Dear comrades!

This year 2024 marks the 100th anniversary of the founding of the German Red Front Fighters' League in 1924. Therefore we, Russian antifascists, have decided to mark this glorious holiday by founding the Russian Section of the Red Front Fighters' League!

As the Comintern (SH) and comrades from other sections of the RFB have been stating for a long time - world fascism is seizing new heights all over the world and Russia is not becoming an exception in this case. On the contrary, the policy of fascization of the country enjoys the full support of the Putinist authorities. It got its firm, solid foundation after the beginning of the invasion of Ukraine by Russian imperialism in 2022. But this trend clearly existed before 2022. A very famous case when a plastic cup was thrown at a law enforcer during the 2019 protests, which law enforcement deemed a "threat to the life and health of the officer." The "victim" of the plastic cup was later given an expensive apartment. It has become commonplace for the Russian National Guard (RosGvardia) to beat up women, old people, and teenagers during protests.

There are many pro-government fascist organizations in our country. In 2020, a xenophobic organization called "Russian Community" was formed. It was followed in 2022 by the emergence of the "Northern Man". As their practice shows, both of these organizations are new Black Hundreds, as evidenced even by the emblem of the "Russian Community", which they took from the Black Hundreds. The activities of these organizations are not only raids on migrants, but also anti-communist propaganda. It is not excluded that in time they will persecute communists or those who hold "leftist" views.

Every year the Russian authorities' control over the population increases. Non-governmental news publications are blocked, VPNs are blocked, Western social networks are blocked. "Digitalization" of government services leads not only to their simplification, but also to the collection of more and more data from Russians to establish total control. In 2023, for example, Russian schoolchildren were ordered to link their VKontakte accounts to Gosuslugi. This means that the FSB now has direct access to any social media activity of Russian citizens from their youngest age.

This is why our country needs a militant anti-fascist organization more than ever. That is why on July 29 we are founding the Russian section of the Red Front Fighters' League. The Russian proletariat needs a real physical defense against the arbitrariness of the bourgeois police. In addition, the activities of the RFB in Russia will include exposing fascist and social-fascist lies, because many of the "left camp" have long since shown their opportunist, pro-government nature, in particular the social-fascist CPRF, which fully supports the actions of Putin's authorities.

From organizing the most progressive anti-fascists and exposing fascism and social-fascism in the eyes of the working masses, we will move on to creating fighting units to defend the Russian proletariat. Like all other sections of the RFB, we fully recognize the leading role of the Comintern (SH), because it is the most progressive organization that fights fascism and has clear tactics of action for the destruction of fascism and social-fascism on a world scale.

The model for our organization is not the modern "antifa", but the history of the German, Soviet and Albanian antifascist struggle. The armed struggle of the Soviet and Albanian peoples against fascism is an example of what must finally happen to world fascism, namely the overthrow of the world bourgeois-revisionist system and the establishment of world socialism, because only by destroying capitalism can fascism be destroyed. We completely reject the revisionist theory of Dimitrov's "Popular Front", because it has led to disastrous consequences for the world anti-fascist movement - the restoration of capitalism and the establishment of social-fascist regimes in Eastern Europe. The United Front must serve to unite the proletariat against fascism, but an alliance with the twin fascists of fascism - the Social-Democrats, as Comrade Stalin said, who are essentially social-fascists - is impossible.

We, as well as the Polish Section of the RFB, remember the words of Ernst Thälmann:

«The Red Front Fighters' League must defend the proletarian masses against the bloody attacks of the fascists, it must be an incentive for the transfer of the fighting organizations of the proletariat under the leadership of the Communist Party from defence against the fighting measures of the bourgeoisie to the offensive.

The current of history leads inevitably to the victory and triumph of the revolutionary proletariat over the banditry of the world bourgeoisie».
