Danny was tying his shoes and suddenly robots came busting through the floor or flying by. "get off the bridge" wanda told the people, before she used her powers to protect them from the robots shooting.

Wanda huffed heavily as she held up her half made shield, tanking the bolts from the bots "Run!". But shields weren't Wanda's thing or specialty and wanda was hit as her shield dissolved and she fell to the ground harshly.

"Sister!" Danny shouted as ran to his sister, he bent down next to her, helping the girl get up while surrounding the two in his spherical force fields.

Danny took his sisters hand and ran to Clint, but before they could run any further, loud sound erupted from everywhere and the city took off in the air.

He behind his sister as the two later low behind a car, Clint next to them shooting arrows at the bots. Loudly, ultrons voice rang out throughout the city. "You, avengers, you are my meteor. my swift and terrible sword and the earth will crack with the weight of your failure. purge me from your computers, turn my own flesh against me"

next to them barton hit one of the ultrons with his arrow. "it means nothing, when the dust settles, the only thing living in this world, will be metal"

Wanda looked at her little brother shakily before nodding at him prompting the two to stand up and help. Danny threw his arms out using his powers to create two separate forcefields, one around him and Wanda while the other around Clint. As Wanda helped take out bots.

"stark, you worry about bringing the city down safely" steve spoke into the comms. "the rest of us have one job, tear these things apart. you get hurt, hurt them back. you get killed, walk it off"

"That wasn't...very helpful" Danny huffed out. As he ran around with Clint and Wanda, keeping the fields up while the other two help escort people protect them from the bots.

But soon things became too much as a bot flew at the field to quickly for Wanda to reacting, ramming straight into it, Danny losing focus causing his and Wanda force field to pop sending them both to the ground.

"Uhh" Danny grunted in pain.

"Danny!" Wanda shouted in worrying, forgetting about Herself as she helped the boy up. Danny felt a stingy pain in his arm and reached for it only to wince upon contact, the boy pulled his hand away to see blood staining his hand.

"Wanda!" The boy now panicked as tears glistened over his eyes.

The girl just cupped her brothers face. "Shhh..shh..it's ok. It's ok—" the girl was cut off as a group of ultron boys surrounded the three.

"Go go go!" Clint yelled as he ran at two throwing themselves through a window into a nearby store. Danny put up a half force field to shield them from any further damage.

Clint pushed himself against the wall under the broken window, Wanda crawling to do the same as she pulled Danny along, the boy whining in pain.

"How could I let this happen....I'm sorry...I'm so sorry Dani'il!" She cried. Seeing the blood stain her little brothers sleeve was not something she wanted to ever have in her mind...not in a million years.

Clint leaned over to look out the window before leaning over to inspect Danny. "A piece of the rubble must of gashed him pretty bad."

"It hurts so much." Danny cried, making Clint stare at the boy in sadness. A "ten year old" shouldn't be going through something like fighting murderous bots! They should be drawing ugly pictures or creating messes for their parents to clean up... .The arch sighed.

"This is all our fault. This is our fault.." Wanda stated as she kept a hold of Danny and panicked. The boy leaned into his sister and trembled, with everything that was happening he felt as if it was all a bad dream—no he wanted all of this to be just some stupid nightmare his mind conjured up.

"Hey! You ok?"clint grabbed the girls shoulder

"hey, look at me! It's your fault, it's my fault, it's everyone's fault! Who cares? are you guys up for this? Are you? Look I just need to know? Because the city's flying and we're fighting an army of robots... and I have a bow and arrows none of this makes sense—" the archer paused to take out a robot who shot at them.

"But I'm going back out there, because it's my job, okay? And I can't do my job and babysit! It doesn't matter what you did or what you were. If you go out there yout fight..and you fight to kill. If you stay in here you're good! I'll send your brother to come and get you guys. But if you step out that door, you are an Avenger" Clint stated as he looked at both of the Maximoffs.

Danny trembled a bit as he looked at Clint while Wanda did the same and held the boy closer to her.

"Alright good chat." Clint said as he the got up and went out to go fight.

Wanda watched as Clint left, then took ahold of danny and made him look at her. She grimaced as she saw how much pain he was in before looking at his arm. She slowly got up, positioning the boy against the wall slowly as he cried out in pain.

"I'm gonna help you in a bit Dan just wait.." she said panicking as she searched around the shop.

"Wanda!" The boy cried out.

The girl let out a breath of relief as she found a rag. "I'm coming" she said as she ran to her brother. "Bear with me Danny." She said before taking the boys arm and wrapping the rag around it tightly. Danny screaming and grunting in pain.

The boy heaved heavily as he closed his eyes for a few minutes before opening them and looking at his sister, nodding his head. The girl smiling at him in response.

"Let's fix our mess." The boy said tiredly.

Clint took out multiple robots before hiding behind a car as a horde of them surrounded him.

the doors of a the building opened and wanda walked out surrounded by a violet shimmering force field, she threw her hand out sending an whisp towards one of the bots making it shoot another then she ripped it in half and threw it at another bot.

Clint seeing this, smile before joining her and getting to head shots. Wanda collected a lot of energy before thrusting it forward towards the rest shattering them upon impact.

barton and maximoff nodded to each unaware of the bot behind them. "Look out!" Danny threw out his left arm which was uninjured, sending a force blade at the bot, slicing it in half.

Wanda smiled at her brother while Clint looked at him in bewilderment. "Wait, isn't that the same thing you hit me with back when we were enemies?"

"Yes?" Danny looked at the man puzzled

"How come it didn't do that to me?" He looked back and forth between the robot and Danny.

"You weren't my target... stark was."

Clint clicked his tongue before chuckling. "Gotcha."

barton walked next to wanda "all right we're all clear here" he spoke into the comms

"we are not clear, we are very not clear!" steve answered. "all right, coming to you"

blue light rushed and suddenly pietro appeared, taking both his siblings on each arm. he turned to barton "keep up, old man" and ran.

Clint aimed his bow towards the direction pietro just left in. "Nobody would know? Nobody." He put the bow away before running off. "Last time I saw him, ultron was sitting on him. Yea he'll be missed, that quick little bastard. I miss him already!" Clint spoke to himself.

Pietro stopped in the middle of a street, he gave both his siblings a boost, Wanda instantly taking the robots apart as Danny sliced them in half's.

"hold your fire" the police man behind them advised his men.

while they were fighting, pietro suddenly was shot in the shoulder. He gave the police an incredulous look earning a chuckle from Danny

His chuckling stopping , once the city reached the clouds and dark smoke took in everything.

"the next wave is gonna hit any minute, what do you got, stark?" steve asked.

"huh? nothing great. maybe a way to blow up the city. that'll keep it from impacting the surface if you guys can get clear"

"I asked for an solution, not an escape plan"

"the impact radius is getting bigger every second. we're gonna have to make a choice"

"cap, these people are going nowhere. If stark finds a way to blow tho rock..."

"not till everyone's safe"

"everyone up here versus everyone down there? there's no math there"

"I'm not leaving this rock with one civilian on it"

"I didn't say we should leave" steve turned to look at natasha. she nodded "there's worse ways to go"

"where else am I gonna get a view like this?"

suddenly another voice erupted on the comms. "Glad you like the view, romanoff. it's about to get better"

a gigantic ship rose in front of them

"fury you son of a bitch"

"ooh, you kiss your mother with that mouth?"

smaller carriers flew out of the ship and arranged them self at the edge of the city.

"this is S.H.I.E.L.D.?" pietro asked in astonishment

"this is what S.H.I.E.L.D. Is supposed to be" steve explained

"this is not so bad" pietro smiled

"let's load them up" steve said, before him and the rest of the group turned around and started to bring civilians onto the ships.

Danny helping Wanda and Clint escort people to the ships.

"Avengers it's time to do some work for a living." Tony spoke through the comms after while.

Wanda took Danny's hand and followed Clint towards the church. Upon entering pietro immediately sped to his siblings.

"Are you good?" pietro asked wanda, who was also coming in. "yeah" he turned his attention to Danny bending down to his level, inspecting him only to see his bloody sleeve.

"What happened! Are you ok? Does it hurt!" Pietro bombarded the boy with questions.

Danny ignored them and instead wrapped him in a tight hug, breathing a breath of relief.

"romanoff, you and banner better not be playing 'hide the zucchini'" stark spoke into the comms

"relax, shellhead. not all of us can fly" a truck held in front of the church and natasha made her way inside.

"what's the drill?" she asked

"this is the drill" stark pointed at the core. "if ultron gets a hand on the core, we lose"

robots tried to enter the church, but were smashed by hulk in the process. ultron flew in front of the entrance.

"is that the best you can do?" thor screamed. ultron rose his hand up and thousands of robots came running to the church.

"you had to ask" steve said, sarcastically.

"this is the best I can do" ultron spread his arms. "this is exactly what I wanted. all of you, against all of me. how can you possibly hope to stop me?"

"well, like the old man said.." stark started while looking at steve. "..together"

hulk roared and the robots started to sprint into the church. all of the avengers fought them, side by side.

Each one, using their specialty's, barton shooting arrows and covering everyone's back, stark flying around to take out the airborne ones and wall crawlers,Danny simultaneously throwing force blades here and there while putting up a force field around himself or other when necessary, wanda used her telekinesis, hulk smashing and biting the, steve and vision used their super-strength, thor his hammer. natasha used her combat skills and turned the robots against each other and pietro destroyed them with his superspeed.

finally they had fought off all the incoming robots. vision, thor and stark combined their abilities to destroy ultron. his metal melted under their combined forces.

"you know, with the benefit of hindsight.." ultron rose back to his feet, but before he could finish his sentence, hulk had thrown him away. the remaining robots started to run away as hulk turned in their direction, he close behind them

"they'll try to leave the city" thor said. "we can't let them. not even one. rhodey"

"I'm on it" the man in question answered

"we gotta move out. even I can tell the air is getting thin. you guys get to the boats. I'll sweep for stragglers, be right behind you" steve ordered

"what about the core?" asked barton

"I'll protect it" wanda answered. barton turned to her, confused. "it's my job" he nodded at her, a proud look taking over his features.

"nat, this way" natasha and barton left the church, while steve ran in the other direction.

lastly, pietro entered. "get the people on the boats" wanda ordered her siblings.

"we're not going to leave you here" pietro answered

"I can handle this" as if to confirm her words, a robot came running in and wanda destroyed it with ease.

pietro nodded. "come back for me, when everyone else is off, not before"

Pietro grunted annoyed. "You understand!" Wanda's voiced firmly.

He walked a few steps and turned around, a sarcastic grin spread on his face. "you know, I'm twelve minutes older than you."

wanda chuckled. "go"

"Wait what?" Danny looked between confused. He was too busy looking at his arm wound to listen in on their conversation.

"Come on we're leaving Danny"

"But who's gonna protect Wanda!" The boy looked between the two with a worried expression.

"I'm a big girl Dan, I can handle myself. You need to worry about yourself and go get treated! You've done your part, now rest!" She looked at the boy sternly. "I mean it Dani'il Maximoff"

The boy flinching upon hearing his full name. "You better come back to us!" He said.

"I will." Wanda chuckled.

Pietro picked up Danny into his arms and ran them out of the church. He dropped him infront of one of the ships.

"go on the boat" pietro commanded Danny .

"piet" evi begged, unsure what to do.

"No buts Danny! Remember our promise..and remember what Wanda told you. You've done your part now rest." he assured him

"Please....make sure you and Wanda come get me, ok?" He requested, looking down sadly.

"I promise" He said, before he nudged his head and took off. Danny staring at his blur.

"Costel!" He could hear a woman scream. He recognised her, it was the women with the little brother, whose name she called.

"we were in the market" she explained

Danny listened in, as barton took off running, he had found the little boy sitting a few meters away from the boat.

Danny stood up walking towards the exit of the boat. As he watched Clint get the boy he smiled a bit before he then heard a round of loud gun shots blasting through. The boy looked over and seen a ship blasting by shooting at the ground. He watched as the bullets went by Steve and Thor,

Everything was happening so quickly, he watched as it was now heading straight towards Clint and the boy. Danny's eyes widened before he got off the boat and started to run to them.

As he was running he watched Clint turn his back to take the hits for the boy. "NO!" Danny yelled as he tried to quicken his pace only for him to trip and fall.

Right when little maximoff fell he let out a grunt as he slid on the floor. He quickly looked up as he threw his left hand forward, unsure of whether he was able to shield in time or not. The boy staring at the dust for a second before his chest felt empty causing his face to fall blank as his eyes widened.

Danny was a bit puzzled, sitting up only to see Pietro standing in front of Clint and the boy, the image of his brother filled with bloody holes engraving itself into his mind forever. The boy just stared at the scene as tears began to spill uncontrollably. "You didn't see that coming..." Pietro said before he fell to the ground.

"NOOO!" Danny screamed out as he got up and ran to Pietro now limp lifeless body. The boy dropped to his knees next to his brother."THIS ISNT FUNNY!?" Danny sobbed out as he shook Pietros lifeless body.

Clint knelt down and reached to check pietros pulse as steve came running up. The archer looked at the man with a solemn look.

"You're gonna be ok!" Danny chocked out as he laid his head on Pietros back, not caring if the blood got in his face or not. "Everything's going to be ok...we just need a doctor—Yes that's right! A doctor will help." The boy closed his eyes and sobbed as he gripped at his brothers corpse.

"Kid—" Steve put a hand on his shoulder.

"STOP IT!" The boy screamed causing the two older men to flinch back, the boy Clint saved just staring at Pietros face. "Nothings wrong! He's just sleeping..."

The men just sighed. Clint picked up costel as Steve turned and picked up pietro, Danny looking on blankly. "He'd want a comfortable spot to sleep...he'll wake up after a good nap so make it comfortable!" He said blankly.

The "five" silently going back to the boats, and when they reached it costel went to his mother as Steve laid pietro on the floor. Danny fell to Pietros side looking at him and cried, he then felt a hand on his head from Clint who was laying on the seats next to them.

Danny didn't react to it at all he just broke down. The young boy felt sick to his stomach before he turned away from him and looked at the city. Before he knew it he watched as the city forcefully go crashing down to the earth. Danny eyes widened before he felt tears fall down his cheeks "Wanda..." the boy mumbled before he felt his body go numb, passing out and falling on top of pietro.

Wanda stalked towards ultron, the bot beat and battered while lying in a train. The girl looked at him while playing with whisp and bent to his level.

"Wanda,....if you stay here. You'll die" he breathed out.

"I just did. Do you know how it felt?" Her voice became darker as she thrusted her power into the robots chest ripping out his heart.

She looked at his heart before looking back at him. "It felt like that!" The girls voice dripping with venom. Her moment getting interrupted as the city came crashing down.

Wanda looked around as she floated in the air. The vision quickly coming to rescue, flying through the rubble and finding her, picking her up like a princess and getting them both to safety.

"Well, we're not the '27 Yankees." Steve said as he was walking with Natasha around a compound.

"We got some hitters."

"They're good. They're not a team."

"Let's beat them into shape," Natasha agreed, walking through the door into the training space where Rhodey standing there in his suit, Vision turning around to face them, Sam flying down while retracting his wings, and Wanda levitating down in a large violet bubble with Danny floating behind her and the thing popped upon landing. The boy adorning a long black hooded cloak.

Steve looked out over them. "Avengers..."
