They stood there in the same place for a few seconds. She looked over at his heart rate meter, which was beeping off the hook. He was about to speak again to explain why he had just kissed her, but suddenly he felt her lips touch his again. This kiss lasted much longer. The kiss ended after a few more seconds. She quickly got off of the hospital bed and sat back down on her chair. His heart rate meter dropped slightly afterwards and the room went back to how it was. After five minutes or so he spoke up saying: "I've waited a year and a half." And she nodded saying back: "would it be worth it to take a try at it?" He smiled saying yes.

They didn't talk much the rest of the night. Madison fell asleep in the hospital chair while Jungkook fell asleep on the bed. The next morning,JK was released from the hospital. Jungkook by then was even walking by himself. Madison called a friend to drive the two of them home. Jungkook said that he would be okay by himself, but Madison insisted that he stay with her. She had been in the same minidress all night, and she went immediately to change once she entered the door to her home. She said before changing: "There is food that I left in the fridge from the other day, you should eat." After changing she came out of her room in a t-shirt and some pj pants.

Jungkook warmed himself up some food. Once done, he sat on the couch with her. They watched the "Good Doctor" while he ate. After he was done eating, his cleaned up his plate in the sink. By the time he reached the couch again, she was dead asleep. Jungkook sat down and picked her head up from the couch. He layed her head in his lap and he continued to watch the show. After an hour or so, he fell asleep himself. They laid there all afternoon napping. They were exhausted from yesterday.

Madison was the first one to wake up. Once awake, she knew that he placed her head in his lap to comfort her. She sat up and started flipping channels on the tv because the show had gone off. She wondered what had happened to the guy on tv who thought that he would lose his leg. Jungkook woke up because of the weird sounds the tv was making due to Madison flipping channels. He sat up and she turned to him and smiled saying: "Goodmorning Sunshine" He smiled back to her.

He said: "Hey, can I stretch my legs out, they kinda became numb from me sleeping weird." She nodded and picked up his feet, placing them into her lap. He layed his head on the side of the couch. Madison finally stopped flipping channels,landing on a kids cartoon show. Jungkook playfully reached up and grabbed her hand. He refused to let go as well. She laughed saying: "Your such a touchy person" He pulled her hand even more, guiding her body towards him.

She pulled back from him saying: "If you want me to lay with you, just say it instead of trying to pull my arm off" he smiled and nodded. This was exactly what he wanted. She laid down somewhat ontop of him, off his left shoulder. She made sure that her leg ontop of him didn't cover him completely. She looked up at him saying: "Are you feeling well?" And he nodded his head saying: "I'm feeling even better now."

It came to be dinner time when Jungkook said "Shoudn't I go back home? I'm not really injured." Madison hated to see him leave, so she said: "No, you shouldn't, You could always relapse." Secretly she didn't want him to leave. They were already close before he kissed her and took her on a date, but now it had become even harder to let him leave. Yesterday she thought that her best friend was dead and today, Her best friend and her were in a kissing hugging relationship.
