I still do NOT own Naruto or anything, this is just a Fanfic..............But I DO own Leaha/Saki and Kale
ALSO!!! when something is in * * that means its inside her head (mostly Kale talking, but some is Leaha) when something is in " " that means its outloud (cause when she's alone Leaha/Saki finds it annoying to think everything, so it switches back and forth a little)

CHAPTER 2-~-
I woke up groggily, damn my back hurts. I stretched up and felt something hit my hand. I pulled on it and a leaf came off in my hand. Leaves? I looked around, why the hell am I in a tree!! "Kale!!" *What?* "Why are we in a freakin tree!!" I screeched, holding on to the branch for dear life. *How am I supposed to know?!*
Suddenly a raven haired boy appeared next to me. I looked over surprised, "Ahhhhhhh!!!" I let out a girly scream. He whipped his head around, eyes wide, "Ahhhh!!" he backed up against the tree's trunk. I slipped and fell, grabbing onto the branch below the one I was sitting on. I sighed relieved, until I started losing my grip; I gripped tighter wishing it would hold. I felt a tingling sensation in my hand and I abruptly stopped slipping. I waited and it still held; I was elated, I'm not gonna die, I smiled. What caused me to stop? I wondered, my eyes traveled up my arm to my hands.
My mouth went dry, where my hands and wrists should have been were large black paws, gripping the bark with sharp claws. I let go with a yelp, closing my eyes tightly; that did not just happen, that did not just happen! I repeated to myself. I opened my eyes a second later, the boy, I looked back to the branch I'd seen him on, which was getting farther away by the second. He was gone, but that wasn't what had me freaking out; the boy I had seen... it had been Kale.
I closed my eyes again as the ground got exceedingly closer, I growled in pain as my left shoulder glanced a branch. Just when I thought this fall was never going to end, damn this is a tall tree, I landed on something. "OWWW!" I looked at what, or more likely by the continuing choruses of 'ow' and cursing, who I landed on. I furrowed my brows, this can't be right, I thought; my person or boy I had landed on had spiky yellow hair, whisker like lines, or maybe they were scars?, on his cheeks and strangely familiar deep blue eyes.
I know those eyes; I freaked out jumping up quickly. My skull collided with something hard and everything started to spin. I fell back into the tree, my sight and hearing going in and out. I felt myself slipping away as a familiar voice asked me if I was ok. I smiled lazily as I let the darkness wash over; I was right, I thought, it was Naruto.
I awoke with a start to a sickeningly white room. What the hell happened, I flinched as pain shot through my head and shoulder when I sat up. I reached up with my uninjured arm and felt my head, it was wrapped in bandages, as was my opposite shoulder. *Man, you're really beat up* "Kale you ass, why didn't you help me!" "Shhhh!!!" he whispered. And there he was, standing next to my bed with his hand over my mouth. My eyes widened, "be quiet someone might hear you," he whisper yelled. "One, he held up a finger; I was a little freaked out, one minute I was wishing I could get a better look around and the next thing I knew I was sitting across from you screaming your head off! And two, he held up a second finger; by the time you were falling, I was already back in your body!"
"Does that mean you saw what happened to my hands?" I asked flexing them, still not sure of what I saw. "Yea, they were paws with claws and everything." "We landed on Naruto," I whispered, my memory slowly coming back to me. "I think our wish came true," he said softly. "Our wish?" I asked confused; my head throbbing a little, whether out of shock or the injury I wasn't sure. "When we saw the shooting star...last night," he said the last part uncertainly. "We wished to be in the Naruto world just like in our daydreams." "So that's why you're in your own body," I looked up at him, "at least you look the same." "Yea, you do too, only in anime." I looked back up at him, I didn't even notice he was in anime.
"I guess that means..." I froze. "Means what," Kale asked, concern layering his voice. "My hands turned to paws! And if you're able to be outside my head..." "We can change shape too!" he finished for me, apparently just realizing it himself. In a flash his hands had gently, but securely pinned me to the bed, "I wasn't gonna do anything," I pouted. "Sure you weren't," he smirked. He let me go, "you're hurt and we're in the Konoha hospital, you're not trying it now." "Fine," I said, knowing the bastard had a point.
"You should get back in my body before someone sees you. A nurse or something is bound to check on me soon and it would be just our luck that it would be when you're visible." He rolled his eyes before disappearing without even a puff of smoke. *That's right...how are we going to explain why you're here and get you into the ninja academy* I raised an eyebrow, "and how do you know they're still in school?" He smirked *weren't you paying attention, he was wearing those green goggles when you landed on him* "Oh no I'm sorry, I was too busy falling!" I replied sarcastically. His smirk grew wider before disappearing completely and being replaced by a thoughtful frown. *well you're going to have to meet with the Hokage eventually; this isn't one of those fan-fics you're always reading where they just let you in, no questions asked. They'll assume you're a spy or threat unless we think of something...*
He was quiet for a while, thinking of a plan I assumed, I sighed and inspected the room more thoroughly. It looked like the one I've seen Naruto and other characters in throughout the series; white walls, curtains and sheets, small wooden bedside table, small chair to the side of the bed and of course, a window. Do all these rooms have windows or just the ones they show? I mean they can't all have windows, what about the ones across the hall? Hmpf, I guess they just liked the idea of a window being in all the important characters rooms or something. I was starting to get bored, do people even work here? I haven't seen a soul and I've been awake for at least an hour and a half. Was there always a carpet in here? It's an actual color too, green... oh my god I'm so damn BORED!
"KALE!!" I whined. *Keep your voice down! What do you want? I'm trying to think of a plan* "I'm borrrrrrred," I anime cried; wow that's weird, it's like a whole new level of facial expressions, I thought, momentarily distracted. *Well if you want to stay here you'll let me think in peace and stop interrupting me, find some way to amuse yourself* he said irritated. I laughed as I felt an anime irritated vein thing throb on his head. He just rubbed his temples and went back to his thoughts, leaving me in silence once again.
After another few minutes I got up slowly, careful not to irritate my wounds or Kale, and went to the window. It was a beautiful day, I looked down the side of the building and saw the entrance 10 windows over on the left side. I guess I'm in the front part of the hospital, I looked towards the ground counting 2 windows below me, and on the third floor. I sighed and followed the road's path down towards the village's center with my eyes, seeing if I could spot anyone familiar.
Nope not a soul, I rested my head on the window sill watching random strangers walk in and past the hospital. I hope I never have to spend any extra time here, it's so boring; no wonder Naruto hates it. I looked down the road again, something white catching my eye; I peered closer, looking past the tree next to the road's leaves. A cloak or something? OH NO! I ducted down, my eyes at the same level as the window sill. "Kale!" I whispered urgently, "KALE!" *What?!* he huffed annoyed. "I hope you thought of a plan," I said, "because the Hokage is making his way down the road towards the HOSPITAL!" I shrieked.
Kale appeared crouching down next to me. He watched the old man make his way closer to the building, suddenly his eyes started to glint evilly and a grin formed on his lips. "Oh no," I groaned, I knew that look, he's got a plan alright. He disappeared a second later; I went back to my bed and got in, trying not to freak out.
*Calm down and listen, he might not be here to see you, but if he is I got a plan...* He then proceeded to explain his plan, telling me that if I thought I couldn't do it, I should just give up control of my voice and let him do the talking. If he wanted to do a mind probe jutsu thing to see if I'm hiding anything, I should let him, Kale would just put up a wall against them so they wouldn't know he was there.
I went over the plan in my head as I laid back in bed, slowly relaxing and remembered what Kale had said *You're not even lying, most of what you say will be true so don't be nervous. You don't know how you got here, you just woke up in a tree, fell out and landed on some boy; don't mention any names you don't want them thinking you're a spy, play dumb; ask where you are and how you got there. And if you get stuck I'll help you out, plus he's a nice old man so just act cute and scared, it'll work like a charm.*
I put on a dazed look as I heard footsteps outside the door. *What if he sees right through me!* *He won't don't worry, I'm right here* he assured me, and it helped calm my nerves a little, if that fails he might just think I'm scared cause I don't know where I am. I left the worried look on my face, if I got a real emotion that fits the situation I might as well use it. The door slid open revealing an unfamiliar ninja who went to stand near the wall as the Hokage entered the room, softly closing the door behind him. I watched him nervously as he came around the side of my bed sitting down in the nearby chair.
"Hello and what is your name," he asked in his familiar gravelly voice. "Ahh hi, Saki Kiyomizu" I said nervously, thankfully I was able to remember a Japanese name I had once looked up back home. He gave a kind smile, "pleasure to meet you Saki, I am Sarutobi and the third Hokage of the Village Hidden in the Leaves. Do you know where you are or how you came to be here," he asked. "The Village Hidden in the Leaves? And no all I remember is falling out of a tree and landing on some boy with spiky yellow hair." He chuckled, "Yes, you are indeed in the Leaf Village and the boy you had landed on was Naruto and he was the one who brought you here after you blacked out.
How did you come to be in that tree? Where are you from?" "I don't know," I answered as honestly as I could, "all I remember is looking at the stars and then falling asleep, when I woke up I was in that tree and then I started falling and I woke up here." He nodded taking in what I said, "And you don't remember where you're from or who your parents are?" I pretended to think for a moment before answering, "No I don't remember anything before the tree other than looking at the stars." He sighed, "just as I thought." I looked at him confused. "When you were brought in we did a check on your mental status and found a strange block in your mind, we tried to remove it but nothing worked, we think you might have amnesia." "Umm ok... so what now," I asked uncertain of what he wanted me to say to that.
He stared at me thoughtfully for a while, I started to squirm; I never liked being the center of attention. "I'm not sure," he said slowly, trying to pick next words carefully, "you could stay here..." "Here! In the hospital!" I put my hands on either side of my head; there is no way IN HELL that I am staying in this place! I would die of boredom, no one would visit me and I'd have to sit here all day, alone, no TV, no music, NOTHING! He saw my expression and quickly continued, trying to calm me down, "No no no no no, in the village child, are you that afraid of hospitals?" "Yes," I said, if it was the fastest way to get me out of here I'll take it.
"Well..." he looked like he was battling with himself over something, "if you were to stay...I could provide you with a place to live, but you'd have to get a job, I can't provide everything for you." My eyes lit up hopefully, *this is even easier than I thought, just keeping doing what you're doing, we're in the homestretch* Kale whispered. *You sound really evil you know that?* he just flashed a quick smile and wink in response.
"There aren't very many jobs here for someone your age... how old are you again?" he asked. *say your real age, it's not that far from Naruto's so you should be ok* "I'm 15," I replied, hoping I could still get myself into the academy anyway. He nodded, "I was thinking around that age, the only thing you could really do is..." he hesitated, trying to decide whether or not he should say his next words. "Is..." I asked, trying to hurry him along. He sighed, finally coming to a decision, "the only thing you could really do is...become a ninja," he finally finished. I hid my triumphant smile and looked at him seriously, "alright, I'll do it."
He gave me a worried look, like one a grandparent would give their grandchild when they were doubting their safety. "Are you sure? Being a ninja takes a lot of work, dedication, you could even die and you must be prepared to pay that price." I thought about it, really thought about it this time; could I do it? Would I really go through the, most likely, excruciating pain that will come with the future battles and the emotional pain from possibly not being able to use my knowledge to help?
I have the ability to change their futures forever, for the better... and the worst. I remained silent for a good while longer; I was surprised by how patient the old man was. But I guess he was just happy I was actually thinking things through and not rushing into a decision, like Naruto or his grandson. *You won't be in this alone, I'm right here with you and I'll protect you with my life* Kale said determinedly. I took a deep breath, I had made my decision, "Yes," I said seriously, looking Hokage Sarutobi in the eyes, "I want to be a ninja."
