So while waiting for the final chapter and epilogue of season one, I'll just share some Y/n x Scaramouche headcanons that have been living in my head rent free while I was working on the fic and outlining the entire story.

"Y/n prefers to call Scaramouche by his name, and vice versa."
Somewhat self explanatory, if y'all ever observed that throughout reading the entire fic so far, they didn't really established any nicknames for one another (except for the "Scara" nickname, but not exactly used frequently). They both prefer their actual names as they feel it's more intimate and special than mere nicknames. They never get tired speaking each other's name. Y/n found it therapeutic to call him by his name.
Also, when in an argument, Y/n will call him Kunikuzushi instead of Scaramouche.

"Scaramouche always takes off his hat whenever he pays attention to Y/n or spends his private time with her."
Because Y/n is actually the taller person between the two, she often has difficulty communicating face-to-face with Scaramouche, hence why he takes it off and place it down somewhere. It's also easier for him to just take it off since it feels heavy on his head whenever her looks upward to talk to Y/n.
Another reason why Scaramouche takes off the hat is because whenever he sits down with Y/n he always finds himself receiving gentle headpats from her. He secretly loves it and often pretends to fall asleep so Y/n wouldn't suspect a thing whenever she does it.

"Scaramouche and Y/n sing for each other."
During the day, Y/n sings him songs whenever he rests for a while in between work.
During the night, Scaramouche lulls Y/n to sleep by humming or singing lullabies... Though the lullabies he sing used to be the same ones Kaedehara Y/n used to sing for him.
While Scaramouche does sing for Y/n, he only does it for her exclusively. Y/n sings to everyone, even to the children in Tatarasuna since they moved there.

"Ever since his engagement, Scaramouche switched his break time within his daily schedule into private time with Y/n."
Scaramouche always ensures that these parts of his schedules never get missed or skipped, otherwise, he would punish himself for not doing so. Y/n isn't really aware of it and assumes most of the time that his work is rather light if he was going spend so much time with her within the day.
For reference, Scaramouche will spend time with Y/n every two-three hours in a full working day, and he spends at least an hour whenever it's time to be with her.

"Everynight, Scaramouche lays down beside Y/n to watch over her while she sleeps."
Despite being a puppet, who doesn't need any sleep, he still goes ahead to have a bedtime routine and join Y/n in bed, lulling her to sleep before he watches over her. Since the first night they met, Y/n had been having reoccurring nightmares, so he made it a habit to be nearby and prepared to comfort her during and after a nightmare.

"Whenever Y/n is having a nightmare, Scaramouche cradles her in his arms."

As stated from the previously mentioned headcanon, Scaramouche is always nearby and ready to be with Y/n during and after her nightmares. He knew it was all about the false guilt that was drilled into her mindset since childhood.
After waking up from a nightmare, Scaramouche would often soothe her by... Kissing her. Yes. Straight up make out with her gently until she calms down. It was thanks to the one time Y/n asked him about how to kiss ever since they shared their first kiss together.

"Y/n actually knows a lot of Fatui information thanks to the house of the Hearth and Scaramouche."
It's no wonder now since Y/n is literally Arlecchino's goddaughter, and Scaramouche's fiance. She was also aware of the plan to gather all of the six gnoses, hence her knowledge about Zhongli being Morax (mentioned in the "Exerting meaningless efforts" chapter).
Because of possessing such knowledge, she's been treasured and protected as if she were a harbinger, and was sometimes kept in check to ensure she wouldn't disclose any sensitive information outside the Organization.
But we all damn know Y/n wouldn't just do that on a whim, except when she revealed to Lumine that she knew about Zhongli being Morax, but that was it.

"Y/n wanted to have a child with Scaramouche, but..."
She already knew the truth about Scaramouche being a puppet after meeting Ei in the plane of Euthymia. Despite the reassurance from Ei of the possibility of having children with him, she couldn't grasp how a puppet could get her pregnant. She already decided then to just adopt once they get married, but she just scraped the idea altogether when she brought up the topic of starting a family with him one time during dinner.
She observed how uncomfortable and... Traumatized Scaramouche seemed to be when she first talked about it, and she never uttered a word about it ever again since.
Also, she thought it was for the best not to have any children since she was actually scared of being a mother, fearing she couldn't be the mother she wished her late mother could've been for her.

"Scaramouche is the type to be so mean towards everyone, except Y/n."
The difference in treatment is obvious as you read the fic. He only acts and speaks soft to Y/n while he hisses and snarls at others who aren't Y/n.

Scara height - 5'3
Because of the height difference, Scaramouche often sits on Y/n's lap whenever they cuddle during the day.

"If Scaramouche is a neko brat, then Y/n is a sweet(but sad) imouto."
It's just their overall vibe in a nutshell.

"Scaramouche is annoyed that Y/n has a lot of secret admirers and suitors."
Y/n has A LOT of suitors all the way from Fontaine, especially the Fatui who had the chance to meet Y/n back in Fontaine.
Scaramouche is also aware that even his own subordinates have crushes on Y/n, but he knows that none of them will make a move while he's around. Otherwise, he'll have to take drastic measures to eliminate them and do intensive cover ups so that Y/n wouldn't get any ideas since she's well acquainted with his subordinates.

"Y/n is not surprised that Scaramouche has secret admirers and suitors."
Y/n got the hint since she observed how beautiful Scaramouche actually is, especially his facial features that makes up the reason why he is so beautiful (take not, bro is canonically beautiful in the lore and in-game). She's not jealous or anything, because she trusts him enough that he wouldn't betray his love for her despite the obscure amount of admirers he has.

"Y/n L/n IS Kaedehara Y/n and her destined lover for all lifetimes is Scaramouche, no matter what becomes of him and her."
Y/n L/n is the actual reincarnation of Kaedehara Y/n. The Kaedehara family assumed it was Y/n's late mother due to the resemblance, but after Y/n's birth, it was actually her.
Explanation why her destined lover for all lifetimes is Scaramouche will be revealed once I cook up something for y'all.

"Y/n has been reaching out to Ei for meetups to reconcile with Scaramouche."
Y/n didn't want to force Scaramouche, but she just wants to try if they can reconcile this time. She wanted him to feel a mother's warmth, something she never had the privilege of because of her dead mother. But when the time is right, she can hopefully see them clear up the misunderstandings and be a happy family.
(Just a note, Ei didn't abandoned Scara, okay!? She gave him freedom and the free will to live his own life. It was just Scaramouche's misunderstanding at that time that he thought he was abandoned. I want them to reconcile so bad.)

"Scaramouche actually threatened Y/n's father and forced him to make a marriage proposal for him to accept."
Scaramouche was made aware of Y/n's existence after first meeting her father when he offered something business related to him one time, and it was through that he discovered the abuse Y/n endured under her father's household and care, hence why he made a scheme to drown her father in debt and force him to hand over Y/n as payment for the debt.
In reality, he was looking for an excuse to whisk away Y/n from that terrible life, and felt like he had finally reunited with his beloved once they had gotten engaged.
