cousin the second she thought she wanted to kill me and my babies* I said though the pack link, Sapphire quickly and coldly told her.

I did it, I broke her neck.
