Chapter Forty.
Tragic event.

【 Kyuubi's POV 】

"BOOM!"

"Huh!" I opened my eyes at the sound of the explosion and saw myself in the air, on top of Deidara's bird clay figure. I turned myself on my stomach to take a glance on why he is throwing—

Sasuke.

"S-S-S..." I lost words when I saw him down there having a fight with Deidara who is up here, with me, and not Tobi.

Sasuke saw me, but seems like he didn't notice I was there at the first place because of that shocking face, but it changed into a smirk. "Kyuubi, what brings you here?"

"She is an Akatsuki, a very powerful Akatsuki that can destroy you in one blink of an eye." Deidara said. "But hey, I'm the one deciding how you die. And is by me."

"I'll bring Sasuke back, no matter what."

Naruto promised.

Now that Sasuke is right here, Infront of me and not Naruto, I shall fulfill this promise.

"Sasuke, I'll bring you back as promised. You hear me?" I said, standing up on the bird clay figure. Seems like my legs have been released from the Jutsu.

He scoffed. "You are still weak. Don't think that because you're an Akatsuki, doesn't mean you're strong. They only took you because they want Naruto and you for the Nine-Tails. You are nothing but a useless loser."

I could have broken my teeth of how hard I grit my teeth. "You...!"

"Kyuubi, I am sorry but I have to do this." Deidara carried me and suddenly threw me away. I landed on someone's arms. "Tobi, take care of her, un." Deidara said up there.

The one carrying my was Tobi.

"Hai, hai, Deidara-Senpai, just don't get blown up!" said Tobi, taking me away from a distance.

And now the two fought.

I never saw Deidara this strong. He was amazing, and had many close calls to defeat Sasuke.

"Aren't you going to escape?" Tobi asked.

With my nervous and worried face expression, how could I escape when I want those two alive, and not dead.

I didn't reply to Tobi.

After the fight and Deidara falling off deep in the forest, which this definitely got into my system. Tobi understood my concern that he moved closer so we can see what is going on.

Sasuke and Deidara were standing there, infront of each other.

Deidara took off his shirt revdaling some sewed thing on his chexf. He took the string off showing a mouth.

"I shall die and become art itself!" said Deidara , he talked real nonsense  "Deidara! Don't be a fool!" I yelled. He gave me a glance, smiled. "I hope we meet again in the after life, Kyuubi." he said. "Take her away, Tobi."

"N-no!" I wanted to go to him, I tried to break free but Tobi was already running with me in his arms, one glance to Deidara and...

"KATSU!"

No!

"Sleep..." Tobi had the jutsu on me again, and I slept with tears while he drags me away.

•FLASHBACK•

"New member of the Akatsuki, Uzumaki Kyuubi." announced Pain, revealing me, with the Akatsuki cloak and looked so lost infront of the whole Akatsuki members.

"Treat her well, as an Akatsuki member. And I will be her trainer from now on, train her to be strong and to control her Nine-Tails form. hands off her if it means nothing but joking, I won't risk having her harmed." Pain was even threatening them, he cared so much.

"O-oi, Pain. I'll be her guide, un." said the blonde with Ino's hairstyle.

"Kyuubi, do you want to share a dorm with Deidara and Sasori? Or someone else?" Pain asked me.

I hesitated.

Hidan and Kakuzu, nope. Hidan looks like a perv if around a femals. Kakuzu does look okay with but he looks untrustworthy.

Itachi and Kisame. Wish to, but I feel unsafe around them for some reasons.

Pain and Konan, I don't think they'd want me.

Zetsu, he said he will eat me, so of course not.

Deidara and Sasori, okay well Sasori does sound like he doesn't care about anything and has no emotions. Deidara likes explosions, but he looks like someone I can trust and be friends with.

I made my decision.

"Deidara and Sasori, if they want." I said, awkwardly looking away.

Pain nodded. "Deidara, Sasori. Do not touch her without her permission and do not harm her. Paint her nails, give her the ring and after this, you may see her fighting skills, if it's below, I'll take her so we can train."

"Mhmm." Deidara replied, approaching toward me and expending his hand. "Come, I'll take you to where we stay in." he said, and I'm still not sure. "Don't be afraid. It's not like I'm going to inappropriate stuff, I'm only sixteen."

"O-okay.." He took my hand and walked me all the way to his and Sasori's dorm.

"You may sleep here." He pointed at the spare bed. "Anything you need, I'll be there for you."

"Thank you, Senpai." I managed my famous grin. This made him smile and ruffle my red hair.

"I'd like to see the art of explosion of yours later. The one you used on me." he said.

Oh so he means my Rasengan?

"Sure." I said.

He kept on smiling , giving me his big blue eyes glint that melts my heart. He is really awesome.

"Art is an explosion after all." I muttered.

at my words, Deidara looked at me, surprised. He suddenly started to tear. "Sh-she learns fast.." He anime cried.

I laughed nervously.

"From now on, you are my friend, Kyuubi. You hear me? I will be teaching you the art of explosion, and we shall be the scary known terrorists."

"Wow, sure!"
