At the College Francoise Dupont...

The students were on their respective seats inside the school science laboratory listening to the lecture of their science teacher, Ms. Mendeleiev.

MS. MENDELEIEV

Half of the class slept from boredom while the other half was taking the class very seriously to aim for a higher grade or to avoid getting in trouble.

All of the students' dull expressions was replaced by excitement the second the school bell rang for the end of the day.

Just before they can reach to the exit door, Ms. Mendeleiev called out all of the student's attention.

MS. MENDELEIEV: Everyone! Now before I dismiss you all, I want to remind everyone that tomorrow will be your presentation for the entire period. I've already given your assigned grouping so I'm expecting everyone to be prepared, is that understood?

(Everyone): Yes, Ms. Mendeleiev.

The class responded as they now exited the classroom.

Marinette and Alya were walking out of the school as they talked about the group presentation they planned for tomorrow.

The best part for Marinette is that not only is she partnered with Alya, but they're also in the same groupings with Nino and Adrien.

MARINETTE: So any updates for our presentation tomorrow?

ALYA: We're half way done, actually. Nino said he just finished his part this morning.

MARINETTE: (*sigh) That's quite a relief. I don't know if I could handle another one of Ms. Mendeleiev's outburst in class. She really is intimidating when she's strict.

ALYA: Hopefully, our work will be good enough to impress her tomorrow.

MARINETTE: I know it will. On the bright side, It was really fun working with you guys, especially being in the same group with Adrien (*giggles).

Alya couldn't help it but rolled her eyes in amusement by just seeing her best friend's reaction on being in the same group with her crush.

Marinette then tried to act normal once she saw Adrien and Nino walking towards them.

NINO: What are you girls talking about?

ALYA: Oh, we're just talking about our group presentation for tomorrow. Do you guys want to continue working on it ASAP?

ADRIEN: Actually, how about we finish our project in my house today. I mean the four of us could just relax and play some video games or watch a movie if we're done early. Sounds fun to you guys?

NINO: Dude, you just read my mind. Count me in.

Nino exclaimed as he puts his shoulder on Adrien's shoulder and offered a fist pump.

MARINETTE: Will your dad be alright for us coming to your house?

ADRIEN: He's busy at his work today so he wouldn't know about it. Plus, it's really boring in the house just by myself. At least it's much better to have you all accompanying me.

NINO: In the meantime, we could get some snacks before we head on. The brain doesn't function with an empty stomach, right?

MARINETTE: Maybe I could ask my parents if they can lend me some bread from the boulangerie for all us.

Adrien, Nino, and Alya were even more excited to try the best snacks from the best bakery in Paris.

Adrien escorted Marinette, Alya, and Nino down the stairs to the limousine, only to be halted by his tall gorilla-like bodyguard.

Marinette, Alya, and Nino nervously smiled at his bodyguard, who was towering them and letting them inside the vehicle.

NINO: (*nervous chuckle) Hey, dude... What's up? Looking good today.

The bodyguard just arched an eyebrow as a response.

ADRIEN: It's alright, they're with me. We have to finish our school project for tomorrow. Is it okay if we stopped by at Marinette's place first?

The bodyguard followed Adrien's wishes as he opened the door for them and stopped by to the boulangerie for Marinette to grab some snacks.

Her parents were kind enough to lend some bread fresh out of the oven. As Marinette got back inside the limousine with a basket, the delicious smell of bread made Adrien, Alya, and Nino very hungry.

They arrived at the Agreste Mansion in just a few minutes and came to cross paths with Nathalie, who was waiting for Adrien's arrival at the front door.

NATHALIE: Welcome home, Adrien. I see that you brought three of your classmates here because?

ADRIEN: We have a group presentation we're working on for tomorrow. Is it ok if they stay here for a while?

NATHALIE: (*sigh) Okay, they can stay. But I have to inform you that before your father left, he scheduled you for a photoshoot tonight. I suggest that you finish your project before evening.

Nathalie explained to Adrien as he slightly frowned knowing he only has a limited amount of time to hang out with his friends.

They went upstairs to Adrien's room as Alya and Nino let at 'wow!' from seeing how enormous his room was. Marinette slightly had the same reaction, even though she visited Adrien the other night as Ladybug.

The four thought they could relax for a bit and ate some of Marinette's croissants. As usual, it was still the best bread in Paris.

Alya and Nino enjoyed playing at the foosball table with Alya winning the game. Marinette and Adrien were watching the couple from the piano.

MARINETTE: Aww... they seemed really cute together, don't you think?

ADRIEN: They really are. I kinda envy on what Alya and Nino have together. It must be really special to share that kind of bond with someone.

MARINETTE: Yeah, it sure is- - I mean, with the right person of course. Besides, you can't force two different people who don't like each other to LIKE each other, right?

ADRIEN: Uh... sure. I guess you've got a point. But who knows what life is installed for everyone.

Marinette felt like she embarrassed herself once again while Adrien started playing a song that his mother used to like on the piano.

MARINETTE: Wow! That was really great, Adrien! Where did you learn to play the piano?

ADRIEN: I'd learned it from my mother, actually. Besides from acting, she loves playing the piano. We used to duet this song before she... well, when I was young.

MARINETTE: Oh...

Marinette noticed the frown on Adrien's face and made her regret for asking that stupid question. Adrien shook off the emotional feeling and turned to Marinette with a smile.

ADRIEN: Hey, you want play a duet with me?

MARINETTE: Me? But I don't even know to play the piano. I bet it would sound horrible that your eardrums will burst out.

ADRIEN: Don't worry, I'll teach you how to play. Just follow my lead, and you'll be fine.

Marinette sat beside Adrien a bit nervous as he slowly pressed some keys for Marinette to follow. She played the same tune as Adrien did but pressed some wrong keys along the way.

Adrien held gently Marinette's hands and positioned it to press the right keys. She tried her best to hide biggest smile however she couldn't hide her red blushing cheeks.

This caught Alya and Nino's attention and watched them play the piano together. As the two kept playing, Marinette was really improving herself and was perfectly catching up with Adrien.

When they finished playing the song, Alya and Nino applauds for Marinette and Adrien's small performance.

MARINETTE: Sorry if I did a terrible job. I guess playing the piano isn't part of my hidden talent.

ADRIEN: No, you did just fine for a first timer. I can teach a few lessons if you want too. Just tell me when.

MARINETTE: (*giggle) I'll keep that in mind. Thank you, Adrien.

Matinette smiled and slightly blushed. It felt really satisfying for her to hear Adrien's compliment.

The four of them were surprised when Nathalie entered the room alongside Peter, Miles, and Harry. She then left the room letting the teenagers spend time together.

ALYA: Oh! Hey, fellas. So what do we owe you this surprise visit.

HARRY: Adrien called us. He said you guys could use our help for a group presentation tomorrow?

Marinette, Alya, and Nino turned their heads to Adrien in confusion.

ADRIEN: Sorry, I forgot to tell you guys. If we want to ace this project, we'll let these 3 geniuses judge our work.

Marinette, Alya, and Nino thought it was a smart idea to get their research double checked by Peter, Miles, and Harry since they have a lot of interest relating to science.

While Nino was grabbing the thumb drive that was containing their presentation, Peter and Miles couldn't help but stayed in awed by looking at Adrien's room filled with his expensive luxuries.

Marinette was kind enough to offer some bread to Peter, Miles, and Harry and they absolutely loved it.

3 minutes has passed and Nino was still looking for the thumb drive in his bag, making Marinette, Adrien, and Alya start worrying.

NINO: Oh, shoot...

ALYA: What do you mean 'oh, shoot', Nino? Where is the thumb drive?

NINO: So good news is that the thumb drive is safe, so you don't have to worry about it.

MARINETTE: I'd really hate to ask, but we're going to find out anyway. So what's the bad news?

NINO: It's safe... inside my locker back at school.

(All): WHAT!?

Marinette, Adrien, and Alya shouted with the top of their lungs in shock while Nino winced at his friends' reactions. Peter, Miles, and Harry blankly stood on the corner in an awkward silence.

MILES: Can't you just go and get it back from Nino's locker?

MARINETTE: We can't because they already locked the school and there's no way the security guards is going to let us in at this time.

HARRY: Well, there is one way on how we can get your thumb drive back.

An idea then came across in Harry's head getting all of his friend's attention.

PETER: I know that look... what are you up to, Harry?

Peter was very suspicious on what Harry's planning because if that smirk on his face.

A few hours later...
It was already in the evening as Marinette, Adrien, Alya, Nino, Peter, Miles, and Harry were at the back of the College Francoise Dupont in pure panic.

MARINETTE: This is your idea!? We're going to break inside to our own school!? We're going to get expelled from this!

HARRY: Hey, I'm nervous too, you know. But there's no way we're going to let you guys fail your class. I just need to... jimmy this door and...

It took a couple of attempts for Harry to mess around with the door knob until to the point he eventually opened it.

HARRY: Voala! Now, shall we?

Harry let his friends inside the school first and looked around the area if anyone was watching them before joining them and closed the door behind him.
