Was it really the

end of anti-communism in the USA ?

Of course not !

In practical terms the actual Army-McCarthy hearings are a rather unimportant example of McCarthy's nepotism which only arose because the army refused to give special treatment to one of McCarthy's gangsters which he had gathered around himself in his crusade against communism (another one of McCarthy's gangsters was Roy Cohn who had condemned the brave Communists Julius and Ethel Rosenberg to death). The rather unremarkable hearing only holds any degree of significance because it heralded the downfall of McCarthy. it represented the downfall of McCarthy not because of a great victory of the masses lead by the Communist Party, as much as we would like to claim this to be the case it simply wasn't true, and McCarthy's downfall came only because he made himself so unpleasant to his own bourgeois class that he was quietly deposed while the crusade against communism continued. This is not to say that the bourgeois who turned out McCarthy were supporters of freedom, by no means, the defeat of McCarthy was simply a factional struggle within the American bourgeois Government over the best way to go about suppressing, oppressing and exploiting the people of America and the world.

A history.

From 1950 to 1954 the American bourgeois waged a particularly vicious war of illegality against the CPUSA. This struggle was (in part) led by infamous Wisconsin Senator Joseph McCarthy whose oudious name has gone down in history as a synonym for oppression and censorship. By the hand of McCarthy thousands of people were turned out of their jobs, black books were created and provided to the capitalists with the names of suspected communists and instructions to not employ them. The unions were gutted with all communists turned out and clauses against communist membership were added to union programs. However By the end of the Army-McCarthy Hearings (December 1954) the bourgeois saw fit to depence with a dying,drunk,morphine addled McCarthy who had become an embarrassment to their anti-communist crusade and because his particular form of wild anti-communism (which even caught up members of the bourgeois class and its government in its storm) had lost its usefulness and become a burden to the American capitalist class who then as now like to keep at least the veneer of democracy and the "freedom of ideas" in fact today even many anti-communists scribblers bemoan the damage McCarthy did to their cause. However, by this point critical damage had already been done to the CPUSA. It should be pointed out that McCarthy did not start the anti-Communist offensive in the United States, nor did it end with him (it will not end until the Comintern (SH) and its US section turns out the capitalist class and establishes the Proletarian Dictatorship in America). From the very start of the Communist movement, even in its earliest groupings in 1918, in the United States it was subject to bans from the courts and the bludgeons and bullets of the police. In 1938 the House UnAmerican Activities Committee was established and relentlessly attacked Communists and, like McCarthy, forced hundreds of thousands out of work and in fact many of the crimes of McCarthy were actually committed by the HUAC however the easy to hate swaggering, blustering, drunkard McCarthy took the fall when the masses became fed up. The HUAC was active well after McCarthy's death into the 1970s (actually the functions of the HUAC still exist today just under a different committee) . Today the CIA the FBI the NSA and all sorts of fascist "security agencies'' have been set up to persecute communists, to the destroy their party (namely the Comintern [SH]) , and kill or imprison their best fighters and leaders at home (FBI,NSA) and abroad (CIA)

We are using the Army-McCarthy Hearings as a vehicle to talk more widely and, as American Communists, self critically about the failings of the CPUSA through the 1950s. it is well known that the CPUSA was a troubled party, it was never completely Bolvikized, throughout the 1920s and 1930s it lagged behind the other communist parties when it came to the fundamental questions of the day and was regularly debilitated by factional struggles that were so deep they required extensive intervention from the Comintern and from Comrade Stalin himself to sort out. This allowed for example for the Trotskyite movement (Lovestoneites and Cannonites) in America to grow to become one of the strongest in the world (this is still true today) and caused the American Communists to be severely weakened and ideologically incapacitated in times of great struggle, this is not the worst of it, the party's inexperience and lack of discipline allowed for revisionist elements to rise to leadership positions, We remind you readers that the arch revisionist Earl Browder held leaderships positions in the party as early as 1930. This is not to say that the 1920s-1930s were all bad, by no means was this the case, and in fact the CPUSA made great advances in this time, but rather these cracks and weaknesses when left unaddressed in the American Communist Party were able to be widened by the modern revisionists. As a result of these failing open Modern Revisionism in America assumed a leadership position much earlier than in other parties it was as early as the 1944 that Earl Browder dissolved the communist party in favor of a "Communist Political Association" and allowed all sorts of splitters and revisionists to assume leadership positions in the communist movement this was a disastrous blow to the struggle for Communism in America that the CPUSA never recovered from, despite the claims of the modern revisionists to having "Restored the Communist Party'' to quote Hoxha on this matter "Although the party was re-formed at its 13th Congress in June 1945, and the opportunist line of Browder was formally rejected, his influence was never eliminated in the Communist Party of the USA" (Euro-Communism is Anti-Communism). This brings us to the reformed CPUSA of 1946 and having said all of this against Browder we must state firmly this is not to absolve the later "communist" leadership of their sins W.Z. Foster and Earl Browder share the guilt in the fall of the CPUSA from a revolutionary party of the proletariat into a revisionist party of the "Peaceful Transition to Socialism'' Earl Browder and W.Z. Foster were essentially branches off the same tree of modern revisionism, both were ardent supporters of Dimitrovism however Browder's revisionism (Americanism of the 20th century and the liquidation of the Communist Party) was extremely open and W.Z Foster acted as a hidden revisionist who was able to storm in and oust Browder and in fact earned himself false "anti-revisionist" credentials in doing so (We American Communists actually owe a massive debt to Enver Hoxha because he wrote the first true Marxist-Leninist attack on Browderism, all earlier texts had been written by the revisionist Foster and Co.). So with Revisionism at the head the CPUSA marched out of the 1940s and into the 1950s. Resulting from this troubled state and even though the Communist Party was under constant threats of bans, and in fact was banned at several points in time, adequate measures for illegality were not taken the leadership of the CPUSA of the 1940s had allowed itself to become blind to the class power of the bourgeois it had become drunk on false promises from the bourgeois and its revisionist leadership was leading it down a blind alley. From 1950 to 1954 the CPUSA suffered blow after blow the rank and file of the party became largely disillusioned with it and the party now rife with modern revisionism went forward from the 1950s, not as a hardened Bolshevik Party guided by the teachings of Marx, Engels,Lenin, And Stalin, but as a rump revisionist party in a constant state of both ideological and physical decline.

We must never allow the US Section of the Comintern (SH) to go the way of the CPUSA. We must remain loyal to the leadership Comintern (SH) and the banner of Marx,Engels,Lenin,Stalin, and Hoxha. Further the US Section must learn from the history of the CPUSA, we must not allow ourselves to be taken off guard when the capitalists launch their offensives nor when they send their agents to infect our ranks to spread revisionism in all of its forms and shake the steel of the party. We must adequately make preparations for the countiation of our section even under the harshest conditions of illegality that the capitalists can muster. We of the US Section proudly carry forward the banner of the CPUSA of the Lenin-Stalin Comintern, the banner of a revolutionary party of the proletariat which was thrown in the dirt by the revisionist leadership of the CPUSA, we carry it forward further than it has ever been carried before and now with the lessons of Comrade Hoxha added to it and under the leadership of the Comintern (SH) we will finally carry this banner into world socialism and plant it on the summit of world communism.

Opinion snooping, defamation, marginalisation and the destruction of livelihoods go hand in hand with anti-communism, not only in the USA , but all over the world.

The fascist MacCarthy supporters of today complain about allegedly being publicly "denounced", "hunted" and "persecuted", such as the fascist Trump in the USA, the fascist AfD in Germany or the fascist Putin, who is waging an "anti-fascist" war against the Ukrainian people, and finally Netanyahu, who is waging a war against "anti-Semitism".

In truth, these fascists all over the world today are misusing the communist propaganda methods of our own anti-fascist struggle.
