AUTHOR'S POV
Maaz came to the living room sat down across Abu and mom fiza. Omar was on his lap. Sara went to her room to collect her hand bag.
" have some tea and eat breakfast?" Offered Abu.
" no thanks I have already eaten my breakfast." Replied Maaz.
" Sara made it as a farewell treat. You can try some?" Persuaded mom fiza.
" okay but before that i want to say something."
" go on" Said Abu. He was eyeing Maaz.
Maaz took out a bank check and placed it on the coffee table.
" please accept it..."
" what is this?" Abu's eyes turned red Sara knows it's not good.
" it's a blank check. You really raised my son well and took care of my wife so its just a gift."
" let me correct you Maaz Siddiqui. Sara is my daughter and omar is my grandson so whatever I did for them has nothing to do with you. I won't accept this check. But I want you to promise me that you will take care of them and keep them happy."
Maaz lowered his eyes and said
" I will "

Sara breathed a sigh of relief. She moved forward hugged all family members. Abu, mom fiza, tami, bilal and zaid were all present. Sara went to dadi's room and bid her farewell. Although dadi was not happy from her decision but when she was leaving she had tears in her eyes. Dadi said
" May Allah fill your life with happiness. Ameen." Sara was overwhelmed by her actions.
She went towards car and saw omar jumping up and down in the back seat and waving at her parents.
" bye bye" He was thinking that he was going on a trip. A trip to his real home.
Sara sat down and a new journey of her life started.

Maaz was sitting at the back seat and kept playing with omar. Seeing them together was such a joy for Sara that she forgot everything. She was lost in her thoughts when she realised that this is not the way to Maaz house.
" where are we going? This road is not going to your house?" She started to panic.
" calm down Sara. I am not staying at my home. I am staying in a hotel."
He replied calmly.
" why?" Sara was stunned and asked Maaz.
" I will tell you after we will reach hotel." Sara thought may be he didn't want to talk infront of the driver.
Well whatever the reason was Sara became alert. She knew that Maaz is looking calm and composed but he is not a gentleman. Something big must have happened that forced him to stay out of his house.

After half an hour they reached the hotel. It was one of the tall buildings Sara always noticed when she went to her lawyer's office. It was a luxurious and the most exclusive hotel of the city. The car stopped at the entrance of the hotel. It was a magnificent entry gate which was decorated with gold and silver plated frame, in the middle a glass door was present. It was unique and magnificent. The driver opened the door and they came out of the car. Maaz hold Sara's hand and walked inside. Sara didn't want to make a scene  and didn't make fuss about his not so loving action.
When they were walking inside Sara saw that everyone ,from gatekeeper to the manager of the hotel, they were greeting Maaz with respect and enthusiasm. Sara was aware of his status and knew people always behaves like this around him.
Maaz went to the reception desk and asked the lady " hey kashaf gave me my room key? And tell the butler to guide my wife the way."
The lady who was smiling before was now shocked. " Sir is this your wife? And he is?"
" Well this is my wife Sara and meet my son omar." He was all excited introducing his family to a stranger. Well may be she knew him. Whatever Sara didn't want to think too much. She shrugged her negative thoughts and moved to follow the butler into the elevator. Omar was really happy to see all the lighting and painting. He was with Sara when they came to a halt in front of a door that reads " honeymoon suite " Sara  asked the butler if it's the right room. He told Sara that since one month Mr. Maaz was  staying here.
After this Sara thought something was fishy.
When she entered the room, she was stunned will be an understatement. It was a large living room with sofa set and dining table. It was attached to a luxurious bed room with antique decor.
She quickly scanned the room for anything suspicious but didn't find any.
The butler took the luggage inside the bedroom and gave key to Sara. Omar without wasting time told Sara " toys" He wanted to play with his newly bought toys. Sara gave him some blocks and sat down on the sofa.
She was wondering where Maaz go.

After sometime someone knocked on the door. Sara went to open the door. It was Maaz. He smiled at her and she weakly smiled out of courtesy. Sara turned around and took two steps when she heard the sound of door lock.
Maaz locked the door. Thinking about there relationship Sara swallowed her saliva, she was hell nervous.
" water" maaz said to grab her attention. Hearing his voice Sara looked at him and said " what?"
" you want some water?" He showed her the water bottle in his hands which he just took out from the fridge.
" Yes " Sara moved towards Maaz to collect the bottle. Her hand was about to hold the bottle when Maaz skillfully hold her waist and tightly hugged her with both hands. His hug was so sudden that Sara couldn't figure out what happened.
" Sara I missed you so much." Well he was expecting Sara to push him away but she remained still.
Maaz sensed her and let go of her. After he moved away he hold her hand and asked " Are you still angry with me?"
Sara just shook her head, unable to utter a word.
