Loki stared at the green and pink wisps in the air. He had found an unnamed spell in a spell book and was rather curious about its purpose. But he could have sworn he did something wrong. As he scanned through the page, outside of his room you noticed the bright the colors and stepped closer towards it. It wasn't often that a Midgardian saw such sorcery. It's not like it was the first time you saw him doing this but this one was beautiful and it basically entranced you. You warily walked closer to the open door. You weren't really close to Loki but when you were near one another he was often confronting someone else. You've only received looks from him. Loki could honestly be quite intense and scary when he was anger or annoyed. You tried to avoid him the best you could but sometimes it was hard. Sometimes he even made you want to get closer to him. There was something oddly charming about him. But every time you thought of him like that, you blushed and shook the thoughts away.

"How did I mess up?" Loki mumbled to himself. Without even realizing it, you had passed the threshold of the door and was standing in his room. Loki didn't seem to notice your presence at the moment. But when he looked up, he jumped in surprising causing the spell to erupt in a bright green and pink light. You both fell backwards from the intense power within the spell. You were slightly startled by the blast but other than that everything seemed be ok. But the second yours and Loki's eyes met you felt strange. You noticed that his eyes tuned a bit pink for a few seconds when you looked at him. He breathed deeply, scared at what had just happened and what he was going to do. You quickly lifted yourself off of his floor.

"I'm sorry! I didn't know what your were doing." You stammered. He didn't say a word but just stared at you. His face was unreadable which worried you. "I-I'm sorry!" You said once more before nervously running away. Loki leaned against his floor, thinking of nothing beside you. You quickly went into your room and shut the door. You thought about Loki's, dying to know exactly what he felt. A gentle knock snapped you away from your thoughts. The door creaked open and Thor popped his head in. When you both made eye contact he stepped inside.

"Hey, I heard your door slam and wanted to make sure everything was alright." He said. You thought about all that happened and it made your heart flutter.

"I think I upset Loki." You mumbled. Thor sighed. "He was doing some kind of spell and I came in and screw it up!"

"What did he do after that?" He asked. You thought about his face. It was calm, soft and he didn't look as upset as you pictured he would be. Even thought his expression was so bland, it made you feel...happy? Like even though you made a mistake, you both didn't care that you in that room with him.

"Nothing." You said. Thor looked at you confused. He wasn't sure if it was because Loki did nothing or if was because of how awful you made it sound when in reality, it was perfectly fine.

"Oh." Was the only thing he could say. You were barely paying any attention anyways, your mind was filled with thoughts of Loki and images of him. Then suddenly, you felt your head begin to spin. You grabbed your head which cause Thor to rush over to you. "(Y/N)!" He said concerned. He wrapped his arms around you and let you lean against him. You had no idea that you had began to sink towards the floor.

"Whoa." You whispered. He pushed you a bit so you could lay on your bed. "I don't know what happened." Thor patted your shoulder.

"It's alright. You just get some rest and I'll be in here every once awhile to make sure that you are doing well." He said. You lightly nodded your head. Thor quietly left the room and shut the door. He crept down the hall and looked into Loki's room. Loki gripped onto the edge of the table and had his eyes tightly shut. "Loki?" Loki's head slowly raised. "What's the matter?" Thor asked. He walked in and wrapped his arm around Loki's shoulders.

"Just a headache, that's all." He said. Thor didn't think too much of it but the headache was splitting and caused agony. Before Loki could process it, he was sitting on his bed next to Thor. He had one thing on his mind and nothing else. "Where is (Y/N)?" He asked.

"In her room. She is not feeling well. I think she might be stressed out because she thinks she upset you." Thor said. Loki sighed. He wanted to speak to you but he knew he wouldn't be able to go anywhere without Thor's help.

"I'm going to lay down for a bit." He said. He figured he would wait till he got better. "Tell me about her condition when you can brother." Thor was a little confused about the request but nodded anyways.

"Alright. I'll be sure to check on you too." He said. He watched Loki nod and slowly lean into his mattress. Thor stood and watched as Loki lifted his legs onto the bed. Thor slowed left the room, looking back at Loki a few number of times. He felt so worried and confused about both yours and Loki's condition. It had to be the spell. He would have to keep a close eye on the both of you and see you happen.

You thought a good night of sleep would cause the headache to stop but in the middle of the night a sharp pain in your side caused you to have a rude awakening. With a trembling hand, you grabbed your side and groaned. You felt terrified and needed someone beside you. "LOKI!" Was the first name to come out of your mouth. His name snapped Loki out of his sleep. He sat up despite the intense pain that consumed his whole body. He took sharp deep breaths as his eyes darted around the room. Thor also heard the loud scream but was the one who was able to get up and check on you.

"(Y/N)?!" He shouted frantically as he raced down the hall. He turned on the light in your room to see you glistening with sweat. "My god you look awful." He said. At this point, you were afraid. What was happening? This was nothing normal.

"I need some water...." You whispered as you felt your skin began to burn. Thor sure felt when he placed his hand on your damp forehead.

"I'll get that for you just stay right where you are." He said, leaving you to lay in your bed with a head full of worried thoughts. You felt something wasn't only wrong with you but with Loki. But what could you do about it? You were trapped in your bed with no strength.

Days passed and nothing seem to change for the better. You and Loki were trapped in your rooms away from one another. The only person you both saw was an upset Thor. Even he felt helpless when he thought about the untreatable sickness. Each day you found yourself developing strong feelings for the prince. You wanted to be by his side. You wanted to kiss his lips and be held in his arms. You yearned for Loki's love, and tonight was the night you finally had enough. You grabbed the blanket and whipped away the sweat that was building onto your face. You gently let you weak legs go over the edge of you mattress.

"I need to see Loki." You told yourself. You gave yourself a minute to build up your strength and courage. You pushed up and felt the heaviness cause your knees to bend forward a bit. You quickly grabbed the table beside your bed to allow your legs get use of the weight of your body. The only way you'd make it to the door is if you let the things near you guide you. So with help of the wall and your dresser, you shuffled your way to the door. You were happy that no dizzy spells came to break your strive.

"Leave her alone she's asleep right now." Thor's voice caused you to freeze. You felt bad that he was worried about you and Loki that he was awake at a time like this. You waited until no more voices of footsteps were heard to open the door. You twist the knob and let the door creak open while you rested on the door frame. You stared into the dark hallway and noticed a small light. You swear the light came from Loki's room. You slowly crept down the hall still using the wall to hold yourself up. The light was coming from Loki's room! He was awake too! You pushed gently off the wall and let yourself stumble forward until you grabbed his doorframe.

"(Y/N)?" A soft voice said. Loki was laying his bed with two pillows elevating his head. He looked just as bad as you did. Just like you his skin was a sickly pale color, he looked extremely tired and was even sweating like you.   His arm laid weakly over his blanket and were at his side. "I thought you were bed ridden just like me?" You grabbed his bed post and walked slowly to the side of his bed. He watched you fearfully.

"I am." You mumbled. As you sat on the side of his bed, he weakly sat up.

"Lay back." He scooted over, leaving some room on the pillows. It felt so good lay your head back on such soft pillows. It felt better to be laying next to the man you've been longing for.

"Loki..." You mumbled. You didn't know what to say next. Not only did you not know how to continue but his blue eyes looking into yours eyes made you speechless. You watched as he placed his warm hand on your cheek. "Loki." You said again. He didn't reply but placed a light kiss on your lips.

"I've been thinking about you everyday (Y/N). Waiting for my strength to come back so I could get out of this damn bed and see you. But my condition got worse and the thoughts you only intensified. The thought of having you with me, the overwhelming desire to kiss and touch you. Now here you are and I can finally fulfill that need." He said. You felt you heart beat faster and felt that there was possibility that you could pass out.

"Loki, I've felt the same feeling for these last few days but I could never explain as well as you just did." You said. A small smile began to form in the corner his mouth. It didn't take long for lips to quickly go to yours. The kiss started very slowly and passionate. It shifted into a rough and lustful kiss with your bodies pressed close together. The night was an amazing one. It felt good to finally have each other, to feel better. The next morning, you felt better than you every had before. You sat up with any pain or weakness. It was as if nothing had ever happened. You look over at Loki, who eyes were slowly opening. You smiled at him before shyly looking away. "I didn't mean to wake you..." He sat up effortlessly and chuckled.

"It's alright. I've slept enough these last few days." He said. You weren't sure about yourself but you saw much improvement in Loki. Something seemed to be on his mind as well and you had strong feeling it was the same thing you had on yours. "You know that spell was a love spell right?" He asked. You nodded. "And what we did last night seemed to help break it." You nodded again.

"Than why do I still have feelings for you?" You  asked quickly. Loki made eye contact with you. You regretted saying anything. "I'm sorry..." You mumbled. You tried to stand but he grabbed your arm.

"(Y/N), darling, don't apologize I feel the same." He said. You looked over at him. "And this isn't anything new. I've also had these feeling towards but I always hid them."

"Really?" You asked. He nodded and gave a reassuring smile.

"This spell was the best damn spell I've ever stumbled upon. I don't even care about the unbearable sickness I faced." He said. You felt your cheek burn which meant you were blushing. You looked away smiling even though you knew he already saw.

"I'm glad we can finally be truthful about our feeling for one another." You said. Loki kissed your rosy cheek and wrapped his arms around you. You hated to break up his affections but you raised out of his bed to dress yourself. "We need to tell Thor about how we're better. He's been worried sick." You said as Loki got himself dressed. He put his shirt on and then stood in front of you.

"Alright." He said. You watched him as he leaned down the kiss you. A smile appeared on his face and he grabbed your hand. "Come on then." He said softly. You let guide you as you felt smiled to yourself. You couldn't be happier than you were now.
