Today, 116 years ago, our beloved comrade Enver Hoxha was born. He stands side by side with Marx, Engels, Lenin and Stalin as the 5th Classic of Marxism-Leninism. He remains well deep in the minds and hearts of every genuine communist in the world.

In this spirit the Comintern (SH) send greetings to the Albanian Section and greets all Hoxhaist comrades in Albania and all over the world.

Enver Hoxha's teachings on the two superpowers remain as relevant as ever.

At the centre of our message is our firm defence of the teachings of Comrade Enver Hoxha on the superpowers and world imperialism.

Enver Hoxha explained

- how the superpowers came into being,

- what they represented,

- what characterised their domestic and foreign policy,

- what their true nature and strategy was,

- what place they occupied

- and what role they played in the many-sided political developments between 1958 and 1984.

Comrade Enver Hoxha gained his knowledge about the development of the superpowers using the method of dialectical and historical materialism, relying fundamentally on Lenin's theory of imperialism. He revealed world imperialism and its competing camps as the true cause and originator of growing international tensions.

At the time of Enver Hoxha, the world had already entered the phase in which the capitalist world system as a whole had begun to rot, was shaken by deep and all-encompassing crises and was already in the process of disintegration. That is why Enver Hoxha put the world revolution to overthrow the world bourgeoisie and world imperialist slavery on the agenda for the solution.

Enver Hoxha exposed the superpowers, which had conjured up an explosive and threatening world situation with their expansionist and hegemonistic policies. He passionately condemned their reactionary character and aggressiveness, their strategy and the fascist doctrines they had created to give their exploitation and oppression a veneer of justification. Comrade Enver Hoxha denounced the brutal methods and practices of intervention by the superpowers and the terrorism that they had elevated to a world system and transformed into state policy.

At the forefront of his criticism was specifically the American-Soviet cooperation. No matter whether these two superpowers – one imperialist, the other social-imperialist – were at odds with each other or had formed a close robber alliance, in any case their imperialist robbery interests were directed together towards the exploitation and oppression of the world proletariat, they stood together at the forefront against the world socialist revolution.

In the struggle for world domination, the two military blocs of NATO and the Warsaw Pact faced each other in the Cold War. Both asserted their 'peaceful intentions' and 'peaceful coexistence' in order to wage wars of plunder and redivide the world among themselves.

Enver Hoxha not only revealed the ambivalent relationship between the two superpowers, but also their entanglement with the 'United Europe' and China, both of which were striving for world domination and thus contributed to even more tensions in the world. Comrade Enver Hoxha emphasised in his book: 'Imperialism and Revolution' emphasised that

'the great desire of the Chinese leaders to turn their country into a superpower as soon as possible and to establish their hegemony everywhere... has driven them to base their strategy and foreign policy on incitement to imperialist war.'

In particular, comrade Enver delivered a scathing critique of the political and ideological line of Chinese revisionism, the so-called 'Maotsetung ideas', and the Chinese revisionist leadership's striving for superpower status, which had found expression in the infamous 'Three Worlds Theory'.

The imperialist superpowers, the United States of America, the Soviet Union and China, were driving the world to the outbreak of further imperialist wars, including a Third World War, with the hegemonistic policy and course they were pursuing.

Enver Hoxha:

'Therefore, the peoples must make every effort not to be taken by surprise, to sabotage the inter-imperialist predatory war so that it does not take on a global scale. And, should they not achieve this, to transform it into a liberation struggle and to win'.

Comrade Enver Hoxha called for revolutionary vigilance and exposed the imperialist conspiracies, including the latest one between the US imperialists and the Chinese social imperialists. Comrade Enver Hoxha continued the struggle of Lenin and Stalin against world imperialism and transformed the only socialist country, Albania, into a bastion of the world socialist revolution.

This world-revolutionary bastion of Albania was not only surrounded and besieged by the entire imperialist-social imperialist world bourgeoisie, but also by the revisionists and opportunists of all currents, including the Maoists and Trotskyites, as well as by the international social democracy, with whom the world bourgeoisie tried to stop the world revolution. And as long as Enver Hoxha was still alive, little socialist Albania emerged victorious from the battle against capitalist-revisionist encirclement.

If we compare the time of Enver Hoxha with our time today, the image of the superpowers then and now is very similar, but there are also major differences now, after about 40 years.

First of all, it must be stated that world imperialism has not changed in its essence, that it is intensifying exploitation and oppression in the world, that it is driving environmental destruction even more aggressively and, with the expansion the war in the Middle East, in Ukraine, off the coast of Taiwan, in the China and Japanese Seas and everywhere else in the world, it is waging global alliance wars that are on the verge of escalating into a Third World War at any moment. What we see is that the world today is at war.

The image of superpowers as such has also remained, with the USA continuing to lead the Western world camp, while in the Eastern camp the Soviet superpower has been replaced by the Chinese superpower.

Social-imperialist China is preparing to take over the role of world gendarme from the USA, the main bulwark of world imperialism to date, and to overtake and replace the entire Western world. Everything indicates that China and its allies will take over world domination and that the Western camp will soon give way to the Eastern camp of world imperialism – whether or not there is military conflict, whether or not there is World War III.

At that time there was socialist Albania, the Marxist-Leninist world centre of the revolution. Today, Albania is a colony of Western imperialism.

At that time, under the leadership of Comrade Enver Hoxha, the Marxist-Leninist World Movement emerged with its Marxist-Leninist parties on all continents of the world. After Enver Hoxha's death, the Hoxhaist World Movement fell into the hands of the neo-revisionists, who betrayed Enver Hoxha.

At that time, the Communist International had not yet been restored, but the forces of Hoxhaism that had remained loyal to comrade Enver Hoxha even after his death, were preparing to re-establish it.

Today, the Comintern (SH) exists with its Sections, carrying forward the banner of Comrade Enver Hoxha in the struggle against the world bourgeoisie and all its lackeys, in the struggle for world socialism and world communism.

Our goal today is the final elimination of world imperialism in its entirety, which cannot be achieved without the fight against imperialism in our own country.

The world proletariat never fights under the banner of the proletariat of a single country, but under the banner of the proletarians of all countries.

And in the same way, the world proletariat never fights under the banner of a single imperialist power, never under the banner of an imperialist world camp and never under the banner of world imperialism – as a whole.

On a global scale, the main enemy of the world proletariat is world imperialism and on a global scale it is necessary to destroy world imperialism.

The Comintern (SH) organises the anti-imperialist struggle centrally from 'outside', i.e. on a global scale.

However, the dialectical process of the anti-imperialist struggle can only be successfully concluded by the Comintern (SH) if world imperialism is simultaneously attacked 'inside' each country.

The anti-imperialist struggle is the combined struggle from 'outside' and 'inside', and thus consists of the connection between the struggle on the national and international level. In this context, the struggle against the enemy in one's own country is subordinated to the globalized struggle against world imperialism. This is because the imperialist world system functions in the same way, namely from 'outside' and 'inside' each country. Otherwise, imperialism could not globally exploit and oppress the whole world.

The fight against imperialism in one's own country - that is the anti-imperialist task of the individual Sections of the Comintern (SH), namely to march in step as Sections of the united anti-imperialist proletarian world army under the central leadership of the Comintern (SH).

This is the Stalinist-Hoxhaist dialectic of anti-imperialism, the unity of the struggle at home with the joint struggle on the global battlefield.

This is the Stalinist-Hoxhaist meaning of proletarian internationalism in relation to the relationship between the anti-imperialist struggle in one's own country and on a global scale.

Why do we educate the working class of each country to stand together against the common main enemy, world imperialism?

Because world imperialism can only be overthrown by a world socialist revolution.

Therefore, it is the duty and task of the Comintern (SH) to build a strong world communist party to lead the world proletariat to victory over world imperialism.

Without this prerequisite, the main enemy in one's own country can never be defeated definitively.

We conclude with the encouraging sentence coined by Comrade Enver Hoxha in his book 'Imperialism and Revolution':

'Time is working for the revolution, for socialism, and not for the bourgeoisie and imperialism, not for modern revisionism and world reaction.'

Long live the 116th birthday of Comrade Enver Hoxha, the 5th classic of Marxism-Leninism!

Let us raise the banner of Stalinism-Hoxhaism against world imperialism, globally and in every country in the world!
