Hello, dear comrade Wolfgang Eggers.

For the New Year holidays, my family and I went to a beautiful city on the banks of the Volga, the birthplace of the great V. I. Lenin - Ulyanovsk. It was there that Vladimir Ilyich was born and lived his first 17 years.

Lenin on the Volga

There are more than 5 museums in the city, one way or another connected with the life of Vladimir Lenin or the Ulyanov family.

Unfortunately, one of the prides of the city - the Lenin Memorial with its rich exposition and the house where Lenin was born has been closed for 5 years due to government bureaucracy.

However, a new revolution will definitely open its doors!

Nevertheless, the residents of Ulyanovsk preserve the memory of their great fellow countryman and the heroic past of their city and the Russian people.

On January 5, I visited Voskresenskoye Cemetery, where on behalf of the Russian Section I erected a red banner and laid flowers at the burial site of five commissars, fighters for Soviet power, brutally shot by the Whites in July 1918.

I have attached photographs below.

In addition, I am writing with a request from the Russian Section.
