I woke up at the lab in what seems like a patient room. The IV bag was empty now and the cable was disconnected from my IV. Alphys probably disconnected it when the liquid in the bag finished. Sans was in a chair sleeping with his head rested on the edge of the bed. He must've stayed here with me overnight, how sweet of him.
The room lights turned on and Alphys walked in. I squinted because of the sudden brightness of the room.
"O... Oh. I'm sorry. I just came by to remove the IV." Alphys said walking towards me.
She gently took my arm and began to carefully remove the tape around the injection site. While she did that the tape pulled on the hairs on my arm, ouch. She removed the IV and then applied a bandage on the site.
"Thank you. For saving me Dr. Alphys." I said.
"N... No, Sans is the one who knew that it was determination exhaustion. I just followed the treatment that we theorized would work and thankfully it did." Alphys replied.
"How did Sans know what it was?" I asked curiously.
"I'll tell you about that another day." Sans said
I looked to my left and saw that Sans was now awake. He stretched his bony arms and yawned.
"Good morning. So doc is everything okay with (Y/n) now?" Sans asked.
"M... Morning. Yes they're okay. All the tests results showed that they had no other problems." Alphys replied.
"Good. Thank You, Alphys. Thank you soo much." Sans said.
"D.. D... Don't mention it." Alphys replied shyly.
"Well, I think we should go now. (Y/n), is probably hungry and I don't want to overstay our welcome any further." Sans said getting up. I too swinged my legs to the side of the bed and motioned to get up.
"Wait! B.. Before you go human. I got you a phone. You didn't seem to have one with you and I already inserted my number." Alphys said handing me a small black phone. The phone had a keychain and a full qwerty keyboard.
"Thank you!" I said as she handed me the phone
Sans snatched the phone out of my hand and typed something in it. His own phone rang. He looked at his phone and gave me mine back.
"There now you have my number and I have yours." He said with a wink.
"I ship it... " Alphys whispered.
"What did you say, Alphys?" I asked.
"O... Oh nothing." She replied.
I stood up from the bed and followed Sans out of the room. As we were walking down the Lab I heard a loud sound of metal crashing.
"What was that?" I asked.
I heard the sound again. Then again. The room was shaking and the sound became louder.
"Oh no....." Alphys said with panic in her voice.
Everything went dark and a robotic voice said "OHHH YES!"
"Welcome beauties....!" The robotic voice said.
A spotlight turned on and there was a hole in the wall. Out of the hole came out a box shaped robot with a mic.
"... To today's quiz show!!!" The boxy robot said.
Sans had a confused look on his face as confetti filled the room and two discoballs arose from the roof along with a sign saying 'Game Show'. I vaguely remember this happening from my first time here, but it was a while ago. The robot though I think was called Mettaton. He never lived long enough for me to get to know him when Chara was in control.
"Can we just turn him off?" Sans said as he teleported behind the robot.
"Oh boy! I can alre...." The robot stopped talking mid sentence.
"Sans you didn't..." Alphys said.
"What did I do?" Sans asked.
"Did you. Just flip. MY SWITCH?" The robots screen started flashing colors and he began to shake on his little wheel. Suddenly there was a flash of white and in a sultry voice you heard the words "Ooooh Yeeesss." echo in the room.
Two spot lights descended from the ceiling and a cloud of smoke covered the area under the spot lights. A shadow of what seemed like a man with arms and legs open appeared seductively shaking his hips.
"Oh my... If you flicked my switch that can only mean one thing... You're desperate for the premiere of my new body. How rude... Luck for you, I've been aching to show this off for a long time. So... as thanks I'll give you a handsome reward. I'll make your last..." As the robot was talking he was suddenly flung back into the hole he came from.
When the smoke cleared up Sans had a his left hand facing the hole and his left eye was glowing blue.
"(Y/n) doesn't want any reward from you. Get lost." He said as his eyes quickly flashed dark and then he teleported next to me grabbing my hand.
"Sans! Don't hurt him!" Alphys yelled running into the hole to make sure he was okay I guess.
"And that was?" I asked looking at Sans who still had an annoyed expression.
"Mettaton he's a star around here." Sans replied.
Alphys and Mettaton came out together from the hole.
"HUMAN! You and your friends are invited to my concert. Where I will premiere my new form." He said as he gave me a flyer and a couple of tickets.
"See you there!" He said with a wink and strutted off.
"I... I'm really sorry about that. That is a robot with a soul I created. He is star here and well he has quite a special personality..." Alphys shyly said.
"It's okay, he wasn't that bad." I said which caused a very annoyed Sans to squeeze my hand.
"Aw someone's jealous" Said a giggly Alphys.
Sans rolled his eyes and pulled me towards the exit of the lab when his phone rang.
*Ring* *Ring* *Ring* Sans let go of my hand and pulled out his phone.
"Hello? " Sans said answering the phone.
"SANS! BRING THE HUMAN OVER TO UNDYNES FOR LUNCH!" I heard Papyrus say loudly through the phone.
"Uh sure I guess. If Undyne promises not to try to murder them." Sans said warily.
"GREAT!" Papyrus said before the line went dead.
"Well I guess we have to head over to the Waterfall now." Sans told me.
"Sounds good with me." I said grabbing Sans hand which caused a blue blush to form on his cheeks. Holding Sans' hand fills me with determination.
