March 14 2017; it was Brian's birthday. This year it will be an okay one. He and Sal are still not back together because Sal still don't remember their lives together. Although he had showed Sal pictures and other people told Sal about him and Brian. He just shrugged and said he don't remember. Brian was getting desperate to have Sal remember. He wants his baby boy back. Today he didn't want to do much just stay around his home watching TV or playing games even the ones he meant to play for a long time. Sal was in the kitchen getting himself a drink. They are still friends and still living together, but not in the same bed. Brian is still in the guest room which he is okay with, but waking alone sucks. When it is cold out, he wants to have Sal next to him warming him up, but he just settle for lots of blankets. "Brian, do you want a drink?" Sal called from the kitchen. Brian smiled. "Sure bud," he replied and looked over at the TV. He had one of the PPV for WWE on. It was Fastlane. Sal came and sat next to Brian. "Here ya go," he said and handed the Iced Tea to Q. "Thanks," Brian said a he took it from Sal. He opened it and took a sip. Sal looked at Brian and smiled. Brian noticed and slowly looked over at him. "Hey....you okay?" he asked. Sal smiled and nodded. "Yeah I am. Just happy that we are still friends and hanging out. Even on your birthday," he replied. Brian nodded. He was very happy that they are still friends. He glanced down at his wedding ring then over at Sal's finger. He still don't have it on. Brian still have it in his pockets. Sal looked at the TV and watched Fastlane. Brian leaned back on the sofa and watched, too. Earlier he got messages from friends and family members. Some of his friends wanted to take him out and celebrate, but he didn't feel up to it. Last year he did go out, this year he wants to stay in. Brian glanced over at Sal and smiled. "Hey, don't forget to shut the light off," he said. Sal looked at Brian. "Right. Thanks," he said then reached over to the end table and shut the light off. Sal sat back again and continued to watch Fastlane with Brian. After a while of watching Fastlane, Brian got a text from Joe asking what he is doing. Brian texted him back. "Staying in with Sal watching wrestling. Not going out tonight Joe. Don't make me. I want to stay with Sal and help him with his memory." He smiled and put his phone down. After a few seconds Joe texted back. "Oh. Happy Birthday again Brian. Good luck with Sal. Hope he remembers something else." Brian read the message and smiled.

During the show, Sal laid his head on Brian's shoulder since he let him do that. Brian smiled and looked at Sal. He loved that Sal would put his head on shoulder. It feels great to have him this close. After a while, Sal excused himself to go the bathroom. Brian paused the show and waited for Sal. He glanced around the living room and saw pictures of him and Sal with friends and each other. He got his phone and looked through his twitter. He saw lots of fans wishing him a happy birthday. He liked some of them then put his phone down. Brian got up and went to the kitchen to get another bottle of Iced Tea. He put the empty one in the recycling bin they had next to the trash can. He got one for Sal, too then went to the living room and sat down. He put the bottles down and waited for Sal. Soon Sal came down and sat next to Brian. "I brought you another drink," he said. Sal smiled and thanked him. Brian nodded and unpaused the show.

After the show, Sal looked over at Brian. "I knew that Goldburg would win the title. I like Kevin, but he got no chance against Goldburg," he said. Brian smirked as he nodded. "I know, but hey, it's fine. Kevin will get it back," he said. Sal shrugged and took a sip of his Iced Tea. "So....birthday boy...want to go out for dinner? My treat. I'll pay for us both," he said. Brian smiled and nodded. "Sure we can do that. Thanks Sal," he said. "And we can continue talking about our past together," Sal said. "Sure we can do that. I...want things to go back to normal between us. Being husbands again," he said. Sal thought about it. He does want to remember his life with Brian. He only remembers being best friends with him. He thought he had a girlfriend, but Brian told him that he broke up with her after telling Q how he felt about him. Brian shut the TV off and got up from the sofa. Sal looked up at him. "Okay. Let's go," Brian said.

At 7 PM; Brian and Sal went to Ambrosino's Pizzeria & Restaurant. One of Brian's favorite place to eat at. They ordered their food then sat down once they got their pizzas and drinks. Brian looked at Sal and smiled. "Thanks for paying Sal. I know you probably thought I would go somewhere else to eat, but....I wanted pizza for my birthday," he said. Sal smiled back and nodded. "No problem Brian. Now you can tell me all about us and how we became married," he said. "I want to get my memories back and to have our life be normal again." Brian took a bite of pizza and nodded. Sal looked at him and waited. Brian took a sip of his drink then got to telling Sal their story. "We loved each other since high school. We didn't tell each other until senior year then we started dating until April 20, 2015. We got married on Staten Island in our backyard in front of our friends and families," he said. Sal smiled as he listened to Brian. He took a bite of his pizza. "Everyone was very happy for us and supported us right from the start. At first you was scared to tell everyone, but eventually you finally told everyone and I was there by your side," Brian said. Sal took a sip of his iced tea and nodded. "Was I there when you told your family?" he asked. "Yeah. I wanted you there," Brian said and smiled. Sal smiled back and continued to eat his pizza. "We were so happy until the accident," Brian said and sighed. He looked at his wedding ring. Sal glanced at Brian. "And now we are here trying to get my memories back," he said quietly. Brian glanced back at Sal and nodded. Sal took a sip of his drink then ate his pizza. Brian smiled and ate his slice.

After they finished up, Sal and Brian went back to the jeep and thought about where to go now. Brian looked out the window and glanced at the other cars. Sal watched him and bit his bottom lip then reached for his hand and held it. Brian felt Sal's hand and smiled a little. "One step at a time," Sal said. "Yeah. One step at a time," Brian repeated and looked over at him. He squeezed Sal's hand then leaned over towards him. Sal smiled and meet him half way. They kissed for a moment. Brian pulled away and smiled at Sal. "Missed that," he said. Sal smiled back. "I do, too. I am kind of getting my memories back a little bit," he said. "Oh. You are getting your memories back then? What do you remember?" Brian asked. Sal looked down and thought about it. "Um...us. We were always with each other, right?" he asked slowly then looked up at Brian who nodded and smiled. "Always babe. Sorry. I shouldn't say that," he said and put his hand over his face. Sal laughed a little and shook his head. "It's okay. You can call me babe, baby or whatever. I think it will help me in case it helps me with my memories," he said. Brian put his hand down as he nodded. "Okay," he said. Sal glanced out the window then looked back at Brian. "Happy Birthday, Brian," he said. "Thank you, Sal. Let's go home," Brian said. Sal agreed and Brian drove them back home.
