Y/n's POV
I decided to stay home all night. The zombies groaned outside my door. I imagined it all. Zombies knocking down my doors, mobs flooding my house. I decided to block my doors with cobblestone. I finally got to sleep.
The next morning, I went mining. Again. I've been mining for diamonds after I found some obsidian. I wanted to go to the Nether, to get some potion ingredients. I've always wanted to try brewing. My iron pickaxe, almost out of durability, was still mining down. My tunnel broke into a deep ravine with what I was looking for. . . diamonds. I built a staircase down into the ravine. I carefully went across the lava. After mining in this ravine, I found at least 32 diamonds. Pure luck. I navigated back outside.
"Home sweet home," I said to myself. I walked through the door and started sleeping. I heard a little thud. I shot up from my bed and hid under the bed. After a minute or two, I saw nothing. So I went back to sleep. The next morning, I crafted some armor and tools made from diamonds and two diamond pickaxes. I went to the lava pool that I turned into obsidian near my home. I mined enough for a portal and an enchantment table. I placed the table near some bookshelves and enchanted my stuff. I lit the portal.
I jumped right through the portal. I felt a wave of nausea. Once I came through, I saw red stone and a nether fortress. I was pretty lucky today. I went into the fortress, watching out. I found some nether wart and took it. I also decided to take the soul sand. I saw a wither skeleton. At least two. I defeated them, but I also took the wither debuff.
Bzzzzzzzzzzzzz
I heard the sound of blazes. A fireball struck it in the back. The blazes looked around trying to find where it came from. Then one struck the spawner. Millions of fiery bullets struck the flying fire creatures. Strangely, they were coming from the sky. I looked up and saw a ghast, with its eyes red striking the beasts. Once they were gone, I picked up the rods and faced the ghast.
"H-hello," the ghast stuttered. I stared at it confused.
"What's your name?" I asked.
"U-um. . ." it stuttered. Wow. It must be really shy. "M-my name is F-fireball." I looked at Fireball.
"Fireball, you're a ghast," I said. "I thought all ghasts killed humans like me." Fireball looked down at the lava below him.
"Y-yeah," said Fireball. "I-i just felt like I had to save you." I stared at Fireball. He didn't seem like other ghasts. . . they always shot humans on sight.
"You seem special. . ." I said. "Do you want to live with me?" Fireball looked at me sadly.
"I would. . . but I can't," he said.
"Why?" I asked.
"I live in the Nether, its my natural habitat. I thought for a moment.
"I could live in the Nether with you," I said. He nodded happily. It was my first time seeing a ghast smile. We lived happily with each other after we met, and had babies. A ghast hybrid son and daughter.
