Is it over?

"Please make it easy for us Gavin, and just give yourself to us. We promise to let the other android go." With a wide grin on its face, the faker slowly maneuvered towards Gavin. He felt angry with Connor being referred to as an object. Pretty ironic if you think about it.

Gavin let himself relax his shoulders, and calmed his senses so he could think rationally. Elijah and the police probably aren't that far behind, he could stall them for a bit, but how? ... wait, these idiots like seeing Androids fight. That's it.

"You guys want to see a fight, don't you?"

A pause reached Gavin's ears. He knew they were intrigued by this... offer.

"...Would you be so kind as to entertain us?"

Gavin peered back to Connor, who's eyes now held a tint of fear. Of course, there were only two optional opponents Either the faker, or actual Connor. There was a slightly bigger chance he would go against the fake, because if they want an actual fight, they'll put him up against a stronger opponent.

"Might as well." There wasn't a reason to deal with these people, because they'd immediately back down on it last minute. All he could hope is to last long enough for the DPD to get here. Before it began, he received a message from Elijah.

"They're on their way brother, stay strong." Thankfully these people couldn't access his mind. Or even tell he got a message.

"Gavin, are you suicidal? They're going to kill you!"

"That's the point jackass" Gavin responded. He removed his jacket to the ground. "It takes a lot to kill me," Gavin mumbled.

Gavin raised his arms into a fighting position. He had to be careful, the faker was clearly advanced... Almost too advanced for these idiot's. There's definitely something more going on here.

The faker went for his jaw, but Gavin blocked it. Immediately kneeing him in the groin. He's a robot, so he couldn't actually feel pain. So Gavin didn't need to show any empathy.

"Wow, you've been programmed well. Hopefully you're not..."

Gavin immediately kicked the faker in the jaw to shut him up. He didn't want to hear it. He had to stay focused. It tried to grab him by the wrist but Gavin punched him in the stomach.

Why did this feel so familiar?

Once the faker regained it's balance Gavin already knocked it back down.

"Is this what you wanted to see!" Gavin yelled up at the speaker. However Gavin really shouldn't have done that. With his guard down for literally the smallest moment, the faker had enough time to punch him square in the jaw. That was when Gavins sense signals started to work overtime. That one hit threw him back to the evidence room incident with Connor. Gavins systems allowed him to fall onto the concrete floor.

No, he was not going to end up the same way he did back at that robots mercy. Gavin returned to his feet and tackled the faker down to the ground. Elbowing it in it's stomach. Blue blood exiting it's mouth.

But the faker had other plans. He flipped himself on top of Gavin and instantly began strangling him. Gavin grunted and tried to reach for his gun that he forgot about in his pocket. The faker noticed it before Gavin could even reach it and just tossed it behind him and strangled him even harder, with the widest, creepiest grin it's face as it saw blue blood dripping from Gavin's mouth.

Until a loud bang was heard, and the grip on Gavins neck loosened. Drip, drop blue blood landed on Gavins face. Connor shot the faker with Gavins gun. It dropped down next to Gavin.

...

.....

...

Silence. Gavin refused to look back at Connor. The sirens outside were enough to let Gavin know that this was going to be over soon...hopefully. The doors burst open and Hank, Tina, Fowler, basically the entire DPD were running in. Gavin looked back at the faker below him, it was clearly dead.

A smile made it to his face before Tina was by his side, carrying him back outside where he finally met 2 cops holding a man, who he could presume was the speaker asshole who started this stupid thing. He didn't even care to remember what he looked like.

However when he saw Connor come out, at first he felt relieved, but then the old panic returned. Soon, his vision faded to black.

Gavin woke up in a familiar setting, it wasn't his home. It was Elijahs. He was staring up at the white ceiling as his systems started rebooting.

"Glad to see you're awake Gavin," Chloe said as she entered the room with some bio components. "Elijah insisted on you coming here after you shut down due to your stress meter going too high."

Of course he did.

"Thanks Chloe."

"You're welcome Gavin." Chloe began working on Gavins system as he fell back into unconsciousness.

A couple days later, Gavin was up and running the same as before. He had the option to go back to his old home and still work for the DPD, but with the fact he's actually an android now out and in the open, he chose to go into hiding at Elijah's place. He didn't know for how long though. Know him though, he'd probably never go outside again.
