*Amanda's pov*

"Enough!" My voice boomed in the woods as I stood there stunned looking down at the duo in disbelief. Kayla's wolf whimpered as it struggled to get free form the death grip my mate has on her neck. Taehyung sat on her back straddling her while she lay flat on her stomach underneath him. When my voice reached them my mate immediately let go of her and stood up letting the wolf to stand on its' foot too. The glimpse of a predator that has on his eyes a millisecond ago totally vanished into this air as he cast a apologetic look at Kayla's wolf.

"I am not doing this shit again!" Kayla said through the link as her wolf form relaxed the muscles on its' neck that got strangled a few seconds ago by my mate.

It's Wednesday evening and so I decide to train him in the woods with the help of my dear mother like friend. Since he has match this Friday we wouldn't be able to continue our training cause he is busy with practicing. Even Tae is wolf-less, he still has the alpha blood on him. So if he trained enough like I said in the beginning of our training it wouldn't be hard for him to beat a wolf lower than his rank. So I decided to start training him on fighting with a wolf that lower than his rank. Who would be a perfect choice than my female beta friend. What shocked me was it's his first day fighting a wolf and he already had that wolf underneath him whimpering within 10 minutes. ARE YOU KIDDING ME? HOW ON EARTH IS THAT POSSIBLE?

"Don't judge a book by its' cover Amy!" Yoongi's word from that day cross my mind sending a chill down my spine. Ever since he told me that, I start to pay attention to every little move my mate made. And true enough I caught him changing. He is totally a different person if you payed attention to him close enough. Sure in other's eyes he is still that innocent, shy  and nerdy boy. But if you look closer you will realize that his silence is a way more of a intimating others than being shy. Minute by minute, hour by hour and day by day he is starting to get more intimating, dominate and powerful, both physically and mentally. He is a puzzle. A puzzle that I am obsessed to solve. His every single detail is enduring and I would never get tired of studying him. I want to reach the deepest of his heart and know who really he is.

"What is next?" Kayla's words brought me back to present and I realized that somewhere in my ramblings about my mate in my mind, she shifted back and changed into her casual jogging cloths.  I heaved out a long sigh before  letting the arms down that rest against my waist and loosing muscles.

"Now he fights with me!" Both of them gave me a dumbfound look, like I just told them that I am alien distinguish as a wolf and I love eating grass. I groaned before setting to explain to those two idiots. "He already beat a beta wolf. Now the next level. Fighting a alpha!" I explained as Kayla's eyes widened in horror unlike my mate who narrowed his eyes at my statement.

"I am not hitting you!" He said in a stern voice, scrunching his face into a scowl, folding his arms over the chest. Kayla let out a screech glancing at him like he just hit his head somewhere.

"BOY ARE YOU KIDDING ME?" She yelled as he looked at her sudden outburst confused. "What made you think, you can even lay a nail on her? Have you ever seen her in a battle field? She is a beast. A BEAST!" Kayla screeched throwing her arms over air for exaggeration. But to my surprise my mate stood unaffected by her out burst glancing down at her rambling like a crazy women without even changing a single muscle on his face.

"I am not hitting her!" He said again to her, totally ignoring what she just said. Kayla's jaws dropped as well as mine. Wow! He is boosting with confident.

"Okay you don't have to hit me. Just try to avoid my punches and pin me down!" I said as a compromise which was a mistake. His eyes darkened as he clenched his teeth. His posture totally hardened as the air around him shifted.

"I am not hurting you!" He seethed in a tone that made my knees buckled. I got this urge to surrender to his command. Even without fighting my wolf totally submitted to his word. I don't get it. Recently Milena has been submitting into his words more and more. Is it because he is our mate? But she is an alpha!

"Okay okay cool buddy. You look really serious!" Kayla tried to ease out. "You know what let's just end it for today. We all need rest and we have school tomorrows. Not to mention our exams are nearing and we need to study." I nodded my head at Kayla's word cause honestly I didn't know what to say. First I am still in daze at his sudden boldness. Second my heart did flips from his words despite the harshness on that tone. 'I am not hurting you!' Is that true? Can I trust him?

"Okay! I will drop you two the pack house." He let out with a sigh giving into Kayla's words. Wow! It hadn't even been 30 minutes since we started training, we are already wrapping up. I didn't hope my time with him would be this short. Look like fate is against me today.

"No it's okay Tae! We are gonna shift and take a run. You can leave!" As much as I wanted to drag the time I could spend with him, I can't take him to the pack house with every chaos going around me. Not after Everyone figure out he is my mate. So sadly I had to refuse his offer. His face grimaced for a second, but he face fast enough to school it a light smile before Kayla could noticed.

"Okay then. See you tomorrow!" He said as a final greeting before turning away and walking away leaving both of us stunned.

"Amy where are you?" That's what I heard from my father through the mind-link as soon as we stepped into the pack territory. Instantly I realized something was wrong through the pack bond and my wolf growled inside me.

"Just got in father" I linked back immediately without wasting a second. Beside me Kayla let out a worried whimper sensing something is wrong.

"Come near to the full moon pack border!" that's all he said before closing the link. I could feel the slight anger and sadness of his from the pack bond. Without wasting time we both dashed towards other end of our pack border. As we neared I could hear the mourning of pack members. A crowd was gathered in a circle and when I neared they made their way for me. All their faces was grimace. The more I neared the more restless my wolf became.

And there I saw two lifeless bodies of our pack warriors laid there in the middle as I my father and his beta stood next to those bodies with glowing eyes. My father's face was exotic. My wolf growled loudly gaining everyone's attention. Instantly the pain of loosing two pack members hit through the bond and I felt my blood boiling. My wolf felt thirsty for blood. To hunt. To hunt those who hurt her pack members. As the future alpha it is in my nature to feel protective over every single member of my pack. That feeling runs in my blood even if I wasn't the future alpha.

"Alpha we couldn't figure out who did this, but there is a faint scent of rouges in the pack border!" I growled again as Uncle Mark, the beta of our pack explains the situation.

"Send warriors to track the scent. I want those bastards alive. I am personally gonna skin them alive!" I growled through the pack link earning a horror look from everyone except my father who looks at me somewhat proudly.

"We already did. But the scent vanished without a trace like that day!" He explained again as both mine  and my  father's eyes flashed red.

"Dismiss!" My father growled using his alpha voice and immediately everyone start to retreat except me and his beta. "I am gonna talk about this with alpha Woobin. Mark arrange their funeral. They are brave warriors. We should give our final respect to them with honor. " My father glanced down at the bodies sadly before hardening his face to look at me. "Amy handle the patrolling today!"

"Yes alpha!" I bowed my head out of respect as he gave me a nod of approval before walking away. I looked down at those warriors as my wolf howled in pain and sadness. I will not let this go easily. I swear I will avenge their death. I swear!

"You look like a zombie sis!" Jimin mocked as I walked or more like dragged my body towards the cafeteria. It's lunch break and so far I haven't seen my mate. Why? That damn foot ball match and its' practice. Yesterday was exhausted. I stayed awake whole night guarding the pack  border along with my warriors to assure my restless wolf that her members are safe and sound. And today morning I was more than looking forward to take a glimpse of him to calm myself and my wolf. But like I said, fate hate me these days.

"Shut up Jimin. You can't blame her. She has a big responsibility on her shoulders." Kayla defended giving a glare to him as we neared our table. Jungkook and Jhope was already there with the food. We took our usual seats and greeted each others. There was one empty spot between me and Jhope waiting for my mate. As soon as Kayla and Jimin sat on Jungkook's either side they start snatching foods like they haven't eat for months. Jungkook just looked at Kayla fondly while me and Jhope chuckled. Whipped! I scrunched my face when I noticed that my chicken sandwiches and milkshake wasn't there. Did they forgot to bought mine?

"Your lover boy will get your's!" Suddenly Jhope teased noticing my scowl. Everyone chuckled at me causing me to roll my eyes. But I froze when I got a whiff of that familiar scent. Tingled ran across my skin when his hand brushed against mine as he took the seat next to me. I let out a sigh of relief when his presence basked me calming every nerve of mine. Soon enough there was two chicken sandwiches and a vanilla milkshake in front of me. I looked into my side and met with that side profile of his which melted all my stress.

"Awwwww... Isn't he a prince charming?" Kayla gushed cooing at him making my mate's cheeks scarlet red. The tips of his ears turned red as he looked down trying to hide his blush.

"Hey just buying food for Amy makes him a prince charming, then I am a one too. I bought you food." Jungkook pointed out.

"And who asked money from me for that a second ago?" Kayla questioned causing Jungkook to pout at her defeated. Idiot!

"Hello there sweetheart!" A very annoying voice greeted from my behind and I closed my eyes, clenching my knuckles already getting annoyed at that person even without seeing him. I can recognized that voice anywhere. Why? Because that voice belong to the person I hate most in this school.

Steve Anthony! The cause of my annoyance.  

The said boy grabbed a chair from the near by table and placed it near my other side taking a seat without needing any of us to invite him to the table. Kayla groaned as Jungkook and Jimin start sending death glares at him. Two of his minions stood beside him like his watch dogs. He had been staying away from me for past months cause he got enough beaten up from Kris trying to hit on me. Once Kris even ended him up in a hospital. But this idiot never got the hint. The last time he tried to flirt with me Kris nearly lost it and almost killed him if it wasn't for my father who controlled him. We was all out with our families that day when out of no where this jerk showed up and start hitting on me shamelessly in front of our parents. That day my father made it clear that one day I am gonna marry Kris so he better stay away from me. Or else my father will personally hunt him down. After that incident he didn't show up in front of me. Or maybe I didn't notice him with all the dramas going around me. Seriously can't this boy take the hint.

"Back to single huh?" He raised his eyebrow which made him look ridiculous as he placed a one hand in front of me, bending his head lightly to look up at my face which was fuming with anger and annoyance. 

"Steve I am not in the mood. Please leave!" I said trying my best not to snap at him. I am having enough attention on me already. No need to drag more.

"Awww come on! Don't use that card on me. You are single now and that watch dog of yours have no rights to bark at me now!" He mocked as I felt my wolf growling inside me. A law growl escaped from Jungkook which caught his attention. "What puppy? You got your girl next to you. I have dibs on her now!" He snapped at Jungkook pointing at me. Huh? What am I? Atoy for him to call dibs on? Jungkook snarled and was about to snap but Kayla being smart hold his hand stopping him from doing so.

"Look Steve I am not interest. So you better try on someone else!" I said once again wanting him to send away from here as soon as possible. His mere presence annoy me to the core.

"Don't be like this Sweet heart. That Kris already had his chance with you and now it's my turn. Don't I deserve a chance after waiting so long?" He asked trying to sound cute. But honestly I just wanted to vomit. "Beside who is there suitable for you to go out other than me? You are not planing to date that nerd sitting next to you like everybody else is saying right?" Milena saw red. She clawed inside me asking to let her out wanting to snap his throat out for disrespecting our mate like this. "Beside if you don't wanna be in a relationship now it's fine. Just go out with me for few months. We can have fun!" He suggested wiggling his eyebrows with a wicked smile. Huh? Fun? WHAT THE FUCK?

Within a blink of an eye something passed my face connecting Steve's face as wind blew against my skin harshly from that moment and the next second he was in the floor whimpering in pain holding his nose. Blood oozed out among his fingers as he cursed in agony. The two watch dog of his looked down at him totally speechless and froze in shock. I heard gasps and noticed all my friends's mouths are hanging ajar as they looked at something in utter disbelief.

I turned my head to look where they are looking and my breath hitched from the sight. There stood the boy that was blushing a few minutes ago looking like a man. A total dominant man. He looks like someone else. Veins were decorating his forehead, His knuckles are turned white from how hard he clenched, his whole body was shaking from the anger, seething his teeth as a very very low growl, yes you heard it right! Growls escaped his mouth.  

"Didn't you get the message leech?" He seethed. Venom was evident in his voice. "She is not interest. FUCK OFF!" My jaws dropped as well as our friends. Steve looked at Taehyung like he just grew two horns.

"Why do you care?" One of Steve's guard dogs had guts to question him which was a big mistake. If looks could kill, that boy would have turn into ashes by now. The boy whimpered under the intensive gaze my mate send towards him. Taehuyng clenched his fists hissing and took a step forward to do the same to that boy what he did to Steve, but me being fast and rational at that moment stood up stepping in between them and holding my mate's forearm stopping him from doing anything stupid. Immediately those darkened eyes landed on me and I shook my head signaling him to not to do anything. He gazed into my eyes like trying to read something and contemplating whether to listen to me or not. After back few seconds he sighed giving into me, but instead of backing away and letting me handle this like I expected, he suddenly climbed up the table standing in the middle of it.

"LISTEN HERE EVERYONE!" He yelled gaining the attention of everyone in the cafeteria.

"What is he doing?" I heard Kayla whispering to Jungkook who looks at me for answers. But I have no idea.

"THIS GIRL OVER HERE!" He pointed at me. "IS MINE!" I heard several gasped including our own friends.Then those intensive gaze landed on the Steve who somewhat manage to stand up with the helps of his minions. "IF HER BEING MINE MEANS THAT I HAVE TO CALL DIBS ON HER, THEN YES! I HAD DIBS ON HER EVEN BEFORE SHE KNEW WHO I WAS." His voice boomed. And slowly those intensive eyes landed on me and they instantly softened. "YOU ARE MINE!"

"ONLY MINE!"

"Snap out of it sis!" Jimin said with a chuckle glancing back at me through the rear mirror.

"Oh shut up! Can't blame her. Did you two see him? 'You are mine! Only mine!'" Kayla said trying to mimic my mate's earlier statement. Thinking about it even now make my heart thump faster as my stomach churned.

"I know right! Damn how bold of him to lay a claim on her like that. Even my brother stayed all over possessive over her and dated her for years, never even once he did something bold like that." Jungkook added amused. True. Even Kris never did something like that. Cause he knew that I hate being controlled and knowing as someone's else like a position. But instead of getting angry at Taehyung for claiming me like that openly without my consent, I felt happy, proud and somewhat  relieved.

"You can tell that the two us are a good influence on him. Look how he is changing. And I bet Amy must be secretly enjoying this." Jimin added smugly earning a scoff from me. But I couldn't completely denied that statement. Cause indeed I kind of enjoyed his new changes.

We pulled into the pack house and was greeted by Bella... I mean my mum standing outside the door waiting for us or more like me with folded arms. She totally ignored all our questions and told me to go to the office this instantly. So I did.

As soon as I entered the office I noticed my father sitting behind his big office table while currently covered with piles of papers or more like letters. Without saying a word he gestured his hands towards those papers and I got the signal. Taking a seat in front of him I start taking random letters and start reading them. And what I found on them made my blood boil and at the same time really devastated. 

Those letters are all from our pack members. And in every single one of them has questioned about one person. My mate. Reading them I realized how insecure they felt about their future leader. Some even questioned is he even worth of being my mate. Some had requested from my father to stop me from mating with him. Cause apparently according to them my mate is not a good potential mate and a leader to lead this pack along side me. I clenched my fits biting my bottom lip trying my best to hold back the tears that threatened to slip out from my eyes.

My father grabbed his phone and start typing before showing the screen to me. And there was a video of me and my mate making out in front of the school gate few days ago. He skipped to the next one and there was the latest video of my mate laying his claim on me in front of all the students. My inside scrunched as my wolf got anticipation thinking about what about to come. I looked at my father to see him keeping a blank face void of any emotions. And only he said was two sentences.

"Bring him. It's time I have a talk with him!"
