Saphire's P.O.V.

"Hey."

"Hey."

I smiled and sat down next to Andrew.

"So what did you want to tell me?" I asked, getting staright to the point.

Andrew grinned.

"I think I found my mate." He said.

I was shocked for a moment before my grin became just as wide as Andrew's.

"That's great news! Who is it?" I asked.

"Her name's Selena, she's from the Moonstone pack."

My smile faltered for just a second, even though I didn't understand why. But luckily Andrew was to happy to notice.

"So..." I said, nudging him. "When do I get to meet her?" I asked.

Andrew smiled. "I'm not sure. Hopefully if her dad's okay with it then she's comming by tomorrow afternoon. You could meet her then."

"I'll be looking forward to it." I said. And I meant it.

"Has something happened? You look a bit... off." Andrew said.

I sighed. I should have known Andrew would notice, he was my best friend.

"Earlier today I went out for a walk and... I met some one."

Andrew frowned. "What do you mean?"

I told Andrew everything that had happened from the moment the mystery man had shown up. He listened all the way without interrupting, even though I knew he wanted to. I was glad he understood I had to get this off my chest.

"You need to report this to the Alpha, or at least your father."

I looked down at my shoes. My legs were pulled up to my chest and I had my arms wrapped around them. My chin resting on my knees.

"I know but... I just feel, attracted to him or something. I don't understand why but..." I sighed. Probably being very unclear. "I just don't want to report him. Not yet."

I looked at Andrew to make sure we were on the same page. He sighed.

"Okay I won't tell anyone. But as soon as you see him again you mind-link me okay?"

I nodded.

"Do you want to go to the trail, to see if we can find his scent somewhere nearby?" Andrew asked.

I nodded again, I didn't really have anything better to do.

***

Me and Andrew were on the other side of the border. So basically on the other side of the river. This territory was nobody's land, but still. It wasn't our territory so anyone could come here.

Andrew kept close to me like an overprotective brother. Not that I minded. It was nice to know that he had my back. Suddenly we heard crunching sounds. Which sounded alot like the ones I'd heard yesterday.

"Andrew, it's him." I said through mind-link.

"Go back across the river and run home. I'll deal with him. Okay?" Andrew answered back, also through mind-link.

I nodded and turned around to run. When I reached the old fallen over tree that was used as bridge I carfully stepped on and walked accross. Keeping my hands streched out horizontally for balance. Suddenly someone whispered into my ear.

"Hello."

I shrieked and fell over. Straight into the freezing cold water.

Did I ever mention I can't swim?

I started kicking my legs trying to return to the surface. But with the amount of clothing that I was wearing that seemed near to impossible.

"Saphire, where are you?!" Andrew shouted through mind-link. I was about to answer, but at that moment I couldn't hold my breath in any longer. I watched the bubbles escape to the surface. Letting in the cold water. I saw the edges of my vision being clouded over.

The last thing I felt was a pair of strong arms wrapping around my waist before I passed out.
