Action - Report

Dear Comrades

We attended another protest today. Overall large turnout however a large number of the attendees were Democrats (that's capital 'D' Democrats) who hold the typical communism= "red fascism" view of the college educated petty bourgeoisie of the cold war generation. This is a difficult situation as many of these people are influenced by the crimes of the revisionist Soviet Union of the late 50s-80s and seemly ignore the fact, which we strenuously explained to them, that the comrades of the KPD/ML in fact fought against Soviet Revisionism in East Germany, for which mant suffered at the hands of the Statsi, and we still fight this ideological struggle today. they attempted to start arguments with us. We ignore people who aren't willing to talk to us in good faith. Discussion with such people is completely pointless, a waste of time and energy. A simlar senrio can be found in the Right wing propaganda media crews who were present and attempt to question us on the "millions killed by Communism" my response "fuck off and get that shit (the camera) out of my face" which I hope was appropriate. again in our view there is no point in argument with these people or trying to convince them of the virtues of communism and the Comintern (SH). Met a few good people who are sympathetic to the party. Many people asked about the party. It was miserably cold and we could only stay for 2 hours. We will send photos along. We will be attending more protests in the near future and we are of course open to directives from the party on how to improve our agitation and propaganda as the party comrades have far more experience in these matters that we do.

Notes:

1. Since the electoral victory of Donald Trump these protests are largely populated by disaffected Democrats largely of the petty bourgeois class, these people are generally hostile to the party as they correctly view it as hostile to the Democratic party. In fact a few of these people unsuccessfully attempted to have us removed from this protest.

2. Right wing media crews are becoming an increasing problem. due to our postion avoiding interaction is ideal but not always possible as they tend to follow us around we attempt as little contact as possible.

3. In this case counter protesting was expected but did not manifest regardless we took some mesures for personal defence such as wearing helmets.

1. On the organizers

The organizers for this protest are a group called "We the People of Wisconsin"

WPW generally follows the incorrect popular front idea for the defeat of fascism, this is also broadly the case for the other "We the people" movements which organized the 17th of February movement. They speak of "class struggle" but already this fledgling movement is drowning in the swamp of liberalism and social-fascism. This movement is taking an incorrect and dangerous path that will lead to its defeat. The US-Section must in this regard take up the anti-fascist struggle more and more vigorously.

2. The direction the anti-Trumpism struggle must take

A majority of the liberal struggle against Trump is a struggle to return to the status quo, essentially pre-2016 Bourgeois-democracy. At the same time There is much talk of "leftist unity" from the revisionist camp but unity for what and to achieve exactly? The watering down of the movement to a bourgeois social-fascist movement is of course the answer. This is of course an incorrect direction for the struggle to take, the threat of fascism can not be defeated by bourgeois democracy but the destruction of the bourgeois and the bourgeois democracy and the establishment of the dictatorship of the Proletariat and proletarian Democracy. Even at this point we can not consider the threat of fascism to be defeated only when world communism has been achieved will the threat of fascism be abolished.

3. YDSA local chapter "on probation"

The local Chapter of the YDSA is now on probation after a failed protest. They are no longer able to officially recruit new members or stage protests. We have had some success in creating sympathizers from disillusioned ex-YDSA members but this is a matter we treat with extreame caution and care. We must not take a quanity over quality approch to our party or our section
