   Ur a human

"RUN!" That warning was shouted as a shrill scream from my friend. Their body turned into a pile of dust. I turned around and ran as fast my legs could carry me. I climbed up in a tall oak tree. I watched in horror as villagers were destroyed. Many other villagers hid in holes, trees, you name it. The pillagers blew up and set fire to most houses. Piles of dust lay everywhere. The tree I was hiding in started to shake. I looked down and realized that a ravager was ramming into it, trying to get me to fall off. I close my eyes and grip the trunk tightly. I'm falling to the ground, the next thing I know. I land on my back. Luckily, the I was sitting on one of the lower branches, so I didn't break anything. I quickly stand up and try to run. A heavy crossbow is thrown at my head as I black out.

"Seriously?" I heard a voice. I woke up. "You just... threw your crossbow?"

"It's not my fault I didn't have any arrows!" A rough voice answered. I lay there silently. Not sure on what to do.

"Is she awake?" That awkward voice asked.

"Yes." I open my eyes. A pillager captain and evoker stood there. I could tell that the pillager was a captain due to the over-sized wool banner with a print of a pillager face on it. The vindicator's axe was rusted with blood. I cringed. Another shorter pillager sat on a chair nearby, having a book and quill in his lap, writing down. A battered crossbow sat next to him.

"Why do I have to write the same sentence over and over again?" The pillager sitting down complained. The vindicator slapped his gray face.

"You don't go around, randomly throwing a crossbow for goodness sake," The vindicator grumbled. "If you had no arrows, you could have at least used your fists. Or a ravager." A loud huff was heard from two rooms away. I stared at the wall of my cell. The pillagers were ignoring me for now. Or so I thought.

"What do we do with hostages, ay?" The vindicator asked. I froze.

"Put'em with the rest of course," The pillager captain said. I mentally bit my lip.

   Crash

I let out a little sigh of annoyance as I landed on the stone floor of my new cell. The last one was a lot better. A gray bed lay in one of the corners. A small stone table and bench sat in the opposite corner. A white, dirty carpet covered the floor. Other villager and player prisoners sat far away from me.

"Good luck surviving." I look at the cell in front of me. A nitwit villager sat in the cell before me.

"Which village?" He asks. I tilt my head in confusion.

  "Your village name."

"Green Valley City." I answer quietly. He nods.

"Don't give into the pillagers." Then he lays down and goes off to sleep. My body stiffens. Don't give in? What did that mean? I could only wonder.

"Lunch time idiots!" A loud voice shouts. The vindicator from earlier kicks open the door. Most prisoners groan. The vindicator opened the door to the cell and throw in a piece of stale bread. When he came over to mine, I managed to catch mine. The nitwit's was placed carefully on his table. Maybe they were scared of the nitwit. I shrugged and placed it in my inventory. My eyes widen in glee as I realize I still had half a stack of fresh carrots, and that newly made diamond pickaxe I made earlier. I go to sleep, happily knowing planning escape was possible.

"You awake?" I wake up, the vindicator from earlier. I nod as I sit up. He opens the cell door and throws an egg. It was cooked. I crack open the shell and eat the egg inside. It wasn't as bad. I eat a carrot in my inventory and successfully toss one into the cell across mine. The nitwit picks it up and munches on it.

Two days later

Gosh, it gets boring in here. I stared at the wall.

"Hello?" I jump and look out my cell. The vindicator stared at me.

"I'm your cell buddy," He says grumpily.

"What's a cell buddy?" The vindicator facepalms.

"Didn't the warden come and tell you about this?" The vindicator grumpily asks. (By warden I mean the prison warden)

"I think was taking a nap." I squeaked. The vindicator groaned.

"A cell buddy is a pillager that's supposed to convince you to join us," The vindicator said. "My name is Johnny."

"Y/n." I said. "What do we do now?" Johnny shrugged.

"I have no idea." Johnny says.

"..." I pulled out a carrot. Johnny stares at me.

"Where'd you get those?" He asks. I shrug.

"They were in my inventory." I told him. "Want one?"

"Are you sure you don't have anything else?" He questions. I shake my head.

"I can tell you're lying." Johnny says. "What else do you have?" I sigh and show him the diamond pickaxe. Johnny's eyes widen in surprise and takes it.

"Are you going to tell them I had this?" I asked. Johnny shakes his head. I smile.

"You owe me something." Johnny smirks. I playfully punch his shoulder.

 "What?" I ask.

"When I actually need something." Johnny says. "Gotta go." I nod as he leaves.

"I ship it." The nitwit from earlier remarks. A red blush appears on my face as I cover myself with a blanket, my face as red as a tomato. I fall asleep later.

 Johnny's POV

I just finished training the ravagers. I walk towards the dungeon and to Y/n's cell. I open the cell door and close it as I come back inside. I sit next to Y/n's bed.

  "Gosh you're cute."
