'I don't have Con & Hank adventures anymore though!' – Jacksepticeye
(Yet again, couldn't write a fight scene to save my life)

Connor's Perspective

Pulling the coldest face he could, Connor awaited for his taxi to be stopped. His window slowly rolled down & he came face to face with a Cyberlife guard.

"Connor Model #313 248 317." He turned to face ahead "I'm expected."

He felt a sudden, small jolt of energy pass over his temple as the scanner verified his LED.

'Identification successful.'

"Okay." The guard stepped away from the window, allowing the taxi to continue its path into Cyberlife. "Go ahead."

Connor's window rolled back up, allowing him to breathe out a sigh of relief, even though he didn't need air.

Cyberlife's gates slowly rolled down, letting the taxi drive past trains as it made its way to the Tower. Pulling to a halt, the car allowed Connor to step out of the vehicle as he looked at the place he'd once considered a shrine to all androids.

This was the place of his mission.

Retaining his stance, he walked into the tower, where another 3 guards were awaiting him.

"Follow me. We'll escort you."

"Thanks..." He tilted his head slightly "But I know where to go."

"Maybe, but I have orders." The guard countered.

Complying, the RK800 walked in tow of the uniformed officer in front of him.

'Connor Android Identified.'

The thing that intrigued Connor most was the large, black statue in the centre of the room as they walked past row after row of androids, each of them looking back & forth across the room. Without emotion, just like he used to be.

When they made it to the elevator, he took his place in between the two guards who had accompanied him.

"Agent 54. Level 31."

'Voice recognition validated. Access authorised.'

Looking to his right, Connor scanned over the different floors before his eyes landed on the warehouse – floor -49.

That was most likely where the androids would be.

-------------------------------------------------

REACH WAREHOUSE ON LEVEL -49

------------------------------------------------

The elevator made its ascend, & Connor made his plan.

==============================

NEUTRALISE THE GUARDS

STOP ELEVATOR BEFORE FLOOR 31

==============================

Looking around the enclosed space, his eyes fell on a security camera.

It was on, & if it stayed that way it'd see what Connor was about to do.

Staring at it long enough to access its mainframe data, he was able to hack it, up to the point where he shut it down.

CAMERA STATUS:

DISABLED

That was one problem out of the way.

Now he needed to get rid of the guards.

He had to think of all the different outcomes, whether he'd get shot if he attacked the officer on the left, or the one on the right. Attacking the one on his right first would end with him being shot immediately, so he now had his plan, ready to be executed.

Launching himself at the Cyberlife Officer on his left, Connor pushed them into the wall forcefully, kicking the other guard behind him before they had a chance to strike. The officer he had cornered pulled out a gun, which Connor stole from his grasp, kicking him in the knee cap before blocking the attacks of the other soldier. This left his flank open for the previous officer to pummel him, until Connor pressed his foot into the fallen guard's helmet in order to shove the guard on his back into the wall again, elbowing him in the stomach & shooting him in the head without even looking. Before the other guard had time to get up, Connor dived to the ground, splitting the agent's skull with a bullet as he lay now motionless.

The RK800 stood up, tucking the gun into his pocket.

CHANGE ELEVATOR DESTINATION

............................................................

He reached over to the panel.

'Please indicate your identity & destination.'

"Agent 54." Connor spoke in the officer's voice "Level -49."

'Voice recognition validated. Access authorised.'

One step closer to our goal

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Connor stared down at the warehouse floor from the elevator, watching each & every one of the androids lined up in formation, as if he was scared they'd move. The doors opened, but first he blocked the elevator's track, just in case Cyberlife got word of what he was trying to do.
He took his time walking down the centre of the androids, all of them deactivated with no identity or memory. A blank slate, much like what he once was.
Looking down at his hand, he allowed his skin to fade away to white porcelain, approaching the androids slowly. He reached his hand out, taking hold of one of their arms. He was about to awaken it, to help Markus, to help his kind-
"Easy! Piece of shit.."
He froze.
No...
He turned to see (Y/N) held gunpoint by another Connor model, an unimpressed scowl on her face.
"Step back, Connor! And I'll spare her."
"Sorry Connor, this prick's your spitting image."
"Your partner's life is in your hands."
Well, I'd say more than partner, but...
"Now it's time to decide what matters most!" The other Connor turned to look at (Y/N)
"Her. Or the Revolution."
"Don't listen to him!" (Y/N)'s expression remained still, her eyes on the ground. She was a lot less afraid of this android than she was of the one on the roof. "Every damn thing this fucker says is a lie!"
"I used to be just like you."
The doppelgänger looked at Connor.
"I thought nothing mattered except the mission." He locked eyes with (Y/N).
"But then one day I understood."
"Very moving Connor. But I'm not a deviant. I'm a machine designed to accomplish a task, & that's exactly what I'm going to do!" The other Connor pushed the gun closer to the woman's head, her flinching slightly in response.
He couldn't let her get hurt, he couldn't. Not like this, not if it happened because of some stupid war. She was meant to grow old, have a family, live life to the fullest.
Not get gunned down over liberty.
"If I surrender-"
"Connor no-"
"how do I know you won't kill her?"
"I'll only do what is strictly necessary to accomplish my mission. It's up to you whether or not that includes killing this pathetic human."
Don't call her pathetic His mind snarled.
She is anything but pathetic. She has walked through fire & so she still lives on, smiling as if nothing ever happened. She's the strongest person I know.
No-one calls her pathetic.
"She's not pathetic." He growled.
"How touching." The fake Connor pressed the gun further towards her head. "Enough talk!" He yelled.
"It's time to decide who you really are. Are you gonna save your partner's life? Or are you going to sacrifice her?"
"Connor, do what you need to do." She scolded through gritted teeth. "Don't let me get in the way."
You were never in the way...
"Alright! Alright!" Connor let go of the android's arm, backing away. "You win.."
In that moment the doppelgänger pointed his gun at Connor, (Y/N) lunging in to stop it.
Time froze as the RK800 was forced to decide his next move.
The other him kicked (Y/N) to the side, Connor tackling his doppelganger as it threw him to the ground. They both stared each other down, Connor going in to make another hit as his double pushed him backwards, a fist fight between the two of them starting as (Y/N) was forced to watch the two of them kick, shove & punch one another. Connor was kicked to the ground, pinned down by his double.
"Hold it!"
They both looked over to see (Y/N) with a gun in her hands,
pointed at the two of them.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Reader's Perspective

(Y/N) had both of them trained with her gun, staring down at the two Connors. The one who'd forced her into the car, & the one she learnt to love.

"Thanks, (Y/N)." One of them said, the both of them standing up.

"I don't know how I would've managed without you."

Her gunpoint drifted from one Connor to another.

"Get rid of him, we have no time to lose."

She turned to the one who hadn't spoken yet.

"It's me, (Y/N). I'm the real Connor."
She glared at both of them.

"One of you is the android I fell for, the other is a sack of shit. The real question is, who's who?"

"What are you doing, (Y/N)?" The one on the right spoke. "I'm the real Connor. Give me the gun & I'll-"

"Don't you fucking move!" She yelled at him. "Jesus, it's the Spider-Man situation all over again..."

Her gun shifted between them both.

"Why don't you ask us something? Something only the real Connor would know." The one on the left said.

She turned to Connor on the right.

"Where did we first meet?"

"The Police Department! You were working at your desk. I'd come with Hank from the Carlos Ortiz Homicide report & you said you were looking forward to working with me. I agreed & stated I looked forward to our partnership."

"He uploaded my memory..." The one on the left mumbled, (Y/N) turning her attention - & firearm – towards him.

"What's my dog's name?"

"Blue. His name is Blue."

"I knew that too."

She pointed her gun at Connor on the right.

"I-"

"Yeah, that's what I thought." She said, as if telling it to shut up.

This last question...

This will tell me who's Connor

She went back to the one on the left.

Her eyes weakened.

"My dad, who was he?"

Quiet.

And then a voice.

"You don't know," He answered, with a gentle expression. "...You never knew who your biological father was, because you were the result of an affair during your parent's rough patch, hence the reason your 'father' was always so harsh to you...
It wasn't your fault, (Y/N), you knew the truth ever since you got into the Department, why he was always so cold. Because he saw you as what his daughter could've been, but you weren't. To him you were just a reminder that your mother loved someone else, someone who wasn't him."

That's him.

"...When I got into the Police Academy he shut me off, acted as if I was a perfect stranger. He put me through so much bullshit just for me to find out the 'rough patch' was because my mother realised she was in love with another man. I don't blame her. That sorry excuse for a person never deserved her anyway."

She shifted who the gun was pointing at.

"I knew about your dad too!" The other yelled.

"Thanks for playing, you lost." She muttered.

"I would have said exactly the same thing! Don't listen to him, (Y/N), I'm the one who-"

She pulled the trigger, aiming the gun right at its head, killing it in one clean shot.

"Checkmate." She stared down at the dead android, gun in hand, lowered.

"You know, I've learned a lot since I met you Connor." She fixed her gaze on him.

"I think you've taught me more about the world we live in. More than I could ever teach you." She gave him a gentle smile. "Maybe you'll be the one to teach the rest of the world, make it a better place."

Before she could register what was happening, Connor was holding her in a hug.

"I'm just glad you're safe." He sighed. "I don't know what I would've done if I lost you."

"Hey, I could say the same thing Mr. 'I want to infiltrate the Cyberlife Tower.'" She mimicked him, earning a half smile.

"Always the one to joke in a crisis."

"I'm serious! Now do what you gotta do." She let him go, gesturing to the rows of androids alongside them. She watched Connor walk up to one of the AP700's & take hold of its arm, it turning to face him in response, its LED flickering red, then yellow, then blue.

"Wake up."

He let go of its arm, his skin returning to his hand. She watched as each of the androids reached out, repeating the same phrase the RK800 had.

"Woah, this is some Matrix shit right here..." She muttered, watching them all 'wake' each other up in such an epidemic matter.

She looked over to see Connor almost anxious about how many androids there were.

"Now let's go kick some ass."
