Bio:

Deene Carter was born on the planet Krypton with the birth name of Kal-El. As a baby, his parents sent him to a habitable planet in a small spaceship shortly before Krypton was destroyed in a natural cataclysm. The spaceship crash lands on a World of Twelve where a Feca couple, Ataro and Fari, found him as a baby. There, they adopted the boy and named him Deene Carter. The couple learn of the boy's superpower after witnessing him lift heavy objects as a baby to their surprise as they never wanted to reveal him to the public knowing he can be used for evil easily. Later on, upon learning his own heritage of superpowers, Deene struggled to accept it and subconsciously developed mental blocks, severing him from his true power that he had to uncover through his life in the future.

Later on, at age 10, he had learned so much from his adoptive family, enjoying life with them, even his father. He had it all that good parent could give, but one thing he wanted was to go outside beyond just a farm. But he kept his spirits high for his family. But when his adoptive father died of a sudden stroke, it saddened both him and his mother as it made Deene feel ashamed that with all his powers, he couldn't save his father.

Sometime following the funeral, Deene Carter is called into the barn, where he uncovers the wrecked starship and finds the very thing that has called him: a glowing green crystal. He says goodbye to his mother Fari and then sets out toward the North, where he flings the green crystal into the frozen Arctic Sea. From where it lands, it creates a structure made of slanted long white crystals into which Deene enters. By inserting a crystal into a tube, he causes the image of his real father Jor-El appear before him, to instruct him on what he needs to know about himself and about the powers he possesses, learning that his real name is Kal-El.

He spends 2 years in the Fortress with the image of Jor-El teaching him, and then later at the end of the teaching, as Jor-El's image departs, Deene Carter now goes off to world he desire to explore to learn more of its life and civilization across different land as he kept his suit in bag as he now had a heroic identity, Superboy.
